The staff are very friendly, welcoming and take the time to get to know each child as an individual. My boy loves talking about the staff and looks forward to seeing them each week.
If I was to have any more children, there's no doubt in my mind which nursery they would attend!
My daughter has been attending Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery since she was 10 months old and is now in preschool to prepare to go to primary school this year. This was earlier than planned due to changes in personal circumstances, but was made easier by the nursery staff creating such a lovely environment for her to go to. As a mother I have always felt reassurance that she is safe and happy with them. My daughter is always happy to go and has a big smile on her face when I collect her telling me all about her day. I feel it has really helped her social and intellectual skills. I would and have recommended Treasures nursery to other parents.
** 4 star for facilities/outdoor space only due to the outdoor space being quite small and limited because of the central location - however I am aware the children are taken out in groups to local allotments etc to try to counter this.
The staff have been incredibly supportive and caring throughout the last year. They keep us regularly up to date, have end of the day hand overs and then parent evenings so parents and key worker can discuss the child's progression and areas of focus for the next term.
I love the fact that there is an in-house cook that cooks healthy and nutritious meals from scratch daily. My daughter loves the food and often asks for seconds. They have a 4 week rolling menu.
I know it sounds quite cliché to say but from the atmosphere, it feels like one big family and I couldn't ask for anymore than that.
Of course I would highly recommend to anyone as your child(ren) will be in the best of hands.
My little boy started at Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery in April 24 and the staff were so patient with him as he was very shy, he adjusted so quickly and has really come out of his shell whilst attending nursery, all thanks to the amazing staff here, who listen to your concerns and what you would like them to work on with your child. We were told he possibly would need speech therapy but in just a few months he was talking our ears off! I highly recommend this nursery to bring your child even if you worry about how shy or how quiet they are. The staff and children here will definitely bring out your child's chatty side! I also love the regular parents evening to hear all about what he has been up to and the nursery's plans and next steps for his learning and development!
It was initially the staff that spotted this and advised and helped so much.
Even before this my little boy has always enjoyed nursery, made great friends and learnt a lot.
I cannot recommend treasures enough!
Reassurances are given as soon as you visit the nursery to see how well the children are cared for and this continues throughout their journey at Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery.
You are frequently sent observation reports, assessments and invited to parent evenings.
Staff are fantastic, friendly and approachable. They somehow manage to remember all the names of the children, this in itself is outstanding!
Should you ever have a concern this can easily be discussed and actions taken to immediately resolve this.
A delicious variety of home cooked meals are provided.
We would recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a placement for their child.
My son started Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery in January and from the very first phone call to visits, settling in sessions and drop offs/pick ups all staff have been so welcoming and friendly. My son loves coming to nursery and often runs in without giving myself a second thought, that in itself speaks volumes as it shows he enjoys attending and feels it's a safe environment. I'm kept up to date with all his development and have been reassured when I had doubts about his speech. Thank you to you all, you have all already been a big part in my son's learning and development in such a short space of time and we look forward to watching our little boy grow even more with your help and guidance.
My son started at Treasures back in October of last year and I've seen him blossom so much since being there. The staff are so friendly and welcoming when I go to drop him off and collect him and are so good with him in the morning, as he is one of those children that goes in upset. My son's speech, eating and so much more has improved loads and I know this is down to the fact that the nursery does so many lovely and engaging activities with the children. During feedback at the end of the day we always hear what my child has been up to (backup with the online app which is fab). In the past six months, my son has taken part in dance from around the world, watching chicks hatch, taking part in an Easter bonnet competition, outdoor and sand and water play daily and so much more! Can not recommend Treasures Nursery enough! Thank you for the fantastic care and learning you provide.
The manager and the staff at Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery make the nursery such a welcoming and happy place. My two children are there at the moment and recently I’ve just had a third who will also be attending when he’s old enough. My eldest had a slight speech delay and the nursery were straight on it, advising me on how to help him and helping alongside him at nursery too. I love listening to what the boys have been up to when they get home, especially telling me all about their nursery pets - chicks! Lovely safe environment for children and I can’t recommend them enough.
