It really is a home away from home for the children and I am so happy to leave my child in their care. The outside area they have is incomparable and gives a countryside feel.

We are so delighted with our experience of Oakdene Day Nursery, as our son settled in wonderfully and is very happy there. He loves the staff and their care has been fantastic. His interactions with staff are so positive and he loves to talk about them at home. He has learnt and experienced so much since starting a year ago, and their feedback on his development is both accurate and informative. They have a very good understanding of him. He eats a range of delicious food, which he always enjoys.

I cannot recommend Oakdene Day Nursery highly enough as they do so much more than just look after our children while we are at work. We chose Oakdene because of its homely feel and on visiting the nursery for the first time (meeting the staff), we knew this is where we wanted our children to go. It just felt right. From day one, both our sons have absolutely loved it and settled really well. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery and we are very pleased with the way our boys have developed and are continuing to develop. All of the staff are professional, kind and caring, and throughout the pandemic, they have handled the situation exceptionally well.

Oakdene Day Nursery is a kind and caring nursery where highly trained and dedicated staff create a safe and nurturing environment for all children. We feel happy leaving our children there, safe in the knowledge that it enriches their learning and development through fun and engaging play. We would always recommend it to others.

I have had two children go through Oakdene Day Nursery, the second leaving in the summer and I'm already so sad that she will be leaving! From the very first day, all of the staff have always been so warm and welcoming. They are always smiling no matter what and they all work so hard. We always get such detailed reports about our daughter's progress and they take the time to tell you about your child's day - they really get to know the children so well. The facilities are great, especially the outdoor provision. There's lots of space for the children to explore. Both of my daughters loved going through the nursery and preschool and I can really see the progress in them from having attended. My daughter has really grown in confidence through the last year and that's down to Oakdene! I will always recommend Oakdene to anyone!

We have been so impressed with Oakdene Day Nursery and wish we had known about it earlier so we could have sent our eldest! Oakdene feels like one big family and it’s so reassuring to know that our daughter receives so much love, care and attention when she is at nursery. When at home she speaks about all of her room staff with great fondness and is always excited to go to nursery. This has been so important to us as she is a shy little girl. When settling in they were really good at allowing us as many sessions as we needed so both us and her felt comfortable which was important to us being during lockdown.
