My daughter joined Busy Bees at Leicester Meridian when she was eight months old. I was initially nervous about leaving her for two full days a week but all of the team at Busy Bees at Leicester Meridian made the transition easier than I could imagine. They keep me up to date on everything through the
app and at home time, have built an excellent relationship with my daughter and make great observations and recommendations on what we can do at home too, to connect the learning. My daughter loves going to nursery and especially loves the food! Thanks to all at Busy Bees at Leicester Meridian.

This has been the most exceptional place to send both of my children and I will be very sorry when my youngest has to move up to school. The childcare has been unwavering, even through a pandemic, with support being given through all rooms, making this a home away from home. All of the staff are in
their own right outstanding, providing a warm safety net for my children to grow and develop at their own pace. I absolutely cannot recommend this setting enough. The rooms are clean and inviting, all resources are well maintained and the rooms are comfortable and educational. They’ve supported my children’s specific needs whilst in and out of the nursery and it’s been the best starting place for them to begin their journey of education. They have been flexible to my needs of childcare and made a safe and welcoming place for me to know my children are receiving the very best care away from home.

We have three year old twin girls and they have attended this nursery since they were eighteen months old. We could not have been more pleased with their progress from attending this nursery. The girls can't wait to get to nursery each morning and are always happy, giggling and excited to tell us all
about their day. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and any concerns that have been raised are immediately dealt with in a professional and timely manner. Throughout the lockdown period, staff have been vigilant, caring and thorough with taking temperatures and with the general health and well-being of all of their children. There is never a task too big or small when it comes to the quality of leadership at the nursery and we can sing nothing but praises for the time, dedication and endless hours the nursery staff have worked to support the parents through this difficult time. I would recommend this setting in a heartbeat!

When selecting a nursery for our son we shopped around a lot, as it was really important for us to find somewhere that would provide a nurturing environment that would support or son's growth and development. We looked at three other nurseries before deciding on Busy Bees at Leicester Meridian. My son
started nursery in January 2021 and has settled in beautifully despite our concerns about this, given that he has spent the majority of his life in lockdown. Two members of staff in the baby room are wonderful. They keep our son engaged in activities throughout the day, provide updates via the app and always give a thorough handover at the end of the day. All the staff always greet you with a smile and seem to know all of the children, even if they work in different areas. My son has an egg allergy, which was a concern when picking a nursery. The manager was diligent in her risk assessment and put my mind at ease immediately. My son continues to flourish under their care. Thank you.

My daughter has attended Busy Bees at Leicester Meridian for the past two years. She was very shy around new people when she began. Over the past year, I have begun to notice the difference in her confidence. She absolutely loves going to the nursery. She has recently started to make friends and talks
about them and the staff non stop at home. She knows songs and dances that she has had to teach me. With regards to the staff, I couldn't rate them higher. Everyone is and always has been welcoming and personable. The manager is never too busy to speak to you. She always refers to me by name even though she must have so many names to remember. She talks about my child like she is the only child at the nursery. Knowing details about her personality and likes or dislikes. All the staff clearly have a positive and enjoyable work-life and it shows in how well they care for the children. The nursery has dealt with the pandemic so well and this shows in the small amount of cases they have had.

Working full time and leaving your child can be really stressful but all the staff at Busy Bees at Leicester Meridian make us feel at ease and make it as easy as possible. They are great with my son and keep my husband and me informed of all the great activities they do throughout the day so I can feel
like I was there. They really do go above and beyond in every aspect of my child’s development and have coped with the pandemic in such a professional way, which has made us feel really safe in such an uncertain time. Busy Bees at Leicester Meridian are amazing! I cannot fault them, my son has been going for over a year now and all the staff have been brilliant with him. He finally became settled in before lockdown and when nurseries were allowed to open he went back and was unsettled again. However, the staff went
above and beyond to get him through it and kept me in the loop the whole time. They do so many activities with him and he has come on so much since starting nursery. I would highly recommend it here.

