My son has been attending this nursery for over a year. This is the second Busy Bee’s nursery he has attended as we moved house and therefore needed to move nursery. We viewed other nurseries in the area and this was most definitely the best option. A change can be very daunting for both parent and
child but from day one, the staff have been wonderful. The range of activities has been great for my son's development. I would definitely recommend.

My granddaughter has been attending the nursery for a couple of months and I am really pleased with the way she's settled, all the staff have been brilliant with her and also making her mum feel confident in leaving her.

We are very happy with this nursery. The staff are so friendly and always talk to our little boy as we arrive first thing and when it’s home time. They are very welcoming and warm. Our little one has settled really well and has completed lots of different activities which he loves and some are new experiences.
We had lots of photographs and paintings brought home last night which we loved!

I have been bringing my little boy here since the beginning of July and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone that's looking to put their children into a nursery. Brilliant nursery, best one around the area. My little boy has come home learning new things he has never learnt before. The staff
are lovely and always keep parents informed of anything.

My daughter has been coming to the nursery for a year and a half now and she has enjoyed making new friends and formed good relationships with her key worker and peers in the room. She enjoys doing a wide range of activities with the staff and loves to tell me about the fun things she does through out
the day. My daughter has progressed well since being at the nursery and shown signs of achievement in her learning.

My son has been attending Busy Bees Wigston since he was 6 months old and he is now nearly 3. I would highly recommend this nursery, due to the staff being really friendly, supportive and helpful.

Due to my son has a big appetite, the variety of the fresh meals provided each day is fantastic and

extra portions are often provided.

When collecting my son at the end of each day, one of the staff will provide a full list of; meals for the day, activities he has taken part in and how many times he has been to the toilet.

Overall the nursery fees are reasonable, aIthough I benefit from a reduction due to using the nursery's full-time service, which works out a nice little saving compared to paying per hour or per half day.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.650)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.650) out of 10 for Busy Bees Leicester Wigston Magna is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.7 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.917 for Busy Bees Leicester Wigston Magna is calculated as follows: ( (99 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 108 Ratings = 4.917
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.733 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Leicester Wigston Magna is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.9
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 54 number of registered child places is 10.8. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 10.8 = 0.833
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
