Arbury Day Nursery & Pre-school

My son and daughter both attend Arbury Day Nursery. They enjoy their time there and play a lot of imaginary games. All the staff are very friendly and are always happy to help. My children are comfortable with the staff and always give a good report back when they come home.

There have been a number of changes that have been enacted due to covid that seem to be working well and have been integrated well into the children's normal routine. These changes have had a really positive impact on my two - for example; I have noticed that they are more aware of the importance of hygiene and are very excited about washing hands!

We are so happy we chose Arbury Day. From day one the team have been fantastic with our daughter. As a parent that worries, I feel I can drop off my child knowing she is safe and happy. Management are always on the end of the phone when needed. Through Covid the nursery have been supportive and reliable. We have had messages and updates regularly. Suggested activities to pass the time and smiling faces from all the staff at drop off and pick ups. Our only regret is that we did not join sooner. Thank you for all you do. We would highly recommend Arbury Day.

Putting my son into nursery was an extremely daunting experience for me, especially because my son was very clingy. I researched and visited many nurseries and Arbury really stuck out to me. The staff are so welcoming and nurturing towards children. They really know how to care for the children in their care - I can not fault them! I love that they have a monthly catch up email and an online portal that we can access for our children to keep us involved and updated. Even during "lockdown" due to coronavirus, we have been receiving communication for the staff on ideas and videos to keep our kids busy and engaged and familiar with the faces they see in nursery. My son was very nervous when he first started but it didn't take long for him to really show his confidence with the help of the staff. Thanks so much, everyone.

My daughter absolutely loves attending Arbury Nursery, so much so she asks to go every day of the week. She adores the staff that look after her in the pre-school room which shows how attentive and caring they are. They are also so lovely and welcoming and show they really know my child through regular updates on her development. They provide amazing activities to progress my child’s learning through play. The children all seem so happy and engaged in play when I come to drop off or pick up my daughter. The nursery has such a lovely calm homely feel which puts you at ease as soon as you walk through the door.

My granddaughter has had a wonderful time at the nursery and she has come on leaps n’ bounds. The staff are all lovely and it basically feels like home. I would recommend anyone who is interested in finding a nursery/pre school to go and take a look.

Personally, I cannot thank the staff enough at Arbury Day Nursery. My little girl has been going for two months. At first, she was very nervous, however with the guidance and support of workers, she's now become sociable, independent and a confident little character. Over a short period of time, she has done a variety of activities encouraging memories and opportunities. I couldn't recommend a more rewarding nursery after seeing how much my little girl has learnt.

The girls in the toddler room are caring and compromised with their work with every single kid. My husband and I are thrilled that our boy is spending his firsts and more crucial years in Arbury.

All the staff have worked extra hard to help my son settle in. He enjoys nursery. They have age appropriate activities and all the staff make the nursery a lovely place. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a nursery.

My daughter has been at the nursery now since she was 8 months old. She is now 2 years old. She was extremely apprehensive when she first arrived, however, the team at the nursery have gone above and beyond to ensure she is comfortable and happy. Her development is fantastic. I put this very much down to the care, love and nurturing she receives. I am also really pleased to see continued investment into the nursery environment.
