The manager and staff were really good at allaying my anxieties at the start by allowing me to visit an extra time and letting me stay in the family room on the settling-in session. The staff are well informed, polite, thorough, caring, communicate well and have obviously bonded well with our daughter. We feel very comfortable with the care provided.

On the days she has nursery, she doesn't hesitate to get out of bed and get ready. She looks forward to it and is so eager to go learn and play and see her friends and key workers in the preschool room. You can tell from the staff how cared for and loved all the children are. I could not imagine entrusting my children with anyone else.
The preschool room is so so beautiful and clean. No rooms in the nursery feel cluttered and/or dirty.
The location of the nursery is ideal and just perfectly laid out. I'm not anxious at all about my child playing outside and being exposed to pollution unlike other nurseries and where they reside.
I must admit that I am very jealous of my child! I wish I went to this nursery! The facilities, education, care and nutrition she is receiving exceeds everything a parent could possibly want for a child to excel and have a head start in life.

I had two children come to the nursery, and they have only been going for a few months, but both have settled in well and enjoy their days at the nursery. Staff are always friendly and give you a full handover face-to-face or on the app.

Leaving your children to work is such a heartwrenching decision but the anguish of this is made so much easier knowing that I am leaving them to be cared for by the staff at Cherubs Longdale. I honestly can’t put into words how amazingly caring they all are and I feel as though I am leaving them with extended family as opposed to just another child care provider. I trust the staff implicitly and have firsthand experience of how vigilant they are in noticing any changes in both my children which they alert me to immediately. Both my children settled so quickly which again is testimony to how brilliant the staff are at tuning in to your child’s needs and finding a way to make them feel comfortable and happy. My eldest daughter was diagnosed as having additional needs in 2019 and once again, the staff not only supported me but have also been willing to do whatever it takes to promote her development. I cannot thank everyone at Cherubs Longdale enough.

I cannot praise the nursery staff highly enough. My son is currently attending and my daughter attended previously. The staff are extremely kind and caring and go above and beyond for the children. Although my son is under 18 months he does some amazing activities at the nursery and you can see from the photographs they provide how much fun he is having. I would highly recommend.

"Hello, I'm Rachel - Head of Nursery at Cherubs Longdale. I decided to pursue a career in childcare as I grew up with lots of siblings and family friends. As I grew older, I did lots of babysitting, which inspired me to work in childcare. I have always enjoyed working with children and watching them grow and develop.
I have been in childcare for a while now, and with Cherubs Nurseries since 2014. I have gained a huge insight into childcare by being fortunate to work at a few Cherubs settings, including Cherubs Sutton in Ashfield and Cherubs South Normanton. On a day-to-day basis, I ensure Cherubs Longdale is effectively run by ensuring we provide a high level of care and always putting the children, parents and families at the heart of everything we do."
