Claverdon Village Nursery is family owned, managed and run. They provide high quality care and education for children 0 - 5 years.

Set in a rural village location, they take pride in being part of the local community and have strong links with the village primary school.

Their dedicated Montessori classroom offers extensive preschool education and the Montessori ethos is embedded throughout the nursery.
At Claverdon, children learn practical life skills through independence, choice and free movement between classrooms.

They have a large, well planned outdoor space. Featuring a bespoke sandpit, mud kitchen and recently astroturfed play area. The garden is enjoyed in all weathers throughout the year.

Claverdon Village Nursery's team of highly qualified and dedicated staff, share a commitment to the wellbeing, care and development of all children.

The nursery has a full CCTV system, with cameras in all of the children's rooms and gardens.

The onsite nursery cook provides home cooked, nutritious meals everyday. She follows a balanced eight week menu where every meal is packed with hidden vegetables, all served with a seasonal vegetable accompaniment.

They can cater for all dietary requirements, use locally sourced ingredients where possible, including meat from a local butcher and glass bottled milk is delivered each morning from a local dairy.

Both my children have gone to Claverdon nursery from just before their 1st birthday. We have always been delighted with Claverdon nursery. Both kids would run in at the start of each day and always come out smiling with lots of artwork they have created. There is a really good outdoor play area and
they do so many different activities each day. The staff are lovely and the food they serve is really good. My eldest has just started school and Claverdon nursery has given him such a good start that he's transitioned easily and is loving school.

Lovely nursery for my lovely daughter. The staff that work with my daughter are highly experienced and offer myself and my husband a great insight into our daughter's day and welfare. My daughter is very happy to arrive at nursery each day and the staff appear to enjoy her and understand her very well.

I can't speak highly enough of Claverdon nursery. They have gone above and beyond for me and my two little ones. Their expertise and care for what they do is undeniable. The help and support they have given my family with my son who has additional needs has been amazing. I will be so sad when we leave

Claverdon Nursery has been a wonderful experience for our daughter-after just one week, she returned home with new skills, growing confidence, and a genuine love for going each day. Our daughter has attended this nursery since she was 6 months old, she's now 4, and we couldn't be happier. The team are incredible: warm, caring, and genuinely dedicated to each child's happiness and development. From day one, they've created such a safe, nurturing environment where our little girl
has truly thrived. She's grown in confidence, independence, and curiosity, and absolutely loves coming in every day. My little girl loves going to Claverdon, she practically runs in every morning. She has grown so much there with regards to her speech and confidence. It has just been amazing to see. She is so happy and settled there and that is all because of how kind the staff are. They really get to know your little

Warm and friendly staff.
They take an excellent care of my child.
I love that the nursery feels like home and have so many activities for the children.
I am kept informed about my child progress and every concern I had regarding my child (not related to the nursery) it is always addressed and I got
listened to and re-assured or worked together for a plan.
My child food requirements are being respected.
Everything is used in the nursery including the cleaning products are child friendly which is a big relief.

She always has a wonderful time there and is always happy to go. All the staff are fantastic and I feel my daughter gets the perfect balance of fun, play and learning.

Our daughter loves attending Claverdon Village Nursery, so much so that she rarely looks back walking in, and goes "bye mummy / daddy!" The team run the nursery excellently, with a great deal of genuine care for our daughter. Independence is fostered and good manners are built upon. Lots of variety
in activities, with plenty of time outside too, and our daughter has even started learning French once a week. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery to our friends, and frequently sing its praises.

As a first time mother to a very sensitive child, I was so worried about the 'home-to-nursery' transition.
However, that was over a year ago now and my child absolutely adores going to Claverdon Village Nursery every day. The staff are so kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. It truly feels like you're
leaving your child in the care of family who care just as much about their wellbeing.
The nursery provides a welcoming, safe and nurturing environment day in day out, further enhanced by special additions such as music sessions or book reading afternoons.
As parents, we couldn't be happier with the nursery we've chosen for our child. Thank you Claverdon Village Nursery.

Really great nursery and my little one is thriving! He loves all the children and staff at the nursery. Every time I drop him off he's excited, and I leave slightly hungry after smelling the delicious food being cooked by the onsite cook.

The absolute best nursery around! Our little boy started here when he was only 10 months old and is now two and a half. He has come on leaps and bounds and has made such a good bond with the caregivers. He's quite a shy and sensitive boy but the staff have been amazing with him and he absolutely loves
going in every morning.
The nursery is homely, warm and clean, and it makes me feel comfortable knowing my child is in safe hands throughout the day. As well as this, the food is made fresh daily and is packed with variety.
The nursery keep me well informed of any updates/news and everyone is super friendly and helpful. Thank you for all you do - would always recommend this nursery to others.

The staff are so caring and lovely there's a real family atmosphere.
There are so many activities for the children and the outside space is big with a good variety of activities / play areas for the kids.

Claverdon Village Nursery is just fabulous, everyone is so friendly and all of the staff seem to know all of the children really well, even if they don’t directly work with them. My daughter absolutely loves her time there and often even at weekends goes and finds her nursery bag as if she’s wanting
to go to nursery. Her social skills have come on no end and it’s lovely to get updates from them of the activities that she gets up to and how she interacts with the other children there. Highly recommend Claverdon Nursery.

My child has been at Claverdon Village Nursery for a lengthy period now, staff are absolutely amazing. They have a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the developmental and emotional needs of children and a real passion for the children they work with.
They are supportive and go above and beyond
to ensure the individual needs of children are met. My child has really progressed in this setting, they really are wonderful I cannot emphasise this enough, this setting is highly recommended.
