During some very difficult times, the nursery has been exceptional. They have treated our son as one of their own and his physical and cognitive development has been largely thanks to them. The food they provide is excellent and the activities he does are fantastic. Great value for money, especially
offering short days.

Both our children have attended Cherubs Ruddington nursery. Our eldest has special needs, and the team and Cherubs went above and beyond to ensure his needs were met. Our daughter is currently at the nursery and absolutely loves it there. The setting is just lovely, and the team that runs it makes it
feel like a home from home.

My daughter has been at nursery for a year now and the nursery has really helped her grow and develop. She loves her days at nursery. The nursery staff are all friendly. The choice of food is excellent and gives a balanced diet. We are updated regularly through the app and love seeing the pictures of
her having fun.

Terrible experience with this nursery and beware of the hidden fees!
My son attended this nursery for three months (pre-school room) and we had no end of problems, too many to mention here. That bad I've reported them to Ofsted, they are being audited by a funding agency and I'm taking them to court
to claim for compensation after removing my child without notice advising on Fri at 7pm. Poor communication, management and director have no idea what they are doing and don't even know their own policies. Didn't have a nursery manager there for the whole time my son attended. Incorrect invoices sent but nobody at the nursery responds to emails or messages left. Long story but we qualified for 30 hours free funding but were still required to pay full fees, even though they can claim for the funding, they don't.
If you have a job or appointments to go to, beware as you will be late. Was left waiting between 20-30 minute almost every day when picking up my child.

I regularly collect my nephew from this nursery and he is always so excited to tell me about what he has been doing. He will always talk about his friends as well as the staff. The staff are always so kind and caring and will tell me all about his day as well as updating the app. Although I can’t go
in the nursery I can see through the windows and it always looks clean with lots of toys.

The staff are always so happy and smiley yet professional. They show genuine care and compassion for my child and he loves going here. He is always talking about all of the fun and exciting activities that he has done at nursery. He has made lots of new friends and I cannot fault the nursery. I cannot
thank them enough for the support they have offered and I would highly recommend this nursery for anyone looking for childcare.

Both my girls have attended this nursery and loved it, my third is about to start. The staff are brilliant and there is loads of outside space for them to run around in. It’s in a great setting with lots of nature around! It’s also had a great makeover recently!

My daughter started at Cherubs Ruddington in August 2020 at 11months. She has come on leaps and bounds since starting. Not long after her first sessions, she was able to spoon-feed herself, crawl and was saying her first words. It's lovely to see the bond between her and the staff. It's very clear that
she enjoys her days. Although we cannot enter the nursery in the current climate we are informed via the parent's Facebook page and app what the children have been up to. My husband and I are extremely happy with our choice of childcare setting for our child.

This is a lovely nursery. It has thrived under its new ownership and we feel really happy with the way they have updated the setting. The core staff have remained much the same in the five years we have been using the nursery and they are wonderful. We would highly recommend Cherubs Ruddington.

Our little man everyday runs to the door to get the temperature scan done and to get going for the day with Cherubs. He really enjoys time there and a big proof of it is piles of photos Cherubs is providing, where he is always busy and a happy boy. Staff is ensuring kids are always involved in various
development activities, they are also trying their best to use the app to communicate with parents regards any progress made. Staff is always listening, helpful and ensures any reasonable requests from parents are followed.

This is a fantastic nursery. My daughter really enjoys going and she loves the staff who are always so happy, friendly and caring. I am kept well informed both from speaking to staff when dropping off/picking up and through receiving daily diaries which tell me what my daughter has eaten, when she has
slept, the activities she has done and photos of her during the day. I used childminders with my previous children because I wasn’t a fan of nurseries but Cherubs Ruddington has definitely altered my view on nurseries and I am so pleased that I chose to send my daughter there. I would highly recommend them.

Such a lovely, cozy, homely nursery. The girls are so welcoming 0 my little girl loves them. Always something (dancing, painting, cooking, etc) going on.
The staff are always available to have a chat and inform you about your little one's day.
It's a little gem!

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.634)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.634) out of 10 for Cherubs Ruddington is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 19 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 18 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.684 for Cherubs Ruddington is calculated as follows: ( (168 Excellents x 5) + (52 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) + (2 Poors x 2) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 228 Ratings = 4.684
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.95 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Cherubs Ruddington is based on 18 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.95
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 55 number of registered child places is 11, which has been reached with 18 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
