Claverdon Village Nursery is family owned, managed and run. They provide high quality care and education for children 0 - 5 years.

Set in a rural village location, they take pride in being part of the local community and have strong links with the village primary school.

Their dedicated Montessori classroom offers extensive preschool education and the Montessori ethos is embedded throughout the nursery.
At Claverdon, children learn practical life skills through independence, choice and free movement between classrooms.

They have a large, well planned outdoor space. Featuring a bespoke sandpit, mud kitchen and recently astroturfed play area. The garden is enjoyed in all weathers throughout the year.

Claverdon Village Nursery's team of highly qualified and dedicated staff, share a commitment to the wellbeing, care and development of all children.

The nursery has a full CCTV system, with cameras in all of the children's rooms and gardens.

The onsite nursery cook provides home cooked, nutritious meals everyday. She follows a balanced eight week menu where every meal is packed with hidden vegetables, all served with a seasonal vegetable accompaniment.

They can cater for all dietary requirements, use locally sourced ingredients where possible, including meat from a local butcher and glass bottled milk is delivered each morning from a local dairy.

Claverdon village nursery is a safe and fun environment for any child. My daughter was there from 2 until school. The nursery prepared her well for school and helped her develop her self confidence along with the social and emotional skills to move to school. My youngest son started in the baby room
from 9 months. All staff were very keen and proactive in how they managed his food allergies. The nursery manages transitions between baby and ‘big’ rooms well. All staff are friendly and take a genuine interest in all of the children. They adhere well to safeguarding principles and have adapted their provision well to adhere to covid guidelines as best they can. My children and others who’ve attended all appear to feel safe and secure when in the care of Claverton village nursery. The links between the nursery and school also provide a sense of belonging and make school transitions as easy as possible. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our daughter has attended for just over one year. From the very first settling sessions, she has been made to feel so very welcome, not just in the baby room but as we’ve gone through the building, by all staff. Our daughter is very fond of several people who work there and we are pleased these relationships
are encouraged and developed with more than just one specific key worker. Staff are attentive and caring and our daughter looks forwards to going and appears to really enjoy her time there. We feel the nursery has supported her in gaining confidence and developing new skills. On pick up and drop-offs, I’ve always really appreciated the details the staff share, what she’s been working on and what she’s enjoyed. A big appeal for us as parents were the toys selected and used in the nursery, which tend to be more natural and based around a Montessori approach. Communication from the nursery is clear, helpful and staff have always been professional, yet kind and caring.

All three of my daughters have been to Claverdon Village Nursery, with the youngest about to leave and move to Primary School. The manager and the team have gone above and beyond in helping us care for our girls - so much so we made her a Godmother!
I'd have no hesitation in recommending this lovely
nursery - your children will be raised in love and care. The nursery has strong links to the local community, and the children are often seen exploring the world around them - supervised closely of course.
If you are considering Claverdon for your children, I'd go for it - it's the best decision you can make and by far the best nursery in the local area.

My four-year-old son has attended Claverdon Village Nursery since he was seven months old. I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are so friendly and have been exceptional for my son's development. He has made so many friends and it will such a sad day when he leaves.

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was ten months old. The staff are so caring, attentive and friendly and know each child like it was their own. She has grown, developed and learnt so much from the nursery and has a wonderful group of friends. I would thoroughly recommend this village nursery

A lovely home from home nursery with the most wonderful and caring staff. The facilities are brilliant, in particular the outdoor space. My children have thoroughly enjoyed their time there and I would highly recommend.

Claverdon nursery is an excellent nursery. We have sent our 2 children to here and have been extremely happy. Our eldest daughter went to 2 nurseries before Claverdon Nursery.
It’s a family-run nursery. The staff are very experienced and knowledgeable in early years care. Staff retention is excellent.
They have worked really hard to make sure that the nursery is Covid-19 secure, but also ensure that it remains the same caring and very enjoyable environment for the children. Our youngest has several food allergies, but the staff have always been very attentive at managing this appropriately and enabled us to feel he is entirely safe in their care.
What makes Claverdon Nursery so special is it’s extremely nurturing. It is also part of a village community. I would highly recommend choosing to send your children here.

Mama, I love Nursery … those were the words of my daughter last Sunday when she asked if she was going to nursery and I said not today.
She's nearly 3 and has been attending for 2 years. As a parent, it's an immense relief to drop your child to nursery in the mornings knowing that they are enjoying
it and they're also well looked after. The staff is really attentive and caring and the facilities are very good. Nutrition was important to us when looking for a Nursery and the fact that the food is cooked on-site, varied and fresh is a big tick in the box.
Learning opportunities are diverse and on a personal note, the staff embraces the fact that my daughter is bilingual which is another big bonus for us.

I cannot recommend Claverdon Nursery enough! My daughter has been there since she was one and will be leaving this summer as she heads off to school and we are absolutely devastated her time there is now ending. The staff are incredible and genuinely love all the children, and the manager has continuously
bent over backwards to accommodate me, constantly changing my daughters days due to work commitments. There is absolutely nothing negative I could say towards Claverdon Nursery and can confidently say it has played a huge part in my daughter's happiness over the last few years. Keep up the good work guys!

My two children currently attend the nursery and I would highly recommend it as a place to enhance your children's development. My daughter, who is three this month, has been at the nursery for almost 18 months now. The staff have always been attentive and flexible in meeting the demands of my children
each day. They provide a variety of stimulating activities and have also worked methodically to develop my children's vocabulary and potty training. The menu is always freshly prepared each day on site. (You can witness this each morning as you drop your children off). They have also adapted to the current Covid-19 crisis, by ensuring high levels of cleanliness and thorough procedures for ensuring my children's safety each day. I have total confidence in their ability to keep them both safe at this worrying time. The greatest endorsement I can give to the nursery is that after seeing how they cared for my daughter, I then decided to send my son here. He has been there for nine months now.

Both my boys have been to this nursery and they have absolutely loved it. The Montessori element is amazing and they have learnt so much independence. My first boy was so ready for school as they helped him become confident before he left.
The staff are like family and both boys talk about the staff
so fondly as their best friends.
I recommend this nursery to all our friends, due to the love and warmth they give to my children.
