Kids Planet Astley Bridge

Very nice and supportive staff, the environment is welcoming. I am sure my daughter is well taken care of. The staff are very friendly and they respond to parent's questions appropriately and kindly. I will surely recommend.

Such a lovely little nursery. My son has really enjoyed his time so far which was a huge relief for us after struggling to find the right place for him. His learning and development has come on massively in his short time here and he’s always happy to tell us about his day.

Staff always happy, warm and welcoming. My child learns a lot whilst at nursery and tries loads of fun new activities, arts and crafts and playing every day. The food is always healthy and gives my daughter a chance to try new foods we may not make at home. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been going to Kids Planet since April this year. It took her a while to settle in but she seems to like it now. They send me photos of her playing which I love. The food she eats always seems to be a good variation. They update the app of what my daughter has had to eat, sleep, play etc. The only thing I would say is I would prefer for a camera to be at the front door so staff can see who’s at the front door before opening so that if they're not sure who it is they can speak to them through an intercom system rather than just opening the door to them. Other than that, my daughter seems happy here.

My daughter has been at Kids Planet Astley Bridge since January 2023 and we have been so pleased with all the staff, my child’s development and how the nursery staff accept feedback. My child is thriving and so happy in her setting and any minor issues we’ve had, we have been comfortable to voice to the relevant staff. The team are attentive to my child’s needs and we have worked collaboratively when encouraging a certain new skill for my daughter i.e.: when we have been working on learning shapes at home and mentioned this to her key worker, they have encouraged it during her nursery days and we feel she has learnt the skill much quicker. The staff are always friendly and happy to help and we would highly recommend this nursery. My daughter had been at a different nursery for 4 months prior to starting at Kids Planet and there is just no comparison!

Staff are very friendly and made me feel very comfortable leaving my young baby in a nursery setting for the first time. She always comes home smiley and happy and I am very confident knowing she is being well looked after.

My child has been attending Kids Planet for seven months now and has come on so much, she really enjoys her time here and has made lots of friends. The staff are very professional, helpful and very kind and each morning my child shouts 'yay' when she arrives, which says how much she loves it. She is developing further than I believe she would due to this nursery. I would recommend Kids Planet to anybody.

My child has attended this setting since he was a baby and he has thoroughly enjoyed his time here and is always happy, safe and comfortable. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The staff are always polite, chatty and friendly and are easy to approach with any questions or concerns. The staff take great pride in their care and the children are well looked after and nurtured. The food is nutritional and they have a wide variety and the children are always up to something fun! The only suggestion I have is family often collect my child and they do not know who they have spoken to, so perhaps name badges or an introduction to staff as there seems to be a few new faces. The only real complaint I have is any admin issues like invoices or amendments, anything that requires a timely response is a long drawn-out process and I often end up going directly to try to resolve it as I have minimal response via email. Overall, this nursery is a good nursery and I would recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, my son loved every minute of his journey there. I knew he was safe, cared for and happy! All the staff are amazing, friendly and approachable. The best decision was to send my son there.

My daughter has attended this nursery for the last 3 years and has loved every minute. At each stage of her development, I have been informed about what they are doing to help her achieve her milestones and the staff go above and beyond to look after my daughter. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

I have a very good experience. Staff are so friendly and helpful with any problems or questions. So good with the children. When we arrive at nursery, the staff have big smiles on their faces.

My child has been coming to nursery since March, the transition to coming to nursery at a very young age (5 months) has been smooth. Thank you to the baby room for settling my child in and making it bearable for me to go back to work. My child has come on so much, sitting up and clapping, she loves coming to the nursery. Thank you to all staff in the baby room for looking after her.

My son has been attending Kids Planet since September 2021. When he first started he was very shy and clingy. He has come out of his shell massively and is learning so much thanks to the staff. All the staff are amazing, especially the girls in the baby room who take care of him. They are so kind and caring to him, and he always goes into nursery with a smile on his face knowing he is happy there and well taken care of makes it so much easier to leave him. Thank you.

Always welcomed on arrival. Staff are caring. I know my little one is well looked after. If I have any questions they are more than happy to help. Excellent service.

Our child seems to enjoy being in nursery and does not hesitate to go in when we drop him off. We are kept up to date through the parent app and it is a joy seeing evidence of his great time at nursery. He is also learning and displays his new knowledge when he comes home. The staff are also quite happy to give a verbal update of the day's events inspite of having an app so I am grateful for that.

Since taking over the nursery has improved with slightly better management but staff coming and going is confusing for children.

We are very happy that we found Poppy & Jacks for our daughter to attend. It has a lovely, warm, and inclusive atmosphere, and our daughter has made strong and secure attachments and relationships with all of the staff members. She loves to go to see all of her friends and is particularly fond of her key-worker. We find that our relationship with her key-worker is very helpful as she is an absolute star and is always willing to listen to any issues on which we might need advice. She is very attentive to our daughter's needs and development and we have confidence in the care and education she is receiving. We feel it is setting her up well for onward education settings. I would happily recommend the nursery to family and friends and indeed have done so leading to our daughter's cousin now attending based on our recommendation to his parents.
