The Secret Garden provides high-quality childcare within a warm, friendly 'home from home' setting.

They have a team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff who tailor every activity to the development of each individual child. This ensures the development of every child to their full potential through fun and stimulating play, making confident, happy children.

The children progress through the West Bridgford nursery from the Ladybirds room (babies), Butterflies room (toddlers), Dragonflies, Honeybees and Bumblebees (pre-school).

A private garden to the rear with a dedicated area for the babies means that the children are outdoors enjoying nature and physical activities on a daily basis and a free flow system means that at certain times, children can choose to play indoors or outdoors.

Each child has a key person in each room, enabling the staff to form a strong bond with every child and to get to know them extremely well.

Secret Garden Childcare is a small, family-run business with a focus on nature and the environment. They focus on using natural materials and accessing the outdoor environment to maximise learning opportunities.

Extra-curricular activities include French lessons and forest school for the pre-school children, regular walks to the local park, shops and feeding the ducks, taking full advantage of local opportunities for learning about the world.

No learning opportunity is lost; even a rainy day can make for a fun learning activity, kitted out with wellies, brollies and waterproofs!

I have sent all my children to The Secret Garden Nursery. The staff are so caring and nurturing that it has always made returning to work after the maternity leave process go so well.
I love the outdoor space so the children get lots of fresh air and all the crafting activities and painting opportunities
they have. The preschool year is great for focusing on the skills the children need so they are ready for school. The management team are always prepared to go out of their way to assist and keep us informed.

Can’t recommend it enough. My little boy (2yo in Butterflies) genuinely cheers as we arrive many mornings, runs in happily and has a great time (he is happy to see me at home time - I think!) The staff are all great - fun, caring and smiley - with endless ideas for fun activities. He loves the food
and I can relax knowing that he’s in safe hands.

Choosing this nursery for our daughter was the best decision ever, she loves it! Everything has been perfect since day 1, all staff are very friendly and supportive, there’s also good communication with parents. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of nursery. My daughter is thriving and absolutely loves her time here. All of the staff are friendly, supportive and really care about making the nursery the best place for the children. I love that the staff understand the needs of my daughter and endeavour to

My two boys have been attending Secret Garden for just over a year now, and they have really flourished during this time.
All the staff are friendly, caring and supportive. It's extremely reassuring to know that my boys are in a safe, kind and caring environment.
After every session they both come
out very excited from their fun-filled day at nursery. It's very obvious that they've had a great time!
I was a bit worried about the transition when the boys moved up to their next room. However, my worries were soon dismissed as the staff ensured that the boys were supported as they settled into their new rooms.
Communication with the nursery and staff is brilliant! We are kept up to date with the children's daily activities, what the menu is for each week and informed of any upcoming events.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Secret Garden.

The Secret Garden is a wonderful nursery and we are so pleased that we chose it for our son, who has been attending for almost two years, since he turned one.
It has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and the staff really go above and beyond. They are extremely kind and caring, and we have really appreciated
their efforts to ensure that our son feels happy and settled.
Communication is excellent and we always feel well informed, both in person and via the app, which shows photos at the end of the day, which we always look forward to seeing.
Would highly recommend the nursery and its staff to other parents.

We have had a fantastic experience at The Secret Garden Private Day Nursery, our daughter loves it there and is always eager to return the next day. We receive regular updates throughout the day and receive end-of-day feedback. They take special care with our daughter's development and always update
her profile when she does something new. We receive the artwork that our child has done throughout the week and get photos of her activities of the day on the app in the afternoon.
Overall, extremely happy with the caring service that all the staff provide at this nursery.

My son really enjoys his time at nursery, he likes that the staff encourage sharing, he enjoys the meals too, these are nutritious and menus are updated and shared with parents a week ahead of time. He adores the staff and the key workers in his room, he really enjoys the music sessions too.
The Secret
Garden Private Day Nursery is a nursery that I have trusted with looking after and nurturing my children, over a period of years, and I am more than happy to provide a review that reflects the work that the nursery provides.
I am able to approach any member of staff and I am made to feel welcomed every time. The use of the app allows me to reach out on a different platform and I always receive a response within a prompt time. I get regular updates on my child’s progress and his achievements are recorded too.
It’s a lovely insight into his day and then I’m able to ask him questions about his learning.

The Secret Garden is a really lovely nursery, and I feel relaxed knowing my children are being so well looked after by the kind and caring staff.
In my opinion, the staff go above and beyond, and my children have always been happy to attend.

We have two children at The Secret Garden Private Day Nursery (West Bridgford) and we absolutely love the home-from-home atmosphere that the setting provides. Our children have different needs, though both high energy, and the staff and nursery cater for both of them amazingly. The children's development
is always enabled with fun and nurturing activities focused around play and social interaction. The relationships that they foster with the staff and other children are wonderful.
The nursery is also extremely supportive towards us, as parents/carers. Flexibility and understanding are two words I would use to describe how we are looked after but also compassionate. I genuinely feel that my children are loved here, not just another child that attends the setting.

The Secret Garden is an amazing nursery!
My oldest started his journey when he was 3 and I couldn’t have picked a better nursery for him to attend!
All parents worry about leaving their child daily, especially with other people but my worries disappeared immediately!
The team are absolutely amazing!

The Secret Garden nursery is an absolute godsend. I adore the setting and all the staff. My daughter is always so excited to go and, when I pick her up, she is absolutely buzzing! They take so much care and attention and really do love the children. I have never felt more secure leaving my daughter
in someone else’s care. The day she leaves for school will be a very sad one! Thank you so much for making the morning run an absolute breeze!
