Budbrooke House Children's Nursery is an Ofsted 'Outstanding' Preschool in Warwick (inspected October 2018).

They are based in a purpose-built pre-school. Their setting features a large outdoor space, with wooden play equipment designed to capture the attention of young minds.

Their experienced team provides a safe and caring environment for children 0 to 5 years. They are open from 07:30 - 18:00, 51 weeks of the year. They are closed from 24th December - 2nd January and all bank holidays. They do not charge for the Christmas closure.

Budbrooke House is a family owned, managed and run nursery in the Warwickshire countryside. They have close links with the local primary school and often join them for activities.

The nursery has a full HD CCTV system, with cameras in all of the children's rooms and gardens. The safety of the children in their care is paramount at all times.

From the preschool parents have easy access to the major road networks – the A46 and M40, and moments away from Warwick Parkway train station for trains to Birmingham, London and beyond.

Their onsite qualified nursery cook provides wholesome, balanced, home cooked meals everyday. They follow an extensive eight week menu with each meal packed with hidden vegetables and pulses. They serve meals with a seasonal vegetable accompaniment.

They can cater for all dietary requirements and use locally sourced ingredients where possible. Each week they have a delivery from a local butcher as well as glass bottled milk from a local dairy daily.

Since my grandson has been at this nursery I can’t believe how he’s grown in all areas, his speech, interaction with others, confidence etc, I could go on! The staff are marvellous and treat the little ones as individuals, not just numbers which is imperative as we all rely on this to enable them to
grow into their own little characters and he had certainly flourished and it’s a joy to see.

Fantastic nursery! My son has attended for the past 2.5 years full time and he loves it. Great food, fabulous development and they have prepared him for school in September. Couldn’t ask for more, very happy!

This nursery is outstanding and both my children have loved going here. The staff are wonderful and feel like an extended family. The children have a huge variety of activities available to them throughout the day and the outside space is incredible. Everything your child does is posted on an app which
is great for when your children get a bit older and can talk you through their day when they get home. The food is freshly prepared and they serve really interesting and nutritious meals, things I wouldn’t have time to prepare at home after work. The preschool also prepares them so well for school that my eldest child adjusted to school life really well. Your child will thrive here.

The staff at Budbrooke house have become a family to me. They are friendly, approachable and kind. Each and every staff member truly enjoys their vocation and it really shows.
My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her experiences at preschool. She began at the baby nursery in Warwick before moving here.
The nursery is resource-rich and the learning opportunities are second to none.
My family are so grateful for the wonderful upbringing you have offered to our daughter. We will miss you so much once September comes around. Thank you thank you thank you!

My son absolutely adores coming to preschool. He walks in with a big smile on his face and talks so openly about his day when we get home. The team are friendly and approachable and understand my son's needs. He eats a varied and healthy diet at nursery and I often wonder how to get him to eat the same
at home. I am thrilled with the new app the nursery are using. I understand it was a big investment for them, but they seem to care so much about the nursery and its equipment. Thank you Budbrooke House.

Both our children have been with Budbrooke from 1yr until they went up to school.
We have been very happy with the care and attention that the girls have had, the teachers have always cared and made time to explain anything that happened during the day be it good or bad.
The kids have thrived with

Our eldest is just finishing pre-school (having started at 8 months in baby nursery) and has thoroughly enjoyed her time. The staff are all excellent, especially since COVID measures came into place.
Our daughter has really developed in terms of her knowledge and communication skills whilst at pre-school.
This has played a big part in how she is fully ready for primary school now.
The outdoor space is a big plus as the children spend a lot of time outside.
The staff are friendly and approachable if you ever have any queries or concerns.
Would thoroughly recommend.

My daughter has attended both preschool and baby nursery and has been very well cared for at both. She has always loved going to nursery and always comes out full of beans and telling us of the lovely things she’s done that day. Every member of staff is kind, caring and approachable and their handling
of the lockdown situation was exemplary, with constant communication with parents.

We are coming to the end of 7 years with Budbrooke and they have been brilliant from the first day I dropped my eldest off.
Both sites have always been clean and tidy and sometimes when I hear what food they have been eating I wish I'd had lunch with them!
We chose Budbrooke as they had a really caring
enviroment and everything I have seen since only supports that. They really take an interest in what the kids have been up to and take the time to tell you what they have been up to and any funny stories (with my youngest there usually is many!) Both my girls have flourished at Budbrooke and I would recommend them to anyone.

I have two children at Budbrooke House currently and an older child who attended previously. The nursery has a family-feel and all of the staff are absolutely amazing.
We like that there is a very low staff turnover which means that the staff get to know the children well and understand their interests
- so the children feel happy and secure.
It is a world away from the ‘corporate’ environment offered by larger nursery chains.
There is a real investment in a child’s development and emphasis on making sure that the transition to school is as seamless as it can be.
The food menu is lovely - really healthy and also very popular with my children.
We would highly recommend!