My daughter attends this nursery and has done so for the past two years. My older daughter also attended before she started full time school. They have both loved going and look forward to it, having made some solid friendships with both the other children and the staff. I have always found the staff to be extremely patient and considerate, respectful and knowledgeable. I have always felt well informed and confident that my children have been safe and well looked after each day. I am actually expecting another baby and would not even look at any other nursery, feeling content in the decision to choose “Treasures”. My younger daughter will be one of the youngest children to start full time school in September and I am happy she will have no problems socially or academically blending in perfectly (as did my older daughter last year).
The nursery is a really nice place for the children, my child loves going! All the staff make you feel welcome, tell you about the day and what the child has been up to and what they've ate etc! Highly recommended!
My one-year-old has been in attendance here now for five months, she didn’t settle well to begin with and I was often worried but the staff always put my mind at rest that she was fine. Now she has settled into nursery she absolutely loves to go and play. The staff are all so lovely, they are always happy and smiling and so helpful with advice and take time to listen. The manager is a team player and responds very quickly to any concerns I have. I couldn’t ask for a better nursery to care for my little one while I go to work.
My maternity leave recently came to an end and so my 8-month-old daughter started at Treasures in September. I had a lot of guilt about sending her to nursery so young but since she started, she has come on leaps and bounds and it was 100% the right decision! The staff have been incredibly welcoming, friendly and seem genuinely interested in us as a family unit. They are happy to help and to make any adjustments needed with ease. They also use an app to privately record any observations and photographs from her sessions, which is lovely to see throughout my working day. The recent renovations in the nursery are lovely, and so the facilities are absolutely perfect for the kids attending. It has such a warm atmosphere and I love the use of natural toys. The outside area is a little small, but they make the most of it and provide excellent facilities. My daughter always comes home messy and happy, which is the sign of a great day. I would highly recommend Treasures Nursery!
My daughter, who is 2 years old, has been attending Treasures nursery since she was 6 months old. As a first time parent I found leaving her extremely stressful but the staff were fantastic. They were reassuring and gave great advice and I'm so pleased that we preserved as my daughter loves nursery and she's developed so much because of the stimulating environment that Treasures provides. I love that the nursery is so good at communicating with parents through regular parent evenings and by providing information at the end of each day about her sleeps and what she has been doing in the day. It gives me a chance to talk to my daughter about her day.
The staff are approachable which is important and they clearly care deeply about the children in their care which for me is the most important thing. If I have to leave my child I want to know that is spending time with people who want to help her grow as an individual.
The staff were always very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. All staff were genuinely interested in the children in their care and their progress.
The nursery was always clean and there were plenty of resources and activities for the children to learn and play with.
I feel both myself and my son benefited greatly from being a part of Treasures Nursery and would highly recommend to anyone looking for day care for their child or children.
Keep up the good work Treasures!
My son spent 2 years at Treasures Nursery. Settling wasn't easy for him but they did everything in their power to help him settle and feel comfortable. In the time he was there the staff went above and beyond to help him achieve his potential in so many different areas of his development.
I highly recommend Treasures Nursery.
The staff here are warm and exceptionally nice people and I have always felt at ease talking about my daughter. My child comes home happy and that's the true measure, she always has lots of stories to eagerly share with me.
The outside play area is not overly spacious and so no free areas to run and for group outdoor sports I would suspect it's limited. It doesn't detract overall though.
My eldest son has been going to Treasures since he was 15 months old and my youngest son since 9 months old. I only have experience with Tiny Treasures and Little Gems rooms so far and I have to say the staff are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble and I feel so comfortable leaving my children with them. I can't wait for my eldest to start his funded hours in January as he will be there more and therefore learn so much more. The only slight downside is there isn't a huge space outdoors BUT they have worked brilliantly with what they have got and it really does work!
My daughter attended this nursery from being 8 months old right through to beginning school. Absolutely fantastic place and staff. I never had concerns and staff would go out of their way to help with any queries I had. My daughter is now exceeding at school and it's thanks to a great start from the nursery team. I would highly recommend this nursery.
