Mary Poppins Day Nursery

Mary Poppins day nursery is amazing. My first child attended from the age of 9 months back in 2012. My youngest child started around 6 months old and is still there now. Absolutely amazing nursery staff are second to none and go beyond their means. Always very friendly and helpful. We feel like our child is very well cared for by the girls and I wouldn’t leave him anywhere else. My child also enjoys going each day which tells me he must have created a bond with them. Each child has an individual key worker, this has been the case with both my children and seems to work really well. As for each room, there are lots of things for them to do and to keep them entertained, as well as learning along the way. The outside play area is well maintained and very secure. Meals are amazing and my child eats every meal put in front of him when he’s there. When you pick your child up, you also get a rundown of what they have done for the day. My oldest is 7 now and Mary Poppins helped him become who he is today.

I would highly recommend Mary Poppins as I have always felt confident that my children are being well cared for whilst I'm at work.

Fantastic nursery. Both my children have attended and I felt the staff really cared about them as if they were their own children. The staff were very supportive of our needs as an individual family and I always felt able to approach supervisors and managers with any questions that I had. My children were never short of cuddles and learning opportunities. I would not hesitate to recommend Mary Poppins to other parents.

They enjoy the food served and there is a good variety on the menu. The staff listen to our routines at home and are happy to continue these at nursery. Overall I am extremely happy with Mary Poppins and cannot speak highly enough of the nursery, the staff and the management there.

My daughter has attended this nursery since August 2014 and I can honestly say, there is no one else I would trust more with my child. I suffered from parental anxiety and not only did the nursery staff look after my daughter, but they took on board my fears and made it easier for me too. The care they offer is second to none; I genuinely feel that they love the children - it's not just a job for them. Each child has their own key worker and deputy key worker and the rota seems to be worked so that there is always one of the children's key workers on shift. I wouldn't consider moving my child to another nursery, in fact, we have made the decision that we will keep her here rather than move her to the local nursery. As well as following their own learning plans set by the government, the ladies teach manners, good behaviour and create an environment of safety and love. And I wish I could have my meals here - the food is incredible! Not a fish finger in sight! Cannot recommend enough.
