Our daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time at Forest School and we have seen her develop both socially and academically. Her confidence has grown considerably. Thank you Forest School for all the support and encouragement you give our daughter. She has truly thrived in your care.

My son has attended Forest School since January 2023. We've always been pleased with the care and attention he's received but I would say that over the past few months the Forest School has improved significantly. The new leadership have done a magnificent job and are an absolute credit to Kids adVentures. Thank you to everyone at the Forest School for creating such a warm and positive learning environment.

We currently have our youngest at the nursery and our oldest at Forest School and we are really happy with both settings. The nursery is a calm and caring place, our daughter loves going in the morning and has been thriving there. The staff is lovely and she's really attached to them. Forest School: I think this is one of the best experiences our son has had so far in his life. He comes back from school covered in mud and sporting the biggest smile, he talks about insects and birds he has seen during the day, about leaves and plants he knows. I am so happy we chose this school for him, giving him the possibility to spend time outdoors and enjoy the freedom that young children should have.

Forest school. Amazing place for children to explore the world around them, The outdoor space and outdoor activities are incredible, unique and enable the children to thrive - much better than being stuck indoors with toys and tiny/basic concrete outside area. We think all children should experience forest school - experience and learn about nature. Staff are lovely and know so much.

My son has absolutely loved his time at forest school. There is no other setting like it, the opportunity for your children to learn and play in nature whilst being able to explore every day is incredible.

The team and morals that they teach the children are aligned with how I want my children to grow up. I would recommend forest school to anyone. Going to really miss it. Thank you for everything these last 2 years. My son has loved it!

Since being at forest school, my daughter's independence she confidence have grown so much. The teachers are great, they obviously care about the children a lot. They play creative games that help them both with their education and all of their transition phases as they learn to navigate the world.

My son has attended the nursery and then forest school since 2021. I was keen for him to attend the nursery as it was attached to the forest school which has been the best decision for us and him. He thrives in such a physical environment and we've both been very keen for him to stay in a play/nature-based environment for as long as possible. There has been a high staff turn over which seems to have settled more recently and it's a really lovely team there now who look after the children so well - the new management has made a big difference to this I think. My son loves bringing home the eggs from the chickens and he has already asked to attend the holiday clubs once he starts school in Sept.

Our child has thrived at forest school. The teachers have nurtured his interests and created a lovely environment for exploring, building and learning all whilst having fun and getting covered in mud. I am really glad they came here and learnt so much about nature as well as preparing for school transitions.

I'd like to share feedback for the current Kids Adventures Nursery and Forest School Team, especially one staff member in particular who leads the team brilliantly and makes that place a safe and magical environment for my son. The staff are incredible and they genuinely would go above and beyond to help the children to feel at home and assist their development in every single step. It has been beautiful to watch them build bonds with the staff and the other children. The staff member mentioned previously is a superstar, she has been with them for less than 6 months and has already made a significant impact: she brings ideas and implements them to bring consistency for the children, she is clear and transparent while communicating with us, listens to our points and concerns and tries to attend our demands efficiently. Our son is the happiest child and loves going to Forest School, we appreciate all the love, attention and support received from all his teachers. I can't recommend this place enough, it is simply incredible.

I cannot speak highly enough about this nursery. They care extremely well for my daughter and she loves going there, she even asks to go on days when she's not in. The nursery (the management and nursery nurses) supported me through a very hard period, they went above and beyond by allowing my daughter to attend the nursery while my grandmother was in a coma, it made an extremely hard time just a little easier and for that, I'm forever grateful.

My child loves his time at Kids Adventures Nursery and Forest School. The staff have good relationships with the children, teaching them to develop their interpersonal skills along with practical life skills, such as fire safety and learning though nature. The location and environment fosters open ended learning through play, which is led by the children and supported by the staff. He always comes home happy, having learnt something new, which he is eager to share with us.

My little boy has just left the Forest School at Kids adVentures after just over a year.
He did enjoy going and the children do seem happy when they are there but we found the Forest school had poor communication, constant staff changes, lack of information at handovers, zero feedback on child development and our bill was frequently incorrect. We were told we would receive daily photos of their activities but that very rarely happened and we were sent about 4 photos in 12 months.
I raised a couple of concerns about my child and I don’t feel they were taken seriously.

The staff all seem nice but the Forest school lacks management and it doesn’t have a welcoming vibe.

The staff here are incredible, they go above and beyond to provide the best care for the children, you can tell they actually care about each child and nothing is ever too much for them to do. The children are always so happy and you can tell they are very well looked after and not just a number. My little boy has made so much progress since starting here and it’s all down to the amazing staff.

I cannot say enough positive things about this nursery and how my 4-year-old daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her year and a half here! So much so, we opted to not start her at nursery school last September, choosing instead to stay on at forest school longer.
She’s a “girly girl” and the adventurous magical atmosphere of this environment has her full attention! From making crowns, wands and potions to cooking garlic bread from scratch around the campfire and feeding the chickens - she’s enthralled!

The staff have been amazing with her and she has formed happy, loving bonds with you all. For that, her father and I will be forever grateful. Her 1st nursery wasn’t a great fit for her and we’re so happy we found this nursery as she had no issue settling in and finding her place amongst the adventure and fun. You are all solely responsible for bringing along our very very fussy eater in ways we have struggled to at home! Thank you all so much!

My little boy attends Kids AdVentures he has attended the nursery since he was 9 months old and has recently turned 2 and moved up into the next room. He has also received amazing care from all the staff. They go above and beyond, management always sort out any questions or queries that we have. Myself and my wife are extremely happy with the nursery our little boy is thriving and thats thanks to the care, love and amazing activities that he does. Our eldest child also attended the nursery from a baby right through to forest school.

Our eldest started at Kids adVentures when he was 8 months old, and is now continuing in the Forest School. Our youngest has just started at the nursery. When choosing a nursery, especially with such young children, the most important thing to us was that the child would feel really cared for - a home away from home. We absolutely found this at Kids adVentures. The staff genuinely care about the children, and the children build lovely bonds with both the staff and the other children. This allows for an environment where communication flows easily between the nursery and home, and any issues or concerns that are brought up are dealt with efficiently and thoughtfully, in close collaboration with the parents. The activities the children do are extremely varied and interesting (from yoga to baking, to water play and art) and there is usually a weekly theme. The children go outside for fresh air most days which is great - our child usually comes home tired but very happy, and excited to share details of his day.

Our little boy started in November 2021. He is really sensitive and it took him a while to settle but the staff were amazing.
One of the things that is really important to us is flexibility around naps. He still needed a cheeky 10 min morning nap because he was so little and they facilitated that no trouble. I've heard of other nurseries insisting kids are on one nap a day which would have been awful.
The staff are so loving and kind. Our little boy is very attached to both his key worker and buddy key worker.

We also love how much time they spend outside.

Amy Johnston

I have worked at Kids Adventures Prestwich since October 2021. I really enjoy working here and offering a unique, homely environment for our children. I have worked in early years settings for over 13 years, I am level 3 qualified and have previously worked in a range of large nursery settings. My favourite aspects of Kids Adventures are our small, intimate base rooms, where children create secure relationships with the staff and children and thrive off the consistency of care they receive and also, our forest school ethos where children learn outdoors and become confident and resilient individuals before their eventual move to school.

If you are interested in a place for your child/children, I would love to show you around the setting, and discuss your requirements and what we offer.
