Clarecroft Day Nursery

My daughter surprises me with her development and some of the things she comes out with which the team have taught her.

A brilliant nursery with staff that really care. Communication on what they’ve been up to that day in the nursery is great. Staff are always happy to talk about any concerns. Both my children have gone to this nursery and have loved it! They still talk to my oldest now like he’s part of their family and he loves it! I would highly recommend it.

The nursery has been so supportive of my child's needs and making sure the school is aware. It has been such a comfort to know that the staff care about her well-being and wants her to be happy. It is a lovely and welcoming place that will work with you to support your children. I would always put them forward for a recommendation.

Our son has been attending ClareCroft for nearly 1 year and he has loved it from day 1. Most days at drop off he is so eager to get involved that he usually does not look back or even say goodbye, as he is more interested in getting onto the next adventure in the nursery. The staff are fantastic and have really got to know and understand our son. They provide a wonderful play and learning environment for our son and I would highly recommend ClareCroft to any parent considering placing their child there. We are blessed to have such a fantastic nursery 2 minutes from home.

My daughter mentions nursery and her friends constantly when she isn't there which gives me a lot of confidence that they are being well cared for. We would certainly recommend Clarecroft to other parents.

Amazing nursery, both my girls have been going here for the past 4 years and the team at Clarecroft Day Nursery have been fantastic. They make the girls feel very happy, and relaxed and have made me leaving them much easier. Would 100% recommend it to anyone.

Clarecroft Day Nursery has been brilliant for my four-year-old son. He's been in there for very long days and I thought there would be whinging every morning about going. He bounces in and bounces out, absolutely loves it. They keep him engaged all day, you can tell the staff really care and pay attention to the children and best of all he gets fed (no more Tupperware boxes!) We are so lucky to have this nursery in the village.

My children have been coming to Clarecroft Day Nursery over the last 5 years and they absolutely adore being there. The staff are amazing and are willing to help/support my children in any task. The staff are very knowledgeable and experienced in providing early years care. I recommend the nursery to anyone.

Both of our children currently attend Clarecroft Day Nursery and we all love it! We moved our daughter from another setting that she had been in for 2 years which was a daunting decision to make. The ladies did a fantastic job welcoming her into the preschool and she was fast to adjust to the new setting and routine. Since attending she has flourished and we are so grateful for all they do. Clarecroft feels like a home from home and the ladies really invest in the children's development. Our son is in the baby room and knowing how caring the staff are made it an easy decision to leave him there from 8 months! The staff regularly update the portal which leaves you feeling like you really know what they have been up to that day. We cannot recommend Clarecroft enough!

Both of our children have really flourished through their experiences of Clarecroft Day Nursery and we highly recommend the nursery. The staff are kind, caring, enthusiastic and know the children well. One of our children has additional needs and the nursery has been very accommodating and gone out of their way to ensure inclusivity. We are very grateful for everything they have done to ensure it's possible for our child to attend nursery. We always get plenty of opportunities to speak to staff and receive feedback on the children's development. I particularly like the daily photo so I can see what they're up to!

I cannot recommend Clarecroft Day Nursery enough! My daughter has been attending since February 2022 and absolutely loves her time there. The staff know her so well and she has a real connection with the ladies - so much so that she will often talk about them at home or include them in her role-play games! The nursery itself has great connections with the local community and supports children to transition to school smoothly. They show a great deal of love and care for all the children and give honest feedback on their behaviour and development. My youngest is due to start in November and I can't wait for her to experience nursery with her big sister. I have absolutely no concerns over her being there as I know she will be cared for so well! Clarecroft Day Nursery is a lovely, welcoming nursery that my toddler has loved attending since she was a baby. The staff are friendly and caring, creating entertaining and educational age-appropriate activities to make each day fun. The parent portal provides a good level of detail about my daughters progress and what she's been up to, and staff are efficient and helpful via phone and email too. The home cooked food offered is varied and has helped my little one explore new tastes. Our second baby will be attending Clarecroft too and we are happy she will be in knowledgeable and caring hands.

Both of my children have gone to Clarecroft Day Nursery. I feel the preschool helps children merge into the infant school with ease. The staff are so friendly and informative, they are happy to help at any opportunity they can. At the end of the day, we get a formal handover. Using the parent portal throughout the day keeps me up to date with my child's progress also. I would recommend this nursery to anyone in the village, 100 times over.

A fabulous nursery with the most caring staff. I could not have placed my children in better childcare, I have such peace of mind leaving them in the hands of the Clarecroft staff. The staff really go above and beyond to meet the needs of the children. The food is freshly cooked on-site and varied! My son often talks about how yummy his lunch was. The activities they do on a daily basis are varied and keep the children engrossed in sensory play. Both my children were extremely happy at Clarecroft and I would highly recommend it!

My daughter absolutely loves Clarecroft Day Nursery! After a flexible settling in period we very quickly felt at ease with her key person, all the staff, and how well we knew she would be cared for and this didn’t disappoint. The staff know her very well and are always informative about what she has been up to along with tales about her characteristics. The parent portal is also great. We love seeing photos of her busy during the day along with day to day info such as foods and sleeps. The termly reports and bulletins are also great and help us keep on track of what’s happening at the nursery. Nanny really loved the recent Jubilee picnic. We honestly can’t thank all the ladies enough and wouldn’t go anywhere else! X

We are just so happy with our experience of Clarecroft Day Nursery. They have been so supportive in settling our 1 year old into the nursery and continuing to support our 3 year old as she transitions to preschool. They really seem to care about the children and listen/support parents. Thank you!

Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindsets. It’s wonderful seeing our daughter SO excited about going to Clarecroft Day Nursery each morning. The staff really make an effort to engage the children in a range of activities, supporting each child in developing in an individualised way. The management and team are really committed to providing a safe, fun and loving environment. Their communication is great, I never feel like I am unable to reach out if I have any queries or concerns. The Parent Portal is a very useful tool where you can view what your child has been up to throughout the day (meals, sleep, nappy changes) and you can expect at least one photo a day to be shared and other great uses too for example adding your own home observations, viewing invoices etc. I am very thankful to the whole team at Clarecroft Day Nursery and for the provision of high quality care they provide for my children (my son currently attends wrap around care there, he also attended full time when he was younger).

My daughter was in Clarecroft Day Nursery from 13 months onwards and during all these years she has been loved and cared for by the wonderful and committed staff there. They were always gently working on her independence and skills through play and activities and providing a happy environment for her development. The only minor issue is that they don't have a massive playground for outside but, to be fair, what they do have is well utilised and the indoors is like a Tardis. Her personal relationship skills with other kids was positively encouraged and this prepared her for junior school. Her relationship with her different key workers through the years was a highlight and made her feel special and valued, no doubt helping her to become a confident little girl.

The nursery is good and I have been happy with their care of my child. Staff are responsive to my queries. The reports I get indicate that staff know my child well. My child enjoys their days at the nursery but struggles with the transition of entering the nursery. Staff have tried to offer creative support with this. The activities offered are varied and creative.

Clarecroft Day Nursery has looked after my two sons and I’ve always thought they have been brilliant with them both. Both kids have loved their time there. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery.
