Busy Bees Leicester Oadby is welcoming, friendly and happy and has three spacious rooms for children aged between six weeks and five years.

The atmosphere is relaxed and happy, enabling the children to learn in the free flow environment by following their interests and letting their confidence grow.

Staff pride themselves on building excellent relationships between staff, children and parents to ensure that your child's needs are fully met.

The free flow access to the outdoor offers a variety of activities where children can make choices, as well as taking risks. There are ample opportunities for children to play and investigate - there is a pirate ship to discover; opportunities for music making as well as an area for planting.

The babies have their own covered play area too. Here they have space to crawl and toddle in a safe environment discovering the world around them using all their senses.

It received a 'Good' Ofsted rating in 2017.

My grandchild comes here fulltime and loves coming. They have such a strong bond with their keyworker and are happy to go in the morning.

I would highly recommend Busy Bees Oadby to anyone looking for a nursery for their little one. I was very nervous putting my son into nursery and had alot of anxiety around it, but meeting the team made me feel alot more comfortable! After the first few weeks of settling in, I've seen a huge change
in my sons development and all the new skills he learns every day. He loves going to nursery and refuses to get in the car to go home!
The staff really go above and beyond with him and make a genuine effort, and the manager is so caring and won't mind however many times I call in to check on him!
Thank you to all the staff at busy bees for making our experience so amazing!

After the wonderful experience we had with our first daughter, there was no doubt we would put our second daughter at this nursery. We can visibly see the the growth and development in our children. All the staff are excellent and take care of the children as if they were their own.

My son has been attending the nursery since 2023, and we have had a pleasant experience with the nursery manager. Unfortunately, when she was on maternity leave, I was close to moving my son to a different nursery as the quality of care went down when it was being handled by a replacement manager from
a different branch. I am so glad that she is back. Meaning the quality of care is back up again. I feel more comfortable leaving my son knowing that he will be looked after properly.
The staff are all nice and friendly. The nursery is clean and has lots of activities for the children. I would recommend Busy Bees Leicester Oadby to anyone who wants good quality care for their children.

I decided to enrol my son into Busy Bees due the amazing three and a half years my daughter had there previously. My son found the first few weeks difficult due to always being at home with me however the staff were amazing and did everything to help settle him in going above and beyond. The staff make
my son feel welcome, give him cuddles when he needs them and make a genuine effort, ensuring he is happy before I leave him in their care.
I am so happy that the manager has come back. She has ensured a smooth running of the nursery, issues get dealt with promptly, nothing is too much trouble for her and her genuine interest in my child puts my mind at ease. The manager and the team make my son's time at nursery a pleasure and he is flourishing and learning so much which is very important to me and my family.

My child has been attending the nursery for several months. I have seen a massive development in socialising, speech and confidence. I have been very happy with my daughter's learning development and love that staff are able to see the development also which highlights the attentiveness of the staff.
The staff are very open and honest when talking to me at the end of each day and are happy to answer any questions. When talking to staff, different activities are completed throughout the day/each day which is nice the children get a wide variety. The staff often share which activities have been enjoyed by my daughter during the day which has been helpful for me to develop her interests at home. Although there is a small outdoor space, it is well utilised. When weather appropriate, I find that the children get the opportunity to spend a lot of time outside. Meals are provided and are varied and healthy.

Just wanted to use this to thank everybody at Busy Bees, Oadby Nursery. As a team, you are all amazing and awesome. You made us and still make us feel very welcome and at ease. You are very supportive, friendly and kind to both children and parents. I pick up my daughter every day and I see how happy
she is and how well she is learning and developing at your settings and it's just amazing. I drop her off every day and I know she is in safe hands and she will be cared for and loved. My daughter currently attends the nursery three days a week and absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing and always on hand if you need them or have any worries. The nursery is very welcoming and have never encountered any issues in the two years that my daughter has been there. I would highly recommend

