Budbrooke House Children's Nursery is an Ofsted 'Outstanding' Preschool in Warwick (inspected October 2018).

They are based in a purpose-built pre-school. Their setting features a large outdoor space, with wooden play equipment designed to capture the attention of young minds.

Their experienced team provides a safe and caring environment for children 0 to 5 years. They are open from 07:30 - 18:00, 51 weeks of the year. They are closed from 24th December - 2nd January and all bank holidays. They do not charge for the Christmas closure.

Budbrooke House is a family owned, managed and run nursery in the Warwickshire countryside. They have close links with the local primary school and often join them for activities.

The nursery has a full HD CCTV system, with cameras in all of the children's rooms and gardens. The safety of the children in their care is paramount at all times.

From the preschool parents have easy access to the major road networks – the A46 and M40, and moments away from Warwick Parkway train station for trains to Birmingham, London and beyond.

Their onsite qualified nursery cook provides wholesome, balanced, home cooked meals everyday. They follow an extensive eight week menu with each meal packed with hidden vegetables and pulses. They serve meals with a seasonal vegetable accompaniment.

They can cater for all dietary requirements and use locally sourced ingredients where possible. Each week they have a delivery from a local butcher as well as glass bottled milk from a local dairy daily.

Absolutely personal experience with the staff when it comes to my child and clearly other children from my daily observation. Amazingly capable of making a parent and child feel like they are "the special one". The best person to give an honest review is the actual child at the nursery based on their
conduct and willingness to attend school and in my child's case the little person enjoys attending nursery which to me is the most important indication. Always have peace of mind dropping off my child every morning and looking forward to seeing what new activities they did towards character building. No regrets at this moment.

Wonderful staff, the preschool is such a lovely setting. The staff at preschool are so lovely and they make every day special and interesting for the children. I feel confident every time I drop off my daughter that her day will be fun and she is look after to such a high standard of care, which is

Outstanding setting with lovely, kind, friendly and trusting staff. My little one (who joined when 1 year old) really enjoys it, has learnt a lot and has made many friends along the way. My child always talks about their day and how much fun they have had. I can see how much more independent my child
has become since joining the setting, which I know will help when they start primary school.

Fabulous preschool where my son is absolutely thriving. A plethora of activities for the children, amazing outdoor space. A great, varied curriculum and i am constantly amazed with what my son has learnt.

We are so happy with Budbrooke House preschool for our little boy. Right from his first visit before transitioning from baby nursery, we have been made to feel so supported and welcome. Interaction with all the staff has been really positive - both in terms of day-to-day updates and hearing about overall
progress. We appreciate always being greeted by a smiley face and caring attitude. Such a fantastic wide range of activities every day, the creativity is impressive! With plenty of scope for the children to learn to follow instructions, play with their peers and reflect their own individual interests.

A fantastic nursery setting! My son absolutely adores everyone there. The myriad daily activities are extremely well thought out to combine the maximum amount of fun with cleverly added ways to learn as they go. I have seen my son blossom from a quite grumpy about it child, to one who thoroughly enjoys
his day, chats all the way home and gets so much out of it. His learning and comprehension has improved so much since starting in May. The nursery staff go above and beyond every single day to engage each child, offering them their time and attention and this can be seen in bucket loads by the amount of happy, smiling children bounding out to their parents each night. The app is very well received in our house, we love seeing what he gets up to. Thank you to all the staff who take time to input the children and their day. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery setting. A happy, happy place. My only regret is that I did not find them when my first child was young enough to go!

Budbrooke House has been the best place for my grandson. He has blossomed since he began and absolutely loves the place and all the staff. He says he has so much fun. His language, already very good has come on amazingly. His number work and letter work is improving all the time. The food he eats is
wonderful and has expanded his diet! He loves nursery, we love the nursery.

This setting exceeds my expectations regularly! They offer such wonderful learning opportunities for children both inside and outside. Lovely place and friendly staff. They do lots of activities every day, which is helping my son to learn a lot.
He was a shy kid when he started, but now is much confident. Also, the transition at the beginning when he started at baby nursery was great, from not seeing any people at all from just us
three(during covid), to spending time with lots of new people, staff have helped/cared a lot. Highly recommended.

