Kids Planet Christie Fields has a philosophy based on providing nurturing environments for children, alongside a supportive approach to parents. Part of the Kids Planet Group, Kids Allowed Christie Fields opened in May 2006 and caters for babies through to preschool.

All nursery centres are purpose-built and have become award-winning facilities, including secure outdoor play areas, quality resources and a team of carers who are driven to excel at their provision. The approach is based on listening to and respecting all ideas, whether big or small.

I can throughly recommend Christie Fields nursery. My daughter has been going for the last 9 months now, from initial baby rooms to now their woddlers rooms. The staff are really great, generally the same people in each room every day, greeting her warmly and she is happy to get a cuddle as soon as
I walk in the door from them!
The rooms are bright and airy and every classroom has access to outside spaces which they encourage and use in all weathers (don't forget a coat, if you do, they have spares on site!)
Loads of activities to do each day, they have been out on trips to the parks, tram rides, and even to the local shopping centre for an afternoon.
Food is varied, and extra portions are not an issue, along with snacks, whenever they want them.
All this is relayed throughout the day, along with pictures via the app, which the staff are pretty good at completing (Could be better, but I appreciate when 12 kids in a room, that it's not the top priority!).

Our son is currently in a baby room at Kids Allowed Christie Fields nursery. Overall it was okay at the beginning but not so great now. The nursery's procedure for when a child gets a temperature is very flawed and allows staff to send kids home at a whim. We are at the point where we are having to
remove him from this nursery altogether and making a formal complaint to the council and to Ofsted.
We were told that the practice is to give liquid paracetamol and wait 30 min. Twice in 30 days: we were called to pick him up for a PCR test, no mention of any liquid paracetamol given or other soothing attempted. This is exceptionally disruptive to our workdays as it takes roughly an hour to get home to collect him. Last time in Feb, it was the exact same: one short direct call: you need to pick him up. Why bother sending a kid to the nursery if all we're going to do is pick him up at the slightest temperature?
Poor management, poor procedures, poor experience.

We currently have one child in Woddler group and one child in the pre-school full time. Our eldest (who is now at school) also went through from baby group to Pre at Christie Fields full time. We have loved the ethos and attitude of Kids Allowed and it’s staff. They have felt like an extension of our
family at times. They are enthusiastic, engaged with each of our children’s individual needs and open to new ideas and listening. We have always had 100% peace of mind on drop off. Whenever small issues have arisen (and these instances have been rare over the 6 years) the team have been receptive and actioned changes. We have and continue to recommend this nursery to our good friends.

My daughter was in Waddler 4 and loved it! All of the staff in the room were so kind and welcoming. Sometimes I think people don’t realise that this child is my world, my little pot of gold and I’m trusting these people to care for her as I would. They did that, I genuinely cannot fault the Waddler
4 staff at all for all they did.
My daughter has now moved up to the Toddler room, hopefully they will be just as good!

Putting our daughter into this nursery has surpassed all of our expectations. The staff have been nothing short of amazing and it has more of a family feel rather than that you're paying for a service to look after your child. We would highly recommend this nursery.

Kids Allowed is an excellent nursery and gives complete peace of mind that my son is looked after.
Toddler 2 is a well-run, organised room and they have always taken any requests I have had about my child eg naps etc on board and implemented efficiently.

Outstanding infrastructure.
Security process in place, however, it can be easily violated (for example someone gaining entrance by following a parent with the code or fingerprint).
Very nice carers.
Like to receive a report for the daily activities, feeds, etc. However, it would be much better if
I had these available online, instead of using paper. Also, I would love to see online (with a username and password) the lovely photos they take during the day.

There isn't really enough space provided to write how much we love Kids Allowed Christie Fields. They have supported us through some very tough times with patience, honesty and above all care and compassion. The management leads a team of exceptional staff who genuinely love the children. Our boys come
home happy and tired which tells me they have had an amazing day. All the little touches such as daily printed reports, fruit platter in reception, and trips to the park with the children go a long way. We are just about to move to Australia, so we will be on the lookout for a Kids Allowed down under!

Kids Allowed Christie Fields was the most amazing nursery and preschool for my little boy. My son has downs syndrome and is literally breaking records since he attended Kids Allowed. He astounds professionals every day with his level of advancement and just how much he has achieved. The staff at Kids
Allowed are beyond amazing. The children are greeted each day as if they are coming home. They are welcomed, nurtured, cared for and genuinely loved whilst given the tools to embrace learning and learning they do! The environment is superb, the vibe in every room is one of love, nurture and care and is the same no matter whether its 7.30 in the morning or 6.30 in the evening - it's always one where the staff truly care and treat the children as one of their own and the parents as part of their family. You can see the children's faces light up when they arrive! We hope that one day Kids Allowed open a school so children can continue to enjoy this wonderful experience for the rest of their childhood!

My family adores Kids Allowed. The friendly, enthusiastic and delightful staff makes dropping your child off feel like their at home.
The children have varied days from trips out to Knowlsyy Manchester Museum and local park. Most importantly our daughter always has a smile on her face. Kids Allowed
also look after us the parents too providing drinks/tea/coffee, postal service and always helps to swap days to accommodate our work life. Thanks for being outstanding Kids Allowed.

Both my daughters have come to Kids Allowed Christie Fields and I can honestly say that we are so lucky as parents to have found such an amazing childcare nursery. Every aspect has been fantastic and both girls enjoyed and still do enjoy their time here. The level of care has been outstanding!! The
staff know every child by name and are so friendly and always with a smile on their faces. The love both my girls have received has been such a comfort as I drop them off. I just know they are in good hands! Thank you especially to the manager who always goes above and beyond!! You are all amazing.

As a mum of a toddler, it's always worrying leaving your child with "strangers" but here it feels like a home from home. Management always have a smile on their face and are super helpful and the staff look after the children like their own.

My son has been at Kids Allowed since he was 10 months old and I feel very lucky that he attends such a wonderful Nursery. Not only are the staff welcoming, caring and friendly, they have also helped to teach him many new skills.
My son thoroughly enjoys his time at Nursery. There are always exciting
activities on offer and the staff ensure these activities are tailored to meet his needs and interests.
All staff go above and beyond to ensure my son is well cared for. They take time at the end of every day to feedback about how his day has been.
The management team are always so friendly and helpful and there is a lovely atmosphere in the Nursery.
As an Early Years teacher and parent I highly recommend Kids Allowed.

Kids Allowed is a fabulous nursery. I have felt confident and relaxed from the moment I walked through the doors. My daughter has been attending the Christie Fields nursery since she was 1 and is currently in preschool. She has grown and developed so many skills thanks to the hard work of her teachers
and more importantly is happy and confident because of the obvious nurturing, caring environment. Her individual needs are always met but she is also a very happy member of her social group. Couldn't be happier.