The nursery had a lot of changes when my daughter first started, however the staff ensured she was supported and settled in well. The manager and her team are amazing, my daughter is always happy to go in, talks often about the staff that support her and with a real fondness. The activities and support
are great and really encourage her development. She also has a variety of meals which she thoroughly enjoys!
The staff have worked super hard over the last year with the pandemic too and have ensured the safety of all the children, it has definitely been very reassuring in these crazy times!
Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Both my children have attended Busy Bees Leicester Oadby. I cannot recommend them highly enough. All the staff are welcoming, friendly and caring. They look after the children as if they were their own and care for them to an extremely high standard. The centre director is very helpful and accommodating.
The nursery’s app system means you know how your child is through the day and I know my children are always happy and looked after. They are always brilliant with communication and cater to children’s individual needs where necessary. Thank you to you all for always being amazing.

My little girl has been with this nursery since she was eight months old, she is now nearly four and she absolutely loves going. She is excited to go in and play, explore and learn and I look forward to her telling me excitedly about all she got up to during the day. The nursery has been flexible to
her needs, as a baby she had food allergies and the nursery treated this with so much care ensuring that her diet was closely monitored. She has built special bonds with her carers and talks about her key carer with so much love and adoration, she missed her carer and nursery a lot during the covid lockdown and was so delighted to return. There has been a high turnover of staff in recent years, my daughter has not been impacted by this other than missing people who have left, however, I feel 2020 has seen this stabilise. If I call the nursery during the day, the team are always happy to talk to me and let me know how my daughter is doing as well as answer any questions. I would recommend.

My son went to the nursery from the age of 18-months until lockdown. He hasn’t returned as he has now started school. We saw a lot of changes over the years, but the nursery finally felt settled and happy before lockdown in March. The manager runs a lovely nursery and is very approachable. Special mention
to one lady (preschool) who my son adored before he left. My son always came home with a piece of work or baking. Lots of toys and interesting areas in the rooms. The nursery is very clean, and the meals were always enjoyed (and smelt nice). My son will miss nursery (as will we) and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other families.

Wouldn’t even give it one star! My son attended here in September 2019. This nursery was by far the worst I’ve ever endured in my life. I was left going to work with fear my son was not safe. I am so glad he was only here for eight weeks and even then I was unsure on whether to send him most days. My
son took a fall which resulted in facial bruising and it took the staff 45 minutes to contact my partner. The reason given for the time taken was that they were on the phone, and it’s the only phone available in the nursery. The manager was patronising to say the least and unwilling to even let you get a word in edgeways. I have since heard she has been dismissed! You meet a new staff member every day with how fast this nursery gets through them. AVOID at any cost!

My son has attended this nursery since he was 9 months old and has always enjoyed coming in with smiles without any hesitation. He will always happily talk about what he’s done throughout the day and loves coming home with stuff he has made. He has made lots of friends during his time so far and has
definitely built him up to be such a confident little boy who has been able to learn lots already since attending the setting. He has already formed some good relationships with the staff who have recently implemented lots of new ideas that engages him well.

My son has attended nursery since he was eight months old. He has become such a confident boy and he is really outgoing and will play with anyone when we go out to places. He loves telling me what he's done at nursery and is always so excited to explain the activities they have done.
He loves going
to nursery and playing with his friends.
There have been a few staff changes over the years but this hasn't affected him as he has always been happy to go in and explore the wide range of toys and resources available within each room.

My daughter has now attended the nursery for a month full time. My daughter has settled incredibly well after only ever being used to spending her time with mother at home. The staff are very friendly and always on hand to answer any queries. Feedback provided on a daily basis which is useful. My daughter
is always happy, cheerful when dropping her off every morning which is reassuring as parents. I could not have asked for any more from the nursery staff who provide a first class caring service for my child.

I have two boys, the eldest was enrolled last year and the youngest started 4 months ago, both boys have settled in well. The staff are really friendly, I like the fact that all members of staff get to know all the children. My eldest has really enjoyed interacting with other children and making friends,
also we found potty training difficult. we definitely couldn't have done it without the help of the nursery, the staff genuinely care and want to help. Would definitely recommend this nursery.
