Corner House Lawton Road is a well-established and respected nursery within the diverse and thriving community of Alsager.

Corner House Lawton Road operates from a large converted house in a residential area with a private car park and is a short walk from the centre of Alsager. It is a lively and bustling town with a strong community spirit, shops, schools, parks, a lake and a leisure centre close by.

The children are cared for in four age appropriate rooms and the majority open out onto exciting and challenging outdoor areas.

A team of highly motivated, qualified and experienced practitioners provide well planned and resourced play and learning experiences that reflect and respect each child’s individual interests and learning styles.

Generally very happy with Townhouse!
Staff make special activities based on my children’s likes and interests. They really go out of their way to encourage my children’s development and learning.
If I could give any constructive feedback I would say that perhaps tapestry could be more of an instant
thing so I could check-in on my children whilst I’m at work. I’m not sure how realistic this is because I know staff are busy. Perhaps just some pictures, no analysis would work?
Occasionally the office has been too slow to get back to me, sometimes emails have not been answered.

Townhouse is an Excellent nursery, we are made to feel very welcome by all staff. The level of care and homely environment the baby room and nursery provide is very reassuring.
Our son has settled very well thanks to the amazing staff in the baby room, we have nothing but praise for them and the
level of care they provide.
Always thankful every day for all that the team do and continue to do.
We absolutely love the weekly photos and interaction we get uploaded to tapestry about the fantastic activities they’ve been up to and the daily diaries are great to see the variety of meals they’ve had.
I would definitely recommend Townhouse Nursery.

My daughter started at this nursery in June 2018 following her previous nursery closing suddenly. I can’t fault the staff and the nursery as a whole they have been brilliant since my daughter started! There is so much going on for the children and my daughter has settled in so well. Would highly recommend
to anyone.

Both our children have attended Townhouse from the baby room through to preschool. We chose Townhouse because of its homely feel, all the staff were so warm and friendly we knew our child would be really happy and well looked after there. We have nothing but praise and good words to say about Townhouse
all the staff have been fabulous and both children have been extremely happy and well cared for at Townhouse :)

Fantastic nursery! My daughter has enjoyed the last 3 years here and I cannot fault them at all in the care, support, commitment and love they have provided not only to my daughter but the whole family when needed. My little girl has come out confident, happy and school ready.
It has been such a positive
experience I have now enrolled my youngest daughter (currently 5 months old) to join when I return to work.

My little one had a wonderful experience here from the Baby room right up to Pre-school. The staff all show a huge amount of support and encouragement for each and every child, constantly thinking of new ideas for activities (and things to do at home). Choosing a nursery for your child is scary; finding someone to trust with your precious children was a difficult decision. Choosing Townhouse is a decision that we've never regretted.


The children all get fantastic experiences in a loving and nurturing environment. The opportunity for indoor and

outdoor play is fabulous. The staff are constantly thinking of new ways to engage the children and to help them learn.


My eldest child has additional needs. She was included and cared for as I only could have dreamed. She was supported and given the optimal care in an inclusive environment. This was fantastic for her and her peers.


Townhouse's policies ensure that my children gain confidence, they are taught skills and most importantly have fun in learning. They grew as individuals. An incredible facility.


Staff and management are supportive, engaging and asking what they could do more. They participate in the local community - what more could we ask for?!

Excellent nursery. My son has settled in wonderfully. Baby room staff are amazing and have always helped in any way they can regarding my son's care.
They offer to change his bum before he goes home if we are not going straight home.
They encourage him with all different activities and he has come
on massively since starting at Townhouse

I could not recommend Townhouse highly enough. The communication and feedback I receive are fantastic, whether that be verbal, via email or through the tapestry portal. I feel assured that my son is safe and secure whilst in their care and every effort is made to attend to his individual needs.

My son has attended Townhouse since he was 10 months old, three days a week. He has absolutely loved the baby room and has just started in the toddler room. The staff are all outstanding. The little details, the learning, the meals and feedback to parents couldn't be any better in my eyes. We are huge
fans of Townhouse and wouldn't look anywhere else to send my son.

My son has been coming to Townhouse since he was 9 months old. He loves coming and is making progress in leaps and bounds, which is definitely helped by the brilliant staff who work with him. He is very settled and happy here which means I am happy leaving him!