I have been sending my son to Busy Bees Meridian for almost 2 years now and I couldn't wish for a better place for him to be cared for and educated.
All of the staff I have interacted with during his time there are exceptionally professional during every interaction and I cannot fault the attention
to detail they show every day.
I would like to offer a special mention to the three ladies who have been my son's keyworkers during his time at the nursery and have helped him develop massively.
I would also like to extend my thanks to the nursery manager, she has always been beyond professional and any request no matter how big or little is too much for her.


If you are looking for a nursery to send your child to then look no further as Busy Bees Meridian is second to none.

Where do I even begin? Busy Bees has just been absolutely amazing with my 2-year-old son. The carers are so kind and my son is excited when I drop him off, and just as excited when I pick him up. They have been patient and have helped him speak - as he has been a bit of a late bloomer. I am quite impressed
with the activities the kids do, from science to craft, to learning about the environment. There is a lovely space for the kids to play, and a variety of toys they are encouraged to explore. The admin people have been so efficient - and even last minute they were able to accommodate extra sessions when I needed them because of work. I appreciate all efforts they have made to keep the nursery safe during these times - I feel confident leaving my child with them. Finally, the updates I get from the parent app have been so useful in following his progress - the carers are so attentive and supportive in keeping us informed and addressing any concerns we may have.

My daughter has been at this nursery for 4 months now, and it was a big transition for us all! However, the staff have been amazing and she has settled in really well. They have handled the challenges of her needing to be fed to sleep, and being a fussy eater tremendously - and now she naps well there
and seems to enjoy her meals. The carers are warm and friendly, and my daughter gets excited to tell me about her day and looks forward to going back.
It has been difficult starting nursery during a lockdown - however, they have an app that updates you throughout the day with photos and logs of what they have been doing, which is very useful. The nursery has been great with COVID policies, and always kept us informed and stayed open throughout lockdown - allowing me to go to work myself as a key worker.
I have noticed my daughter has become more confident and sociable since attending nursery, and she always has a smile on her face at the end of the day.

Busy Bees Meridian has been outstanding since my then eight-month-old started attending. The staff, setting, activities, level of care and communication have always been second to none. I can't thank Busy Bees Meridian enough. Sadly in September 2020, we are moving house and so this nursery will be

We had to use Busy Bees when our nursery closed due to covid-19, so we were really worried about our little one settling in. Busy Bees were absolutely fantastic. My 16-month-old girl loved being there from day one. The staff are helpful and always smiling, and they do so much! Lots of painting, messy
play and crafts! It made a difficult situation so much better, and I am very grateful for their care.

Cannot recommend Busy Bees enough. My son loves going to nursery and to see how far he has come along in six months in his development is fantastic. We recently had a Busy Bees parents evening and it was lovely to hear from his key worker how he has integrated into the 1-2 years group and we joked that
the next parents evening he will be the one telling us how he is getting on, but it's true he seems to be learning new words every day and always a very happy chipper boy when picking him up from nursery, which is a credit to Busy Bees.

I only looked at two nurseries when I was starting back at work and have been so happy with my choice, not only is it convenient, there's always parking available, but the staff are really lovely, kind and helpful too. My son seems to really enjoy it and has been rapidly developing since he started.
The kids seem well taken care of and there's a nice outside space. I do think an additional awning would be good so the kids can go outside no matter what the weather, and its additional shade in the sun. My son eats really well there and after asking for some of the recipes, I got a nice postal surprise yesterday with all I requested. My only point is that it sometimes seems very dark in there, but I'm not sure it that's a problem for the kids, it might just be me. Overall, I'm really happy with Busy Bees and all the staff I've encountered.

The nursery facility provides a great learning environment for babies through to pre-school. The staff are friendly and supportive of individual needs and always accommodating when changes occur to help juggle the work - life balance.

Lovely nursery. Great facilities. Carers form great bonds with the kids. They have loads of themed days, show and tell, and in the foundation class they also have a little allotment. My boy has tried footy and French classes. There is plenty to keep any child entertained.
