The Old Station Nursery Wellesbourne

Both our children attended The Old Station Nursery. There is a very caring, friendly atmosphere. Staff are thoughtful, kind and work so hard. Daily activities are fun and varied and we get updates on the app. They also post meal times, naps, photos etc. Our son is very settled and enjoys himself a lot. His favourite part is outdoor pursuits and dancing/singing. I'd definitely recommend this lovely nursery that we are so lucky to have on our doorstep.

We are so glad that we chose The Old Station Nursery Wellesbourne as our little one absolutely loves it, and we feel happy that he is so happy. The staff are just wonderful and greet us everyday with such enthusiasm and kindness.

We are very happy with how well our daughter has settled in at the nursery. The staff are all friendly and kind and appear to enjoy their roles. The activities that are set out each day are engaging and age-appropriate.

Wonderful nursery. Trustworthy, experienced and friendly staff. Lovely and spacious setting. Our son was in great hands and made huge leaps in development thanks to the team there. He was regularly excited to head out of the door to nursery each day, which was extremely reassuring. I’d recommend The Old Station Nursery Wellesbourne without hesitation.

Couldn’t be happier with it, would give more stars if I could, they are the most lovely team with an outstanding manager. They have gone above and beyond countless times helping me through some personal circumstances and I couldn’t be more grateful for the safe environment they created through the pandemic and to now.

We love this nursery and so does our little one. We have had issues with our daughter's health over the last 10 months and all staff have been super supportive, especially in making radical changes to her diet to allow her gut to heal. Staff have worked with us to help our daughter and she is now thriving. Our little one loves going to nursery and puts her arms out to go towards staff when I drop her off which clearly shows that she has built relationships with the staff in the baby room. The range of activities is brilliant, I love the amount of messy play she does so we don't have to do this at home!! You can tell she is settled and enjoys her time at nursery, I love the app updates with pictures. The nursery manager is amazing, nothing is too much trouble and it's obvious that she's passionate about making the nursery a better place.

We couldn't be happier with how our son has settled into The Old Station Nursery and this is very much thanks to the manager and baby room staff. The time and effort that they have put in to ease his transition (from crying a lot at drop off to leaning over to be taken within a week or two!) and help him to nap has been wonderful. The staff are friendly, attentive and caring, and his development over the short time he has been there is impressive. We are so pleased that we chose this nursery.

Absolutely Brilliant! The staff are all so friendly and approachable, both of my children love their time there. They were allowed to settle in gently which has meant that drop-offs are a breeze and they always come out smiling, happy and telling me all about the fun they’ve had. Staff always give you a thorough rundown of their day as well as regular app updates. The play areas are spacious and well-equipped and my children love the outdoor space and get plenty of chance to explore this. My children’s development with speech and life skills have come on rapidly and noticeably since being at Old Station, and we’re looking forward to our parent's evening! All staff are extremely professional at all times and ensure nothing gets misplaced, and even though our children are allowed to get mucky (and are encouraged to)! They always come out with clean clothes and faces. The manager could not be more helpful, and time has been taken to establish great relationships with key workers.

Would recommend it highly to friends and family.

If I could give more stars, I would! The manager and her fabulous, energetic team have been nothing but brilliant towards our little boy during his time at OSN Wellesbourne. The manager has shown her improvements throughout the Nursery during 2023 and it is very clear her passion for her job and her nursery is matchless. All of the ladies within the toddler room, (in fact all of the rooms) are professional and it is clear that each and every one of them is doing the right job. Our son had a tricky start to the year in a setting elsewhere, OSN took him in and his nerves soon disappeared, and he was excited for Nursery every day! A special thank you to his key worker, who made his stay the most settled we have ever seen him and his key skills have thrived since. Thank you all at OSN Wellesbourne. You're all brilliant!

The care for my child is incredible. I’m so happy to send my son, he loves all the staff & they always take the time to update me. I get regular updates on the app. Photos could be sent more frequently, however, this is not essential.

I couldn’t ask for a more welcoming and caring setting for my daughter. The relationships built between the staff and children are so special and I feel my child is in completely safe hands. The setting is well-equipped with a variety of educational resources and the outdoor space is fantastic, offering lots of play options.

It would be really useful to have a weekly lunch/snack menu posted on the parent's app or emailed so we can monitor their diet a little more closely whilst out and look for any potential trigger foods and likes/dislikes.

There has been a lot of investment in the nursery since the changeover, and I hope they look at the forest school and bring this back for summer. This is truly a setting worthy of all the great reviews.

Brilliant nursery. Staff always so friendly and clearly care about all the children. Great variety of activities available every day. Shame the nature garden appears to not be used anymore and has been allowed to become very overgrown

Throughout the time my child has been at this nursery/pre school. He has learnt a lot and discovered new things. I have watched him grow into a confident happy young boy with the help of this place.

The nursery is excellent, the staff are really friendly and build great relationships with the children. This is our second child at this nursery and we are delighted our children have been able to grow up in a fabulous setting with lots of outdoor space and brilliant staff.

Lovely nursery and staff and setting. Our child is very happy. The fees charged on top of "free" hours are very high and they are not very transparent with billing making it very difficult to check what you are being charged. We weren't given a choice whether to stretch the hours. It has taken me months to resolve queries on bills.

Thank you for doing such a wonderful job taking care of our son.
