The setting offers nursery care and education for children aged 3 months to 13 years. The nursery provides a spacious setting for children to learn and play, and the large garden areas which are dedicated to each age group, offer opportunities for outdoor play and exercise for children to enjoy in all weathers.
The nursery has three age-appropriate rooms – Buttercups for babies up to the age of 2; Daffodils for children over the age of two; and Sunflowers for children aged 3 and 4. They provide child-centered planning, with activities to promote the children's curiosity. The Hive is the out of school facility which provides a home from home atmosphere for children before and after school and in the school holidays. The holiday club always offers action-packed timetables for children to make new friends and have fun!
The setting offers nutritionally-balanced meals and snacks which are freshly prepared each day on site. Special dietary requirements and allergies are catered for. Children from all backgrounds and abilities are welcomed.

My other daughter has been with Kids Club since the age of 9 months until she left to go to school, with only a short time out after having my youngest daughter, she loves going to breakfast club and being taken to school in the morning. They are an amazing team.

The nursery has the luxury of an inclusion officer who works with children with additional needs who plans and supports the children and families in our care.

Most of the staff are helpful and caring. However, communication has been bad, my daughter's key worker has changed twice, and both times I was not told. The preschool is big and for a shy child, I feel this has been a bit overwhelming for my daughter, but that is personal preference.There has been a lot of staff leaving/shuffling and I feel they need to all get on the same page to have stability for the children.

This is also discussed with parents and the new key person is introduced to the parent.To ensure that children's needs are being met and that staff are deployed correctly there have been necessary changes to accommodate statutory requirements and to enable children to reach their full potential.

At no point are three years olds put into the under twos room. Children under two occupy the upstairs baby room and will come down at the end of the day ready for collection at 6 pm. All children are planned for on an individual basis according to their needs, stage of development and interests.

My child has attended Kids Club from 6 months of age. I was recommended by several parents. I always felt listened to and happy with the service and cost.
Recently, however, there was a lack of communication and warning of price increases due to the Ofsted inspection of inadequate. However, as a result, parents suffered and this has caused a lot of unnecessary anxiety which has unfortunately impacted on the children - which is not what Ofsted set out to do.
As with all nurseries, fees are reviewed annually and this was communicated with parents via letter giving one months notice. Parental feedback was considered and as a good will gesture for existing parents the current fee for pre school children attending holiday club was held at the current rate.

My daughter loves coming to Kids Club. She always settled in both 2's rooms and in pre school, even when off for being poorly. She comes back with no problems, can't fault anything.

My children thoroughly enjoy coming to Kids Club and are really excited in the morning before coming here. The staff are fantastic with the children, very approachable and easy to talk to and always listen to parents needs. I would recommend this nursery to others.

My daughter has learnt a lot through play here and is looking forward to returning in September for her last year before starting school.