Budbrooke House Preschool has been a big part of my little girl's development. She has gone from a shy pre schooler, reluctant to go through the front door, to a confident little pre schooler, excited to see her friends.
The staff helped her settle in brilliantly and also helped to alleviate some of
my worries surrounding her transitioning from baby nursery to preschool. The staff are welcoming and friendly and her keyworker has been the same since she started, which I find reassuring. I would recommend this preschool to other parents/ guardians.

My daughter is very happy there. The transition between nursery and preschool was so smooth that she is happy every day. After a few weeks of attending preschool, I can notice she learns many new things. She talks more, shows interest in things she didn't before, already has friends there. Highly recommend.

An outstanding nursery. The staff genuinely care about the children. The activities are great. My son has learnt so much, even French, at 3 years old! They give the children healthy food. It is just so comforting to know and trust that your children are being looked after so well.

From the moment my little boy started preschool at Budbrooke it has been absolutely exceptional! He absolutely loves going, so much so he asks if he's going on a Saturday! The way the day is structured really works for him and gives him the opportunity to make his own decisions. He has developed significantly
in all areas since starting, every day I notice changes which is really quite incredible!
The staff are wonderful and create a real personable bond with the children! Putting your child in the care of people every day while you're working is really quite scary so it was super important to me we made the right choice as it was going to be critical to his start into the education system, it would affect how he views the experience and I can honestly say it has been truly perfect! They have given him the best possible start! Every day is fun, varied and educational! We will be super sad to leave when he starts school in September but he will remember his time at Budbrooke forever!

My child loves going to Budbrooke Pre-School. We have never had an issue with her going in and she always leaves full of smiles! She gets a variety of learning experiences, she especially enjoys learning French.

At every step of my daughter's nursery journey, from starting at around age twelve months through to this year when she is being prepared for primary school, I have had the utmost confidence in the team at Budbrooke House Children's Nursery - Preschool in regards to my daughter's happiness and well-being.

This is a fantastic preschool and I can't recommend more highly! My child is very happy here and has developed significantly in all skills. Although English is not her first language, her progress was remarkable due to the excellent support. She has settled very quickly and well, being encouraged by
lovely staff, who are both caring and knowledgeable. The staff form strong bonds with the children and the feel is that of an extended family. They are exceptional in every way, always there with a big smile to greet the children and parents and equally happy to take the time to discuss and assist. Everything from their meals to their daily activities is planned so well. Outstanding facilities for the children, with a great variety of fun activities in a safe environment both indoors and outdoors. Also, during those difficult months, the staff has made an incredible effort to offer the best care for the children and support for the families. I am thankful to each member of staff for their hard work and dedication.

Budbrooke's team is always so pleasant to liaise with, whilst their absolutely brilliant child development app' provides parents with a much appreciated and detailed outline of what our kiddies have been getting up to on a daily basis. It's so useful to know what activities have been undertaken as
they can be incorporated into topics of discussion after pick-ups. I know our little boy loves his time at Budbrooke, so there's little else you could ask for.

Because of Covid, we found ourselves in the extraordinary position of having to find a new nursery for our newly turned three year old - an extremely hard feat considering how much we adored our old nursery. So I was delighted to find Budbrooke House, a place that shared our ethos of free flow play,
mixing of age groups and an outside classroom. Although we only started last month, Jan '21, we have been thoroughly impressed by the staff's dedication and support - they really seem to know our child well and take genuine pleasure in his achievements. Above all, if you are looking for a nursery that isn't part of a corporate franchise, where your child is stuck in a room for much of the day with structured activities, then this is the place for you.

Our 3-year-old son transferred to Budbrooke Children’s Nursery in September 2020. He was a shy boy, lacked confidence around other children (despite attending nursery full time from the age of 9 months old), and would cry on route to his old nursery. Within days we noticed a huge difference. Our beautiful
boy was beaming with joy upon arrival to Budbrooke, his confidence rocketed, as did his want to learn. We cannot thank all those that work at Budbrooke enough for their constant love and support. They truly are like a home from home for the children. Thank you so much.

Louise has been at Budbrooke House for over 25 years! She holds an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare.


Louise has a current Paediatric First aid certificate and is one of the Nursery's Designated Safeguarding Leads. Louise is the nursery Sendco.

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2015

Katharine is our Job share and preschool manager.


She has worked with nursery owners for over 15 years.


She has worked in all aspects of a nursery.


She achieved an NVQ Level 3 in her Early Years and has continually developed her professional status over the years.


Katharine holds a current and up-to-date Paediatric First Aid certificate and is one of the settings Designated Safeguarding Leads.
