Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Fallowfield

My daughter loves it here, she is excited to run off to play when I drop her off. She has been going since March 2024 and she settled in well and built a relationship with her key worker quickly. They offer a range of different activities during the sessions both indoors and outside. The meals and snacks are varied to help introduce the children to as many different foods as possible. The staff take the time to talk to parents at drop off and pick up to understand each child's needs and end of day feedback is also great, it is not rushed and nothing is missed. They genuinely love looking after the children and build healthy bonds with each child.

Both of our children have been at Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Fallowfield so we have known them for around five years and through that time (which has included some challenging times!) the team have been consistent in their brilliant care. The nursery is a very warm place and the team cares for the children as individuals. They make sure there are a range of activities and adventures to meet the children where they are that day. We are so grateful to the whole team.

Thank you to all the staff there for helping my daughter over the years, especially one member of staff, in particular, My daughter was none-verbal when she started and with the nursery and this member of staff's help, she is very chatty.

Not sure where to begin trying to put into words how much we love Brighter Beginnings and all of the staff there. Our son has been with the Fallowfield setting since he was just under one and the staff there have helped him (and us!) through every milestone since - nap dropping, potty training, learning to share and to play. As our time at Brighter Beginnings begins to draw to an end we are becoming quite emotional about leaving - all of the staff there are ace, particularly one specific staff member, who is a ray of sunshine and has an amazing emotional intelligence with all the little ones. We have had zero issues with Brighter Beginnings but any first-time parent concerns have always been responded to quickly and reassuringly. The manager is one of the most caring and capable people we've ever met and it is no doubt down to the tight but incredibly fun way she runs her ship that our child has such a brilliant time. He loves going in every day and he's always smiling when he comes out.

My little boy has attended this nursery since August 2022, he really enjoys his time here and has made excellent relationships with the staff. The staff are amazing and went above and beyond to make sure he was settled and happy. Every night, I receive excellent feedback as to how his day has been. My little boy loves being outdoors and they have an outstanding forest school which he enjoys exploring. He often comes home telling me what he has done in the day and all about his friends he has made.

The nursery has open days in the year for families to see, first-hand, the lovely bond and setting the children have with staff who know all the children across the setting. The rooms are lovely, age-appropriate environments, with a variety of fantastic external play and learning spaces. My eldest loves going to forest school and still talks about a nursery excursion last year.

I couldn't be happier with Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Fallowfield. My son has absolutely thrived and loves his time here. The staff are amazing and he has formed really close bonds with everyone who looks after him. I'm always so impressed by what he has learnt and his speech is amazing. I'm currently pregnant with my second child and have already signed them up. The nursery manager is amazing and always available if you need her. The staff are all wonderful, kind and caring - makes it very easy to leave him in the morning when I go off to work. Wouldn't consider ever using a different nursery now.

The outdoor facilities are good and an emphasis on learning from nature is welcomed - particularly difficult to find in inner-city nurseries.

My son has been at this nursery for almost a year and we have been continually impressed by the commitment of the staff to our child's development and wellbeing. The evening handover never feels rushed and the staff always take the time to tell you all about the day they have had so you are kept fully informed. My child has a great bond with his key worker and other members of the team and loves his days at nursery. The nursery setting itself is lovely. Bright, spacious, with great outdoor spaces, including the lovely forest school area that was finished this year. I highly recommend!

By far the best nursery in the area.

My daughter went to the nursery 5 years ago and had the best time. My son is there now and having an equally amazing experience. The staff are so caring and welcoming to both children and parents. I am so pleased with the different activities that the children take part in and the experiences they have. I would absolutely recommend the nursery.

My little girl always comes home telling me about everything she has done in the day. I love the fact they are outside as much as possible.

Our daughter has been attending Brighter Beginnings Fallowfield since September 2020 and it has been a great thing for our family. She made a strong bond with her first primary worker, a wonderful woman who deserves all my respect and trust. My daughter recently graduated to the 'middle group' and I am told has settled very well. This nursery has a wonderful outdoors facility with lots of things to keep the physical development and imagination of our children growing, including a wooden pirate ship, lots of ducks that my daughter loves to feed, a well-kept tricycle track and lots of tricycles to go with it, and other usual nursery things. Speaking of animals (the ducks!), I believe they also have a rabbit named Snowflake, and some fish. Management is caring and competent. Outstanding upper management too, who listen, are kind and compassionate. My daughter is happy with the food, but we tend to eat a bit greener at home. Overall, this nursery has earned our trust and respect!

We are new to the UK. When my daughter joined the nursery one and a half years back, I had a lot of apprehensions. But our experience has been magical. It is such a supportive place with a lot of focus on each child's needs. All the carers are so committed and dedicated. My daughter loves going to the nursery. I don't have to worry about my kid's safety when I go to work. I know that she is with the best team possible. And, they have so many interesting activities to keep the children busy. There is a lot of focus on holistic development. Hygiene wise they are exemplary. They even offer so much individualised support with potty training, meal requirements etc. Soon, we have to move cities due to professional reasons. I and my husband worry about how we will ever find a nursery as good as this for her. Five stars for Brighter Beginnings!

My child settled into Brighter Beginnings beautifully! He is so happy. He obviously went through the initial upset stage, but this was over amazingly quickly. The staff have always been helpful and nurturing. When I leave my son in the morning he skips in, and I'm able to go to work knowing he's having a great time. We also love to see their ducks waddling around the play area.

My little boy loves going to nursery, soon as I say the word he gets himself ready and is always excited to go. He loves to ring the bell and waits excitedly to see which member of staff is going to greet him, he gives me a wave and a kiss goodbye and then goes off to his room to see his friends. When it comes time for me to collect him his key worker always has loads of things to tell me about how his day has been going, she will tell me what he's eaten throughout the day. His key worker also tells me about what activities they have planned for the week and they always sound exciting, I know that my little boy is always learning new things and is engaged in the activities. The nursery manager is always on hand to help me if I need anything she's very friendly and approachable and when I speak to her she's always happy to have a chat and keep me informed on the latest things happening at nursery. All of the staff are amazing at their job and I can tell they really care about the children.
