Kids adVentures Prestwich is a childcare nursery and Forest School. Located at 2 different sites (just 10 minutes apart) the traditional nursery and separate forest school give a rounded learning experience before going to school which fosters imagination, confidence and learning.
Outdoor education is a big part of Kids adVentures, both within a large garden and in a dedicated Forest School.
Toddlers and babies are based at the traditional nursery setting...

My little boy has been attending Kids adVentures for almost a month. The staff are incredibly caring and have got to know him really well during this short time. There are lots of opportunities for learning outside which he thoroughly enjoys. We are really glad we chose Kids adVentures.

So far we have been really pleased with the forest school, the staff and the personalised care towards ensuring our little one settles in. He runs out the door in the morning excited to spend the day in this lovely setting!

When we took our son to Kids adVentures we knew it was a slightly different approach with the Forest school activity but as he loves the outdoors we thought this would be a great experience for him.
We have now been using the nursery for 6 months and I can honestly say we struggle to drag him away at the end of each day at nursery. The variety of activity that he gets involved in is brilliant, in fact, I wish I could do some of the outdoor stuff myself - den making etc.

She gets lots of outdoor play everyday and they do lots of trips out too. She is learning all the time and comes home full of stories about what she has done that day.

I'm really pleased that we chose this nursery and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
The rooms are full of lots of lovely exciting toys and the activities they do such as painting and gloop are really good. My daughter made her first hand print painting which takes pride of place on my fridge now.
The learning book system they use is really good as it allows me as a parent to see what she has been doing and learning whilst in the comfort of my own home and I can share this with her grandparents who live down South. It also allows me to put up pictures and videos that share my daughter's learning experiences at home with her key person.
A big thank you to all the staff at the nursery.
The care is really personal, the staff know my child and my family - there is a real family feel here. My little boy gets lots of outside play time and to go on trips.
Most importantly though, the staff really seem to care.

Meet the Team (2)
I have worked at Kids Adventures Prestwich since October 2021. I really enjoy working here and offering a unique, homely environment for our children. I have worked in early years settings for over 13 years, I am level 3 qualified and have previously worked in a range of large nursery settings. My favourite aspects of Kids Adventures are our small, intimate base rooms, where children create secure relationships with the staff and children and thrive off the consistency of care they receive and also, our forest school ethos where children learn outdoors and become confident and resilient individuals before their eventual move to school.
If you are interested in a place for your child/children, I would love to show you around the setting, and discuss your requirements and what we offer.
I am passionate about our setting and the care we provide. I really like how intimate the nursery is and how children settle quickly, building amazing bonds with our team. It is also a privilege to care for our wonderful children and families.
