We chose Longdale for both of our daughters. The staff are very caring, there is a good outside space and lots of activities to keep them entertained. Both girls have thrived at Longdale, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

My daughter attends the Step aheads kids club and thoroughly enjoys every session she attends. Staff are very friendly and always eager to include the children in a wide variety of activities. The activities are of a wide variety i.e trips out to various places and days on site to do arts, crafts and
baking etc.

Fantastic environment for having fun and learning. Our daughter has come on so much, she has been attending the last 9 months and she really enjoys her time here too.

I had heard amazing things about this nursery so when we were looking for childcare we knew we wanted to try Longdale Cherubs first.
We were greeted by the manager and taken around the nursery, all of the staff were very friendly and the children all seemed very settled and happy and were all engaged
in different activities. We were impressed with the outside activities and different activities in each room.
We met the baby room staff and had half an hour talking about our baby and what a average day at nursery would be like. On our next visit, we went to the baby room and our baby girl spent time with the staff whilst we went for a coffee. I was anxious as any parent would be but when we arrived back our baby was so happy and settled, she had drank her milk and had a sleep too. I feel very confident that she will be very settled here. We have already recommended the nursery to our friends and we're very happy we followed our hearts and have definitely chosen the right nursery for us.

Cherubs Longdale has nurtured my son since he was 9 months old. The care and provision offered are second to none! He comes home happy, talking about what he has been doing that day. He thinks lots of the staff that work at Cherubs Longdale often talking about them. Staff are all so caring and nurturing.
Longdale is like our second family.

My son is now 8 years and has been going to Cherubs (Longdale) since the age of 1.
As a baby, Longdale helped my son develop in leaps and bounds. With many learning activities and well experienced staff every day I collected a very happy child and always had lots to tell me as soon as we were in
the car... non stop talking all the way home about the fun things he had done that day.
Now he is at the holiday club and loves it just as much! Especially all the trips and fun games.


Cherubs (Longdale) are a high standard childcare with excellent security and experienced friendly staff. The offer a wide range of activities for any kind of child.


I would highly recommend you take your child here as you will feel your child is very safe and well looked after, giving you a parent the confidence to go to work and enjoy your day with a little rest along the way.

Both of my children attend Longdale Nursery and I cannot pick fault with the place. The staff are always approachable and they give a thorough handover upon collection of our children. The management team are always available too. My youngest daughter settled straight away but my eldest took a long
time to settle.

I have nothing but praise for Longdale Nursery.
My two boys have been going here for 10 months and both have absolutely loved every minute. The facilities are fantastic but the staff are outstanding. My son was rushed to the hospital today and every single member of staff did everything they possibly
could to help at a very frightening time for me. What an incredible team!!

We have received such a high standard of care and support since our daughter started at Longdale two years ago. She has made such progress and is a credit to the staff and setting. We are always informed of her daily activities which are always varied. Longdale always goes above and beyond and we couldn't

Everyone at Longdale is so friendly and so interactive with the children. My 2 year old is excited every time he goes to nursery and always comes home with a smile on his face. If you want your child to have a great start in life then Longdale is the place to go! It's the little extras too- like the
trips out and making cards for father's day and the animals in the fields next door that make a difference. There's so much for the children to get involved in and the flexible pay structure suits us ideally and is not overly expensive.

My lg attends snowdrops. We chose Longdale after visiting many private nurseries. On looking around they had the best balance between what felt like a genuine interest in my lg and establishing a relationship with her and a willingness to work closely with us to keep her routines as close to at home
as possible. Both were key areas for us. 5 months later our lg still goes in a bit quiet but is always jumping up and down and v.happy when we collect her. They have worked hard to ensure her routine is followed which helps her feel settled. We are quite particular about the food she eats as we avoid processed foods and sugar etc. They have always adapted the menu accordingly and never forgotten/given her something we wouldn't at home. All the staff in the room are great, however must mention the senior in the room is particularly great. She is the key adult my lg talks about at home, great attention for detail for the little things that matter to us and I can always tell if she hasn't been in for some reason.

My family have been cared for by everyone at Longdale nursery since my son, aged one, started in the Buttercup room, in the summer of 2011. After being initially unsure about what childcare would be best for him, I have never since doubted my decision to send him and then my daughter to Longdale. They
have provided outstanding care for both my children. I have watched as both children have flourished in their care. They've learnt and developed so much during their time, but what I like about Longdale the most, is that all the staff have loved and cared for them in the way I do. When I'm at work I never worry about whether my children are going to be ok, I know they are. We will continue to see our Longdale friends in school holidays at the holiday club. I cannot recommend this nursery enough for the care of little ones and thank each staff member for all they do for my children.

Staff at Longdale are always very welcoming. My daughter was supported by staff during toilet training on the days she attended nursery which ensured the continuity whilst embracing the change.
My daughter loves the nursery and looks forward to going and playing with her friends.

I would highly recommend Longdale Nursery. My little girl loves going and enjoys her time there (so much so she never wants to leave when I come to pick her up!). The staff are warm, friendly and the kids all seem very happy.
Their outside area is exceptional and my daughter really enjoys playing outside.
There are a wide range of activities for them, both inside and out so they are never bored.

My son used to attend this nursery on a regular basis. Although he is at school full time on the odd occasion I have needed last minute childcare for him after he finishes school in the morning. The setting has always catered for my needs and allowed me to bring him in last minute. The staff are brilliant
and always happy to help. The management team are friendly and also always happy to help if we have any queries. I would Definitely recommend this setting to people.

Longdale have been part of our family for 8 years so it's an emotional time for us now that my youngest will be starting school in September. Both my girls have loved going to Longdale, they've always found a key worker to love in each room, love the outdoor space, the extra activities during term ie

Hello, I'm Rachel - Head of Nursery at Cherubs Longdale. I decided to pursue a career in childcare as I grew up with lots of siblings and family friends. As I grew older, I did lots of babysitting which inspired me to work in childcare. I have always enjoyed working with children and watching them grow and develop.


I have been in childcare for a while now and with Cherubs Nurseries since 2014. I have gained a huge insight into childcare by being fortunate to work at a few Cherubs settings including Cherubs Sutton in Ashfield and Cherubs South Normanton. On a day-to-day basis, I ensure Cherubs Longdale is effectively run by ensuring we provide a high level of care and always putting the children, parents and families at the heart of everything we do.