Nothing is a problem for Townhouse,

my son has allergies and they have gone out of their way to talk through food, medication etc with me.
Safety is no issue throughout the nursery.
All the staff will take the time to chat with you and are always bubbly and genuinely interested.
All in all, my son is extremely happy here!

Townhouse Nursery is amazing!!!! I can't thank them enough for how they have been with my little one, he is nearly 3 and has only just started attending. I think that must be more difficult as they have begun to know their own mind and routines. Townhouse have catered for him unbelievably and he has
created lovely bonds with the ladies he comes home full of excitement and stories of what he has been doing that day. The food is outstanding!!!


I was very nervous about sending him to a nursery as he had not been in this setting before and they have looked after me and let me call to check on him and been so lovely to an obsessive mother.


I would have absolutely no reservations about recommending Townhouse to anybody, he is thriving and loving every visit.

I have three children who have all attended Townhouse before going off to school. Townhouse staff are so warm and caring. They really look after the children in their care and make sure that they have fun whilst learning new things. The staff carefully plan learning experiences and try hard to keep
up to date with new ideas. Townhouse has excellent home setting links too. They actively encourage parents to be involved e.g. in mark making workshops and special events. My children all loved going to nursery. They felt loved and safe in the setting. I would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents. As a working parent, I wanted the best for my children whilst I couldn't be with them. I trusted the staff with my babies and they nurtured them and helped them grow. I moved my three-year-old son to the Townhouse at the beginning of the year and my daughter has also started the baby room in May. The nursery is outstanding on all levels, I just wish I'd moved my son earlier as it was the best decision! The staff have so much genuine compassion for the children, they
get to know them so well and use that knowledge to make everyday fun! When I drop them off I feel 100 percent reassured that they are being nurtured and developed in the most caring environment. The menus are fabulous, such variety (puts my cooking to shame!!) and the cook is a big part of the nursery, she's very passionate about her job. All the staff are fantastic!!!

My son started at this nursery in Jan 2016 and was placed in the toddler room and assigned a key worker. He had settling in sessions and all aspects of the nursery procedures were explained to us. Really good points were: chatterboxes (filled with familiar toys) and papers allowing parents to communicate
any areas of interest for the child.
The nursery is clean and seems well resourced. The menu is varied and even my fussy eater tends to eat most of his meals and has tried lots of new foods. A bonus for us is that nappies & wipes are provided- one less thing to remember on those busy mornings!
Staff are cheerful and friendly and my son has formed some real bonds with them. He also spends a lot of time outdoors- a real positive for us. We have already put our name down for our daughter to start there soon.

Our Daughter started 2 days a week at Townhouse Lawton Road in June 2015 in the Baby room, firstly choosing a nursery is never easy but we found the professionalism, safety and facilities to be fantastic so we settled on here. Being our first child we were as expected a little nervous at leaving her,
however we were assured at every step with plenty of updates and found the settling in sessions very useful but we needn't have been worried as after a few sessions was clear to see that she was in safe hands and enjoying it. Our daughter has since moved on to Toddlers 1 where she continues to enjoy nursery. We have also seen her develop and flourish in toddlers 1 with her interaction, language skills and play all coming on superbly to which we thank the staff for the time and thought they put into creating varied sessions. Overall we are very happy with Townhouse Lawton Road and feel our precious daughter is in safe, caring and professional hands.

My son has been at Townhouse since he was 10 months old. We viewed every nursery locally and Townhouse really stood out compared to the others. It's the staff that really make it what it is. They all show a genuine interest in each child and their development. The handovers and daily diaries really
are superb and the onsite chef really works hard in offering a well-balanced healthy menu each day. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Townhouse and their wonderful team. Thank you.

Our daughter started Townhouse in June 2015 and has had a great experience so far. The daily diaries and daily feedback at the end of each day are great, knowing exactly what has gone on during her time at nursery each day is really reassuring including everything to when she has slept and how much
and what food she has eaten. She really enjoys all the food at nursery and it's lovely to know its all home cooked onsite. The activities completed and outside space are fab and facilities and toys are all very well maintained and looked after. The members of staff are more than happy to help and really listen to your child's individual needs and interests including these in nursery life to create brilliant nursery and home life links. We are happy and confident in the care our daughter receives and would definitely recommend Townhouse.
