This Paper Moon Day Nursery is a purpose built nursery with a bright and modern interior that enables children to learn in a caring environment. All early years practitioners are highly-trained and committed to quality care and education, assisted by a large outdoor play area, meals freshly prepared on site and a biometric security system.

Key EYFS objectives are adopted, as the team look to help set the building blocks for life. There is a focus on getting to know each individual, made possible by a key worker system that allows the team to respond to any specific needs and keeps parents up-to-date with progress.

My son goes to Paper Moon Compton Acres and has since he was 1 year old. He loves being there but is always upset when he is dropped off. We recently had a fantastic Halloween party that seems to have made him less apprehensive at drop off and have noticed how different he is between staff and us.
This
evening party was such a fantastic idea on behalf of the staff and they all put so much effort into it.
We look forward to them being able to do more events like this out of hours and giving the children more of a chance to interact with their parents within the nursery.

Our son has been attending the nursery for just over 2 years, so has gone through each of the stages and is now in pre-school. He loves it and so do we. (To the extent that he looks disappointed when we collect him!). The staff are all so lovely and are encouraging of the little personalities. The activities
they do are varied and ready the children for their later years. The food is great and our son certainly eats well there (I feel hungry when reading the updates!).


The recent change in the app has made it feel much more interactive and like more of a community with other parents which is lovely. It’s been great for a while but there’s a definite step change in energy with the new manager. A recent Halloween party for example surpassed all expectations.


I’d definitely recommend the setting for any parents starting to look around at nurseries.

Both of our girls attend Papermoon and we cannot be any happier. The staff are attentive, funny, caring and have built relationships with all the kids and their families.
The impact of the new management is quite visibly lately as well as the team has been smashing it!

What a fantastic nursery.
Our boys are new to the nursery and have been made to feel so welcome.
So far very impressed with the staff in regards to their care, affection and professionalism. Good communication to parents, although the app can be clunky.
What is appreciated is staff can verbally give
you a full run down of your child's day and give a personal perspective of your child. So happy we have joined Paper Moon.

Not much I can say really, just a really good nursery. My child goes between 2 to 3 days a week and always comes home happy every time. Any issues, they don't hesitate in phoning me and any questions I have they will answer. All staff are nice and helpful too.

My son has been at Paper Moon for just over 3 years. They are wonderful with him. He just loves going there and every day he has a fab day and comes out smiling and asks when he gets to go again.
All the staff are great, they know the children individually and nothing is ever too much trouble. I'm
sad that he will be leaving in the summer to start school!

Great range of activities indoors and outdoors. My 3yr old son is enjoying his time in the nursery. Carers look after him well (emotionally and physically), and keep us informed well with his progress and daily activities. My son is also really enjoying the food served in the nursery.

The nursery is exceptionally supportive of my child's additional needs (down syndrome). The individual care and compassion they demonstrate is outstanding. They work very hard on ensuring my daughter is included in activities with her peers. Their efforts have ensured she has developed to the best of
her abilities and celebrate all her achievements. The staff take a collaborative approach working closely with myself and external professionals involved in her care. All the staff are friendly and approachable and make every effort to hand over a detailed review of my child's day. Even the chef is one of my daughter's best friends! I would highly recommend this nursery!

Friendly and dedicated staff of Paper Moon Day Nursery Compton Acres makes this place special. They always take good care of children and come to parents with many different solutions regarding family’s needs.


Our daughter is a bilingual kid and she is making huge progress in English since she started

the nursery. Moreover, she is always willing to go there which means she is happy.

We have had great experiences with Paper Moon Day Nursery over the last 18 months. My daughter has moved through rooms and always enjoys going to nursery. The daily activities vary and they supply very regular food. My daughter looks forward to her two days at nursery and has made many friends since
starting. We are kept up to date each day via Tapestry and this system has been very easy to use. We have regular updates regarding her learning and updates.

It is probably one of the best if not the best nursery in the area. My child has got the support and attention he requires also staff uses a person-centred approach with children. The food there is of the highest quality and despite my child being picky he most of the times eats all of it. The staff
is approachable and shows respect. Also not forgetting COVID-19, the nursery has put in place all appropriate measures to be and to feel safe for children and parents.

My daughter is always extremely well looked after and loves the staff. Everyone there knows my daughter and knows her personality. I can’t praise it enough with how they put your mind at rest and help develop your child. I am so lucky I found a great nursery.

This is our third year with Paper Moon - our daughter has been through all four rooms, and we can't sing its praises enough. The staff are the main reason this nursery is so good: they are so caring and affectionate towards the children. Group activities are created with individual children's interests
in mind, whether it's a Gruffalo tea party (complete with crafts and painting in preparation and Gruffalo theme food!) or a Teddy Bears Picnic. Our daughter's literacy has come on so much in the last two years, and she learns loves the singing they do there. Now she's in pre-school, they are very community focussed, with a nursery council for the kids to share feedback and planned visits to the local retirement home. Thanks to all staff there for creating such a fun and engaging environment.

Wow - what can I say. This is an outstanding nursery with an outstanding staff member who not only nurture the children but allow them to grow into young children with a balanced view of how the world works. Paper Moon make sure each child is treated as an individual whilst encouraged group and team
efforts and does a great job in preparing children for the wider world of School when the time comes. The staff are friendly, approachable and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for looking after both my little boys and helping me shape who they become!
