Nelly's Nursery

My son has been attending Nelly's for the last year and we as parents have been satisfied with the service received by Nelly's. The staff are very attentive to my child’s needs with supporting him when he had a problem with his speech. Since the nursery has changed management it appears to be getting better and offering a better experience for my child. I would highly recommend Nellys Nursey to family and friends.

Our little girl has been attending Nellys for a few months now and absolutely loves it! She always has a smile for the nursery staff and has genuinely come on leaps and bounds since starting. As she is a ‘lockdown’ baby, it is so nice to see her interacting with the nursery staff and her friends. The parent zone app is great so we can see what she is getting up to throughout the day.

I chose Nellys Nursery based purely on my interactions with the Nursery Manager, having not been able to look around due to the pandemic. The Nursery Manager understood and sympathised with my worries about leaving my baby, especially as we had not been apart throughout his 13 months. I have not regretted choosing Nellys at all. The staff took time to get to know my baby and his usual routine and preferences and they mimic this as much as possible. My son has only been going there for 6 weeks but during this time he has thrived. He consistently has the same nursery key worker greet him in the morning, and he now associates there as being a happy place and goes inside without any tears. They send me fantastic updates during the day of all the activities he does, and eats things he would never do at home! We speak two languages at home and they even play him songs in the other language as well as English. Nellys deserves its outstanding rating, they've been wonderful during this time.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough! My boy has been there 18 months and they have been brilliant in meeting his needs especially dietary requirements and getting my little one interested in food (something dieticians had failed to manage). Their patience and kindness are amazing. I receive regular information about my boy's progress and learning and his development has come on leaps and bounds. The nursery has transitioned to new ownership amid a global pandemic and this has been seamless which definitely deserves credit! Amid Covid they have put in appropriate cleaning and protective measures to keep our little one safe and have remained open which, as a key worker, it has been amazing to go to work knowing my boy is as safe as he can be. My little one adores the staff and chats about them regularly at home and what he has done with them. I would 100% recommend this nursery I was an anxious mum leaving him to return to work but I know this is one decision I definitely got right!

Our son has attended the nursery for almost 2 years now - we are very happy with the service the nursery provides and our son appears to be very content there. His needs are fulfilled and he is fond of the staff and has always shown enthusiasm to attend. The nursery has dealt with issues arising out of the Covid pandemic with great care and attention, providing a service throughout the last year, which has been critical to us as key workers. Just prior to the switch from Tapestry to Parentzone, there was less daily online communication, but that now appears to have resolved.
