The Old Station Nursery Wellesbourne is located on the Wellesbourne Campus, making it convenient for those working or living near Warwick University. The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The nursery has been carefully planned to provide children with opportunities to develop and grow, and each room is equipped with age-appropriate resources to support children's development. The Pre-School children have their own separate building where they can create a strong foundation for school readiness and grow in confidence through independence.

The nursery's garden has a Forest School enhancement where children can learn to care for the environment, build dens, and care for any bugs or animals they find, as well as plenty of space for creative play and running around. This provides multi-sensory experiences in the outdoors stimulate sensory development, early education about ecological systems and sustainable practices and opportunities for active play and exploration, promoting overall physical fitness.

Children also have the opportunity to grow, tend and harvest their own produce as part of an Organic enhancement and the nursery also has a Cookery enhancement to promote children's love for preparing food.

If I could give more stars, I would! The manager and her fabulous, energetic team have been nothing but brilliant towards our little boy during his time at OSN Wellesbourne. The manager has shown her improvements throughout the Nursery during 2023 and it is very clear her passion for her job and her
nursery is matchless. All of the ladies within the toddler room, (in fact all of the rooms) are professional and it is clear that each and every one of them is doing the right job. Our son had a tricky start to the year in a setting elsewhere, OSN took him in and his nerves soon disappeared, and he was excited for Nursery every day! A special thank you to his key worker, who made his stay the most settled we have ever seen him and his key skills have thrived since. Thank you all at OSN Wellesbourne. You're all brilliant!

The care for my child is incredible. I’m so happy to send my son, he loves all the staff & they always take the time to update me. I get regular updates on the app. Photos could be sent more frequently, however, this is not essential.

I couldn’t ask for a more welcoming and caring setting for my daughter. The relationships built between the staff and children are so special and I feel my child is in completely safe hands. The setting is well-equipped with a variety of educational resources and the outdoor space is fantastic, offering

My child seems very happy and settled at Seedlings and always smiling when we pick them up. The staff all seem very capable and friendly and easy to deal with.
It would be really useful to have a weekly lunch/snack menu posted on the parent's app or emailed so we can monitor their diet a little more
closely whilst out and look for any potential trigger foods and likes/dislikes.

The nursery is brilliant. Both my boys have been at The Old Station Nursery Wellesbourne from Pips to Blooms, and they are both thriving; I put this down to the love and affection from the staff at the setting. The outdoor space is great; there is so much for them to do.
There has been a lot of investment
in the nursery since the changeover, and I hope they look at the forest school and bring this back for summer. This is truly a setting worthy of all the great reviews.

Brilliant nursery. Staff always so friendly and clearly care about all the children. Great variety of activities available every day. Shame the nature garden appears to not be used anymore and has been allowed to become very overgrown

The nursery is excellent, the staff are really friendly and build great relationships with the children. This is our second child at this nursery and we are delighted our children have been able to grow up in a fabulous setting with lots of outdoor space and brilliant staff.

Lovely nursery and staff and setting. Our child is very happy. The fees charged on top of "free" hours are very high and they are not very transparent with billing making it very difficult to check what you are being charged. We weren't given a choice whether to stretch the hours. It has taken me months
to resolve queries on bills.

The staff are truly lovely at The Old Station Nursery Wellesbourne. My son currently attends the Pips room (under 2 years) and absolutely loves it.
The staff are so attentive and have been really helpful with managing his conditions including eczema and a food allergy. I was nervous about how a nursery
would handle these things but the staff have put our minds at ease.
Our son has been attending the nursery for 9 months and every day we can see how much he is developing. The nursery gets him involved in lots of fun activities and messy play, as well as having lots of time outdoors. They have also given us useful advice including helping us to get our son to sleep better.
Thank you for doing such a wonderful job taking care of our son.

We are so happy with the care our daughter receives. She started when she was 8 months old and watching her development since she started has been wonderful. The activities she does every day are stimulating, and she eats all the food provided (which she doesn’t do at home!). She loves all the staff
and constantly asks for them when we’re at home. This nursery is a little out of the way for us but we wouldn’t dream of moving her, because she loves it so much.

My daughter is happy and settled and comes home telling me all the things she has done. Recent staff changes have left her a little unsettled but all staff seem caring and understanding.
Hopefully the Forest school will be used more now the gate has been fixed and I look forward to seeing what the
summer weather brings.

My daughter enjoys nursery. We have kept her at Wellesbourne despite moving a 30-minute drive away as she is so settled. She learns new things at an incredible rate. There has been a high turnover of staff since we have been at the nursery which is sometimes difficult to explain to her. It would be

My little boy recently graduated from Seedlings to attend big school! What a day! They had a little ceremony and wore caps! I had a tear in my eye as it was a sad day as well as a special day!
