St George's Nursery (Sherwood)

Since joining the pre-school earlier this year, our daughter has been loving her time at St George’s. As parents we are very happy with the care provided; it is a warm and friendly nursery, and we have complete trust in the team’s care of our child. Communication is very good and our daughter has connected really well with her key people. There is a wonderful outdoor garden as well as dynamic indoor spaces for learning and playing. We’re very happy and would highly recommend.

My daughter has attended here for over 2 years and the quality of care and education is excellent. The staff are wonderful - professional but friendly and you can see the positive relationships with the children. The facilities are good, as is the variety of food on offer (my child is vegetarian and she is offered a decent alternative daily). I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery.

My child has been at St George's Sherwood for about 4 months now and it's been a great experience so far. The staff has always been supportive and given the best of care to my child. They also include several outdoor activities which my child enjoys. I will highly recommend them.

My daughter is always happy to be at the nursery and she is always having lots of fun! As a mum, I feel very safe to leave her there every day knowing she is in a safe environment where she can play and learn!

She's entering her last few months before moving off to foundation school next summer. She'll miss the place.

Fantastic nursery. My granddaughter has grown so much with the help of her teachers. She loves going to school and loves all her teachers. Every day she learns something new or has explored something. Nursery keeps you up to date with how your child is doing and how their day went. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My stepson comes to this nursery, and the staff are very friendly. My stepson has settled in really well and has made a lot of new friends. The new app is very helpful for me and my stepson's Dad to see what he is getting up to at nursery and how he's doing with his meals and toileting. Love seeing the photos of how happy he is and how much he's learning and developing.

Our son settled really well and always comes home happy and tied.

Excellent provision. My child is now walking, talking and learning very quickly due to the encouragement of the nursery. The communication is also very clear from the staff, which is really important for us - I couldn’t recommend the team more!

Wonderful facilities. They really do have all the facilities any parent would expect. The staff really does care about the children and goes above and beyond to pay attention. Thank you for looking after my little one.

I help my daughter with pickups, and the nursery now looks more well-kept, and the staff seem to care more.

The best nursery in my opinion! Both my sons love it here, and the staff can't do enough to accommodate you. The staff are lovely and brilliant with the children - everyone always makes you feel very welcome and I've always felt like I've been kept up-to-date with the children's progress. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

My daughter has been at EduCare for 2 years now and in that time I've seen her grow in confidence and spirit. The team here are so wonderful and treat her like the individual she is. I've only ever had praise for them, especially the way the interact and engage with the children. She's so happy here and that's the best review a nursery can have.

My daughter has settled well, she loves the staff and I've had the pleasure of watching her play and interact with the staff and other children on mother and daughter day and can see that she is happy and confident being there.

Any issues I've had have been sorted out quickly and resolved with patience. I can see from her behaviour that she has learnt so much and love seeing her picture and reports.

In the early days when she first started at 8 months, I rang every day to check on her and staff were patient and understanding.

My son has been coming to EduCare Day Nursery since he was 8 months old. On the whole, they are a brilliant nursery and have sorted any issues quickly and professionally. It's great that they are flexible with a shift pattern making it ideal to work with my husband's shifts.

I have been really pleased with Educare as a nursery for our son. The staff are all really friendly and caring, knowing my child and help him develop his skills and confidence. He continues to flourish in this environment. I like the fact that the children get to do plenty of creative play such as painting and exploring different textures and types of material and that they have a good outdoor/garden space. It would be nice to be able to see a few photos of group activities which we don't currently and also if a few more trips out were organised during the year.
