A fantastic nursery that has really helped my daughter come in leaps and bounds! She wasn’t a very sociable baby and wasn’t keen on other babies or children but since going to nursery, she’s much more sociable and actually likes other kids now. She loves everyone there and always has a great time.

Our little girl thoroughly enjoys attending Bright Kids at Studley. It took her a while to settle in but now she barely acknowledges us as she walks in! The staff have been very helpful and encouraging during her settling in period, as we both found it hard when leaving her when she was upset and they
were great at reassuring us.
It’s really helped her confidence and activities catch her attention and keep her occupied and stimulated. She also enjoys the food and it’s helped her try new things too.
I would definitely recommend Bright Kids at Studley, we are very happy to have our daughter there.

My son started nursery at bright kids, in studley this year. I was nervous about leaving him at first but just by his settling in sessions I knew this was the place for him!
Theyve not only looked after him beautifully, he is being taught new things every day, his speech has came on so much and his
behaviour has settled at home as he can now communicate properly. They are like a big family at bright kids! There is always activities happening, staff are wonderful, Highly recommend to all!

We have been going to Stay 'n' Play for a while now and my son loves it! The staff have always been warm, welcoming and my son enjoys interacting with them. It's lovely to go to Stay 'n' Play before my son starts going to nursery to get to know the staff and environment. He spent a session in the nursery
and waved bye to me! I can't wait for him to start soon.

Cannot praise Bright Kids at Studley enough. My 3 yr old has been here since September. From the initial visit, settling sessions and now his regular session I have felt nothing but confidence my son is in the right nursery. All staff I have met have been so friendly and especially staff in preschool
have gone the extra mile to settle him and reassure us as parents. The best review is my 3-year-old coming home very happy and role-playing at home I know it’s a wonderful nursery.

The nursery has been great in settling my little boy, spending time with him to ensure he has made the transition to a new environment with relative ease. Staff have all been fantastic, really friendly and knowledgeable. It’s good to get an update on what my child has been doing when I pick him up;
it’s given me the complete reassurance I need to know my child is happy and safe. I can’t thank those in Sunbeams enough for the care they have shown to my child in the short time he’s been there or for their patience with us when we’ve called to check he’s ok.

The only criticism would be fees and how they are calculated. I would have preferred to know staff training days are likely to be Fridays when I signed up as my child only attends 2 days a week (Friday being one) so we are out of pocket and having to also find other childcare when the nursery closes. April saw the nursery close for 2 consecutive weeks that we had to pay for - not a small sum of money.

We use the nursery and the breakfast club/after school club. The team at Brightkids Studley are lovely and my children both love attending here.
The nursery offers such a variety of things to do to keep the little ones busy and they have a great range of equipment/toys/books/etc.

A friendly, fantastic nursery which has helped build my son's confidence prior to him attending school. He learnt so much during his time at Bright Kids that he was fully equipped to start school. He now enjoys attending the holiday club.

Current Review Score: 9.3 (9.349)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.3 (9.349) out of 10 for Bright Kids Studley is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 7 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.4 out of 5 from 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.976 for Bright Kids Studley is calculated as follows: ( (82 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 84 Ratings = 4.976
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.373 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Kids Studley is based on 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.7
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 52 number of registered child places is 10.4. 7 Positive Reviews ÷ 10.4 = 0.673
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2018

I have been working with Bright Kids for 3 years now. Previously I progressed my way through many jobs in a nursery in Evesham for 8 years, as childcare has always been a passion of mine. I am the eldest in my family and I have always taken that motherly caring approach with any younger family members, and have always loved to help them in any way I could. This is the main reason for choosing the childcare career path.

I hold a Level 3 in Childcare and Education and have been enjoying my roles for 11 years in total. When starting with Bright Kids I began as a nursery nurse, which I then progressed onto a room leader, then a senior and now the deputy manager. I absolutely love my job, and I take such pride in helping the children to develop and grow while giving them an enjoyable nursery experience. Knowing that I am a part of so many children’s journeys is such an amazing feeling and getting to know them and their families is an absolute privilege.