Fantastic nursery, my Daughter loved her time here she developed so much and that’s down to the hard-working enthusiastic staff. She always came out happy and looked forward to going in and made some lovely friends while there. I highly recommend this nursery it’s fab.

Our two youngest children have both been at Budbrooke ( both baby nursery and then the annexe) and I cannot recommend more highly. We also have two older children so have used other nurseries but they don’t even compare. There is such a warm, family feel to this place. Children are treated as individuals
and the whole team all know them very well. The staff are exceptional and the children learn without even knowing they are learning. In my opinion exactly how it should be at this age. No pressure- just lots of fun! Our daughter left a couple of years ago and has done amazingly at school- they really prepared her for reception. Our son is now in pre-school and loving it. All the staff are consistent and committed. A great management team and wonderful key workers. They have provided lots of information over recent months to reassure parents and children alike. Our son is very safe and very happy here. We shall all miss the Budbrooke family in September.

I would echo all positive comments - our child was happy and confident in their environment, and able to form caring adult and child relationships and do so many activities that all very clearly furthered their learning and development.
I would like to offer an additional perspective on the nursery
as the parent of a child diagnosed with autism. Our child was referred for ASD assessment by our health visitor shortly after starting at this nursery. The nursery was a vital part of the assessment journey, post-diagnosis and in preparation for school, providing proactive practical (and emotional) support as we found our feet as a family in this sphere.
Our child was given so much individual care, love and support to develop well but at their own pace - but never at the expense of other children, who seemed likewise individually nurtured just as well.
We could not be more confident that the staff at Budbrooke House are true champions for the children they care for.

Where do I even start? I have never known a group of nurseries who care so much for the infants, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. All the kids seem to want to stay there. My little cousin eats so well at nursery and tells me everything he eats throughout his day, sometimes I wish I could
go! The facilities there are incredible, the gardens look so well kept and the kids are always busy learning something new every day. I’ve never seen it look untidy, and there are always new things to be updated on, on the Facebook page which is always lovely to watch. Keep doing what you’re doing, I will definitely be recommending you guys left, right and centre.

The team have always made me feel very welcome when picking my nephew up from nursery. He gets very excited to go in the morning and often doesn’t want to come home! We are very happy here and recommend the nursery to anyone local, looking for a safe and caring nursery.

I am so pleased that I found this pre-school. I moved my oldest daughter to here over three years ago. The care, guidance and individualised planning was second to none and put her in a brilliant position both socially and academically to start school. My second child now attends and the nursery
certainly hasn't lost its touch. The staff work exceptionally hard to ensure that my daughter feels safe and secure. They always have time for both you and your child, they listen carefully and are genuinely interested in each and every one of their little personalities, likes, dislikes and loves.

My grandson recently moved to this nursery from the younger age group nursery. The move went really well, the staff at the younger nursery bring them often to ensure they are familiar with their new surroundings. He settled really well with the help of friendly compassionate staff and lovely areas
to play in. A super nursery.

We have been thrilled with the care our daughter has received from the moment we moved her from another nursery. She has attended since being a baby (she is 3.5 now) and most importantly, she loves it. She has made super friends and adores her carers. The staff know her well, talk to us, and do not
change: we have enjoyed the same familiar faces throughout.
Children learn through fun at Budbrooke. She is able to choose her activities and in one day can cover dancing, singing, circle time, letters, painting, outdoors..... it's a very wholesome mix of experiences. Children are encouraged to have good manners and to eat well. The outdoor space is used very well.
Through lockdown the nursery kept in touch very well and set up a parents group which I found very reassuring as it helped to share ideas and experiences. They kept us up to date with all developments and preparations for return.
Overall, they are friendly and professional. I can't imagine it being any better.

Excellent setting with great staff. Our daughter transitioned from another nursery (with a view to attending Budbrooke school) and immediately loved it! She has thrived and progressed a lot and created strong bonds with the very caring staff. She will be sad to leave when it will be time to move to
reception.
We were also pleasantly surprised at the various improvements and changes that were carried out during lockdown, at a time when most companies would try to limit their spending! We would not hesitate to recommend to other parents, it is a great place.

This nursery is fantastic, the staff are friendly and caring and my daughter has developed so much since attending. During the covid lockdown, they kept us all informed of what was happening and of all the changes they have made to ensure it’s safe when the children returned. I would fully recommend

Louise has been at Budbrooke House for over 25 years! She holds an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare.

Katharine is our Job share and preschool manager.


She has worked with nursery owners for over 15 years.


She has worked in all aspects of a nursery.


She achieved an NVQ Level 3 in her Early Years and has continually developed her professional status over the years.


Katharine holds a current and up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certificate and is one of the settings Designated Safeguarding Leads.
