Partou Radcliffe Road Day Nursery & Pre-school has a well-earned reputation as the leading provider of childcare in West Bridgford, offering outstanding care to children aged 3 months to 5 years and are open from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday - Friday, for 51 weeks of the year (closed during Christmas week).

Located on Radcliffe Road close to West Bridgford town centre and 2 miles from Nottingham Railway Station, the nursery enjoys the benefits of a large character property with airy rooms and an outdoor play area, which the children love and thrive in.

There are separate rooms for babies, toddlers, 2-3 year olds and Pre-School children, furnished with 'age appropriate' toys and resources, ensuring they provide the best standard of care, development and education.

Our daughter has been very well cared for. The staff are friendly and very engaged. There is clearly a very good relationship between our child and the staff who have been very attentive to our daughter's needs. Essentially the staff have become like an extension of the family. Choosing where to send your baby to nursery when returning to work is really hard, but the staff at Radcliffe Road helped me feel at ease from the start. Our little boy settled quickly and it's clear that he loves his key worker and the other staff as much as they love him. We love finding out what
he's been learning via tapestry, and it's great seeing him turn into a confident, happy, social little boy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Radcliffe Road, in fact, we already have.

My son started at nursery at 3 months as myself and my husband own businesses. For this, I was under a lot of criticism form family, friends and peers. However, this nursery made me feel at ease and have been brilliant taking care of m son. He loves the nursery and all of the staff. Both myself and

My one-year-old boy started at Radcliffe Road Nursery in October of this year and seems to love it. From the minute we pull up in the car park he gets so excited.
The staff are all really friendly and make an effort to chat at drop off and pick up time. I always feel that they give me a good update
of how he has been during the day. Moreover, it’s obvious that my son has formed a great bond with the staff as he is always giggling with them and so happy to go to them in the mornings.
The facilities are fantastic, loads of variety of play equipment and everything always appears really clean. They seem to have a good varied menu and I think that it must taste good as my boy eats pretty much all of it.
I’m so happy that we have chosen this nursery, it’s lovely to know that while I am busy at work my son is having a fun and happy time.

My 16-month-old daughter has been attending Radcliffe Road Day Nursery for approximately 3 months. Having viewed nine nurseries, Radcliffe Road stood out by far. My husband and I are delighted with all aspects of the nursery and most importantly, so is our daughter! She settled in immediately. She adores
the staff who clearly adore her too! She smiles and waves as soon as she sees them in the mornings, which fills me with great confidence in leaving her, so I can relax and get on with my day. The menu selection is excellent, both nutritious and varied. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending Radcliffe Road and we are over the moon with the results.

My daughter has attended this nursery for nearly 2 years and she loves it. I feel she has developed hugely in the last year in every aspect with the support of the nursery staff. The staff are very friendly and all engage with my daughter, myself and my husband. The nursery have introduced the use of

We are really pleased with Radcliffe Road Nursery and have had a fantastic experience with our eldest child. My children are extremely happy and feel safe and content at Radcliffe Road Day Nursery. They always seem to have had an excellent day and find them happy and laughing. All staff is caring and loving and make every child feel special. When you see them working they look like they enjoy their job a lot
and that they care a lot for the children. The facilities are really looked after and overall is a great place to be.

My two year old started this nursery in August after having moved to Nottingham from abroad. She was extremely anxious about starting nursery, especially having experienced such change. However, her experience has been amazing. The staff are professional and exceptionally caring.
My daughter loves
going to nursery, which I cannot believe. Feedback about her development is lovely and her relationships with her teachers is too. Couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough!

The nursery staff have all been fantastic, everyone is so inclusive. It is like having an extended family for our son.
He has enjoyed every minute of nursery and I'm sure he will miss going. We are sad that nursery has come to an end but it has given our son the best possible start to a great future.

Radcliffe Road Day Nursery has exceeded our expectations in every way. I don't usually write reviews but I thought they were worth one. Both of my children have been to the nursery and both love/loved it. We have had other experiences of other nurseries and they don't compare. One of my children has
serious allergies, this was dealt with very well within the nursery by the management and the staff. The management and staff are excellent and very empathetic to any needs or concerns you may have. They make sure that they really get to know your child. My children left home happy and came home happy every day. I highly recommend this nursery!

I cannot rate this nursery more highly. The staff are wonderful. It feels like you are leaving your children with close friends. My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time there. I love how all the staff say hello to him and call him by name when he walks through the building to Magic Attic.
He has been
tenderly looked after and nurtured. I am pleased his younger sister still has a few more years there, as I am not ready to say goodbye to everyone yet.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 1997

I am N.N.E.B. qualified and I have worked at Radcliffe Road and Scotts Wood Day Nursery (our sister nursery) for 17 years. Initially, I helped set up and open Scotts Wood Day Nursery in 1997 followed in 2000 by the opening of the Radcliffe Road site.


With the help of an excellent staff and management team, we have created nurseries with an excellent reputation that are well known throughout the local area. Being a parent of four children myself, I aspire to provide the very best care and Early Years education available. I love my job and the opportunity to be surrounded daily by children, their parents and our wonderful staff.
