I have been sending my son to Busy Bees Meridian for almost 2 years now and I couldn't wish for a better place for him to be cared for and educated.
All of the staff I have interacted with during his time there are exceptionally professional during every interaction and I cannot fault the attention
to detail they show every day.
I would like to offer a special mention to the three ladies who have been my son's keyworkers during his time at the nursery and have helped him develop massively.
I would also like to extend my thanks to the nursery manager, she has always been beyond professional and any request no matter how big or little is too much for her.


If you are looking for a nursery to send your child to then look no further as Busy Bees Meridian is second to none.

Where do I even begin? Busy Bees has just been absolutely amazing with my 2-year-old son. The carers are so kind and my son is excited when I drop him off, and just as excited when I pick him up. They have been patient and have helped him speak - as he has been a bit of a late bloomer. I am quite impressed
with the activities the kids do, from science to craft, to learning about the environment. There is a lovely space for the kids to play, and a variety of toys they are encouraged to explore. The admin people have been so efficient - and even last minute they were able to accommodate extra sessions when I needed them because of work. I appreciate all efforts they have made to keep the nursery safe during these times - I feel confident leaving my child with them. Finally, the updates I get from the parent app have been so useful in following his progress - the carers are so attentive and supportive in keeping us informed and addressing any concerns we may have.

My daughter has been at this nursery for 4 months now, and it was a big transition for us all! However, the staff have been amazing and she has settled in really well. They have handled the challenges of her needing to be fed to sleep, and being a fussy eater tremendously - and now she naps well there
and seems to enjoy her meals. The carers are warm and friendly, and my daughter gets excited to tell me about her day and looks forward to going back.
It has been difficult starting nursery during a lockdown - however, they have an app that updates you throughout the day with photos and logs of what they have been doing, which is very useful. The nursery has been great with COVID policies, and always kept us informed and stayed open throughout lockdown - allowing me to go to work myself as a key worker.
I have noticed my daughter has become more confident and sociable since attending nursery, and she always has a smile on her face at the end of the day.

Busy Bees Meridian has been outstanding since my then eight-month-old started attending. The staff, setting, activities, level of care and communication have always been second to none. I can't thank Busy Bees Meridian enough. Sadly in September 2020, we are moving house and so this nursery will be
too far. Thank you Busy Bees Meridian we will never forget you.

We had to use Busy Bees when our nursery closed due to covid-19, so we were really worried about our little one settling in. Busy Bees were absolutely fantastic. My 16-month-old girl loved being there from day one. The staff are helpful and always smiling, and they do so much! Lots of painting, messy
play and crafts! It made a difficult situation so much better, and I am very grateful for their care.

Cannot recommend Busy Bees enough. My son loves going to nursery and to see how far he has come along in six months in his development is fantastic. We recently had a Busy Bees parents evening and it was lovely to hear from his key worker how he has integrated into the 1-2 years group and we joked that
the next parents evening he will be the one telling us how he is getting on, but it's true he seems to be learning new words every day and always a very happy chipper boy when picking him up from nursery, which is a credit to Busy Bees.

I only looked at two nurseries when I was starting back at work and have been so happy with my choice, not only is it convenient, there's always parking available, but the staff are really lovely, kind and helpful too. My son seems to really enjoy it and has been rapidly developing since he started.
The kids seem well taken care of and there's a nice outside space. I do think an additional awning would be good so the kids can go outside no matter what the weather, and its additional shade in the sun. My son eats really well there and after asking for some of the recipes, I got a nice postal surprise yesterday with all I requested. My only point is that it sometimes seems very dark in there, but I'm not sure it that's a problem for the kids, it might just be me. Overall, I'm really happy with Busy Bees and all the staff I've encountered.

The nursery facility provides a great learning environment for babies through to pre-school. The staff are friendly and supportive of individual needs and always accommodating when changes occur to help juggle the work - life balance.

Lovely nursery. Great facilities. Carers form great bonds with the kids. They have loads of themed days, show and tell, and in the foundation class they also have a little allotment. My boy has tried footy and French classes. There is plenty to keep any child entertained.

Brilliant staff who are fantastic and caring. The facility is purpose built and excellent. The children are well cared for. I have no hesitation in recommending this nursery. My daughter loves it and has developed in leaps and bounds since she started.

My son has blossomed since joining Busy Bees Leicester Meridian only a few months ago! He feels very comfortable with the staff which has given him the confidence to shine. He is in no way judged or pushed to be doing more than he is capable of, but simply guided and shown how to learn new things in
a fun way, which definitely works for him! In comparison to his previous nursery I cannot recommend Busy Bees Meridian enough. 5* service!

Busy Bees at Meridian.
The staff here are committed, honest and very very helpful. The activities children do are always fun and educational. There is a handover each time you drop and collect your child, every time I collect my daughter she ALWAYS is clean, happy and content. When she's having an
'off day, staff are tentative and reassuring towards her.
I am so unbelievably grateful for this nursery - me and my husband visited a fair few and as first-time parents, we didn't feel confident in leaving our pride and joy at. The staff here were reassuring and empathetic. THANK YOU BUSY BEES MERIDIAN!!

My son has been coming to Busy Bees nursery since age 1 and he’s now in the 3-5s room he absolutely loves it and enjoys going. We as parents are really pleased with all the staff at Busy Bees and the level of care they give. I love hearing about my sons day at nursery and all the things he’s been doing
whilst he’s there. I like how they offer the children a wide range of activities and all food is prepared on site giving them healthy and delicious food .

My daughter has been going to the nursery full-time since she turned one. First, the baby room and now in the 1-2s room.
My daughter feels very much at home when she goes to nursery, she loves it. She has developed strong bonds with all the ladies there, in particular, her key workers. I am so thankful
for the love and care my daughter receives. She is growing up to be an adventurous and independent little girl.
The nursery have been fantastic with keeping on top of applying my daughter's eczema cream, several times a day and also changing her bibs. I am SO grateful for the attentive care that the staff provide.
I also love the fact that my daughter has access to a comprehensive food menu. She has breakfast, lunch and tea, as well as snacks in between. Fresh food cooked on site. I'm glad she is exposed to a wide range of foods from an early age.
I highly recommend Busy Bees Meridian, all the staff and managers are fantastic.

Fantastic staff, stage environment and great facilities and development for all young children. My son has been attending this nursery since he was 12 months old, he is now 2 years old. The staff at the nursery are always very friendly and reassuring, leaving my son in their care has been made a lot easier because of how well I can see that they all care for him and all the children in their care.
My son loves coming here, he is always talking about his carers and what he has enjoyed doing.
I love the ParentZone app, having access to my sons development and seeing photos of his day to day activities is lovely, the observations are very detailed and informative.
The facilities are excellent and the menu contains a variety of foods so my son always has a healthy balanced diet.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
