Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Newton Heath

My little girl has been going to this nursery for the past year, she is in the preschool room and absolutely loves it. She has come on leaps and bounds socially, emotionally and it has given her the best start to her education in a setting which is welcoming, caring and fun! She has healthy homemade meals every day which she really enjoys, she tries new foods and understands healthy options. The staff there are really attentive and are very flexible in regards to hours and days. The nursery is always keeping you up to date with what she is learning in her room and there are always fun days were she can can get involved in different activities or events. The learning journals are presented beautifully and really well logged. I feel at ease sending her to nursery knowing she will have a good day and that she will be looked after and after all that’s all any parent would want for their child.

My son has been going to Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Newton Heath for around a year now, he loves the nursery and all the girls that look after him. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the girls, they go above and beyond everyday with my son. My son loves coming home after nursery and telling me all about the exciting things he’s done.

Really good nursery, my child loves it. All the staff are helpful and they are friendly. After trying a few different nurseries I am so glad I was able to get my children in, I had no problems and have had both of my children attend this nursery.

My daughter attends this nursery. I decided to put her in nursery during the pandemic and I have to say it’s the best decision I’ve made. I’m a first time Mum and with all baby clubs being closed I felt this would be a good way for my child to interact with other children. My daughters development has come on leaps and bounds. My daughter has a close relationship with her teacher. I’m provided with daily updates on collection. This is provided on paper, I’m able to see what my daughter has done on a daily basis such as how many naps, what food and the amount of nappy changes, as well as what interaction she has had that day. We also as parents get monthly updates about the nursery in general. I also enjoy getting the occasional photo message whilst at work, it gives me reassurance that she’s having a good day but also lovely to see. It’s a Covid-19 safe nursery and extra steps have gone in place to protect my child and the other children in the nursery. The staff have done fantastically being able to open during this challenging time. Friendly staff.

This nursery staff are absolutely amazing, they are lovely and so friendly. My son loves to come here to see the staff in the snowball room. They go out of there way to make sure he has a good day. They helped my son get out of his nappies in September and they go above and beyond to help him. His speech and counting has come on loads since being here with the girls, I can't thank them enough for what they have done with my son. Keep doing a great job girls.

My son started here in September 2020 and has always enjoyed it. I was a bit optimistic when he first started, I didn’t think he would of settled in as quickly as he did but within three days he was totally settled and felt very comfortable. He really likes the staff, they are very friendly and go above and beyond.

My son started this nursery in September 2020, he was welcomed with open arms and settled straight away in comparison to his previous nursery. My son loves attending nursery for all of his four days, he is always extremely happy when coming home from here and always has a fun story about the day to share with me and his other siblings. The staff at this establishment are completely amazing and always go above and beyond to help and support the children and parents. I find the staff very helpful, they are always in communication with the children's parents. I have been superbly happy and content with my son joining this nursery and in ore with the leaps and bounds of progression my son has had and continues to make. I honestly couldn't thank the whole team at nursery enough.

Amazing nursery with amazing staff. There was not even a day when my son would not want to go to the nursery because it is a lot of fun. Staff is amazing and very supportive, they teach to children new stuff every day, develop them in different possible ways - going to the park for a bear hunt, planting vegetables, showing children how chickens hatch and so many more things that I can't even describe. I am extremely happy that my son attends this nursery, very highly recommended.

My daughter’s relationship with her key worker has gone far beyond my expectations. From the time she wakes up in the morning saying her key workers name to watching her run and jump into her arms. It gives me complete assurance that my daughter is in good hands.

My children have started breakfast club here after both attending this setting when they were younger. They are really enjoying the club even ask to go when I don’t need them to. Staff are always happy to welcome them into the setting.

Our son attends this nursery, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the children are well looked after. I would like more updates about what my child's day has been like with either some kind of communication book or a daily sheet and I would like daily observations to be uploaded on the learning diary but that would be my only negative. My son loves the nursery and has a great day with all the activities. I would recommend this nursery as I know my son is well looked after.

I was really anxious when my daughter first started, but staff made me feel so much better and kept me informed all the time. My daughter has really come on since attending this nursery. She was not a great eater and I was really worried about this. The staff worked with me and my daughter is now eating much better.

I would highly recommend this nursery.

Great nursery with caring staff and management. A very cheerful and positive environment and you feel that right from the time you enter the building. Staff and managers are always helpful and address any queries and questions. They keep arranging new activities and sessions to keep the children active. Dietary needs are carefully looked after. All in all a fun learning environment where they don't just take care of the children but also actively look to develop their potential.

My biggest concern was wethered my children would be able to settle and nap there but I had nothing to worry about.

Both our children have attended this nursery. Our son moved here from one of their other settings and the transition was faultless. Our daughters face lights up when she is dropped off each morning. The staff are friendly, approachable and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble and they are happy to implement routine changes or try new things that work at home. They treat each child as individuals and motivate and develop them to their own needs and pace. You get daily sheets that explain the child's day, and the staff have time to discuss this at pick up. The safeguarding and nutrition are spot on. My mum went on a day trip with them to the zoo and said she couldn't fault their organisation and enthusiasm. The staff interact with our son when he comes with us for pickups, and they are eager to know how he is developing since he left for school. You can see how much time the staff invest in their motivation, development and safety of each child. Would highly recommend this nursery.

The children get taken on days out. The staff are lovely and friendly. They are attentive to my child's allergy needs. Standards and targets being met. Will be taking my 2nd born there also.

This nursery is very welcoming the staff are very friendly and always smiling. My son settled very easily here and loves coming he is always very excited to go in the mornings, he comes home and tells me all about his day, he especially loves the football and swimming they do with him, the staff are helpful and always let me know how he has been and if anything has happened throughout the day. I have always felt comfortable leaving him there had no problems at all. A big thank you brighter beginnings staff and keep up the good work wonderful.

Our daughter didn't like to leave my side but the staff made her feel so welcome by using activities and resources they knew she enjoyed to coax her in. She now enjoys going to nursery and I'm confident she will be ready for school in September. She enjoys the weekly dance lessons and has been on several trips during her time here. I have recommended the nursery to several family members and friends who have all been as happy as I am.

My 3yr old granddaughter has been attending here for just over a year. She always tells me excitedly what has happened at nursery on days she attends, she tells me what she has had for lunch and loves the days she goes swimming with the group. Since being there she has turned into a very independent child and has a great vocabulary. I occasionally drop her off there or pick her up and always see her happy on drop off or pick up. Staff have always been polite on my visits and the premises have been very clean on all occasions. It seems a lovely environment and I am confident that any child who attends would be happy and well cared for while there.

Excellent centre with great staff and facilities. I would highly recommend to others as my little girl is progressing greatly and really enjoys going to nursery.
