St. George’s Nursery is a family-run, award-winning childcare provider with over 30 years of experience caring for and educating young children. The nursery continues to uphold the same values of care, trust and community that began its journey.

With nurseries in Leicester: Aylestone, Enderby, Narborough, Oadby, Meridian Business Park and Bobblewood, and in Nottingham: Sherwood and Hucknall, St. George’s creates safe, happy spaces where children can learn, play and grow.

The nurseries care for children from 3 months to 5 years old, providing a nurturing environment where every child can flourish. They build strong partnerships with parents and take pride in their involvement within the local community, maintaining close links with those around them.

Children enjoy a wide variety of fun and educational activities, from yoga and sports to outdoor exploration and creative play. The long-standing, qualified staff are dedicated to supporting each child’s development, happiness and learning. My daughter is always happy to be at the nursery and she is always having lots of fun! As a mum, I feel very safe to leave her there every day knowing she is in a safe environment where she can play and learn!

Excellent place. My daughter has fun all day every day. The staff are great. Plenty of parent updates and always available to answer any questions you may have.
She's entering her last few months before moving off to foundation school next summer. She'll miss the place.

We find the nursery staff kind, considerate and caring. Sherwood has a ‘homely’ vibe about it, and our daughter loves her time there.
When St George’s took over, we had some confusion/difficulty with the payment system that led to us potentially being fined - we managed to communicate our difficulties
to the manager, and our problems were sorted.
A big thanks to everyone that works there.

Fantastic nursery. My granddaughter has grown so much with the help of her teachers. She loves going to school and loves all her teachers. Every day she learns something new or has explored something. Nursery keeps you up to date with how your child is doing and how their day went. I would highly recommend

My stepson comes to this nursery, and the staff are very friendly. My stepson has settled in really well and has made a lot of new friends. The new app is very helpful for me and my stepson's Dad to see what he is getting up to at nursery and how he's doing with his meals and toileting. Love seeing
the photos of how happy he is and how much he's learning and developing.

It was really nice that the nursery has new management, and the team seems to be a little more organised now.

The best nursery in my opinion! Both my sons love it here, and the staff can't do enough to accommodate you. My daughter has been at EduCare for 2 years now and in that time I've seen her grow in confidence and spirit. The team here are so wonderful and treat her like the individual she is. I've only ever had praise for them, especially the way the interact and engage with the children. She's so happy here

My daughter has settled well, she loves the staff and I've had the pleasure of watching her play and interact with the staff and other children on mother and daughter day and can see that she is happy and confident being there.


Any issues I've had have been sorted out quickly and resolved with patience.

I can see from her behaviour that she has learnt so much and love seeing her picture and reports.


In the early days when she first started at 8 months, I rang every day to check on her and staff were patient and understanding.

My son has been coming to EduCare Day Nursery since he was 8 months old. On the whole, they are a brilliant nursery and have sorted any issues quickly and professionally. It's great that they are flexible with a shift pattern making it ideal to work with my husband's shifts.

I have been really pleased with Educare as a nursery for our son. The staff are all really friendly and caring, knowing my child and help him develop his skills and confidence. He continues to flourish in this environment. I like the fact that the children get to do plenty of creative play such as painting
and exploring different textures and types of material and that they have a good outdoor/garden space. It would be nice to be able to see a few photos of group activities which we don't currently and also if a few more trips out were organised during the year.

Little child joined a couple months ago, really pleased with everything. Excellent service, staff and managers really go out of the way to help and make sure everything is perfect and my needs have been met.


Was a little nervous about sending my child to nursery as I would rather him be looked after

by me or my wife, but I'm really pleased with the results especially in the short period of time. His behaviours, as well as intelligence, has improved by a lot. He is a lot more well behaved and is a pleasure to take out in public now!


Really impressed with Educare, can't thank them enough. The best nursery I've visited, so glad my child is there. I'm excited to see what he's learnt today!

What a lovely nursery, we are so lucky to find this total gem on Pelham Road. We have two children one a baby and in the Pre-School room. EduCare started us off with a few free supervised visits to get them slowly used to it. This really helped me and their dad feel more at ease. Our children have come
on immensely since joining, the staff are warm, friendly and so helpful. They work tremendously hard playing, nurturing and caring for all the children in their care. When we collect both children the staff ensure that we know as much as possible about their day and anything they feel is a real importance to us. They kindly give me calls to make me aware if either child is feeling unwell or if they feel that one of the children needs to visit the doctor, which I personally find very helpful. The management team are excellent the manager is very welcoming and will offer us support whenever we needed it.

I started my journey in early years just over 15 years ago!


I have an open degree where I mainly focused on early years but also did a year in primary education and did research studies that also focused on childhood studies. I have my forest schools’ level 3, level 3 in speak and language and I’m also an accredited language lead.


I have so many favourite moments working with children it would be hard to choose. One of the things I enjoy the most is when you make incredible relationship with the children and know their individual personalities, so you can tailor their experience to meet their needs and make it fun and exciting.


Another element I love about working with children is when you support them and see them achieve their goals, developmentally or even just like this week when a child was very nervous about using the climbing frame. The child needed lots of help and reassurance from me to use the climbing frame, to then getting up on it by themselves and then completing it with little help and watching them smile and be proud of their own achievement.


I think what attracted me to work in nurseries stemmed all the way from my early childhood. I have very positive memories from when I was in nursery and loved my nursery teachers. I then went on to do my work experience in early years settings and loved it! I suppose I wanted to be that teacher (miss honey) and give children the best early years’ experience where they are nurtured and can grow into the best little people they can be.
