Nelly's Nursery

Nelly's has been so much more than a nursery for our child over the past 2 years. Our son, who has individual needs and found being around other children very difficult, found a place of safety and understanding at Nelly's. They encouraged and supported him in ways that enabled socilisation on his terms and this helped develop his sense of belonging. Its been an additional home where hebfelt secure, valued and encouraged every day. Nelly's supported our family as a whole with events and coffee mornings, including us in our child's learning journey with them. We will always be grateful to Nelly's for their role in our child's development and happiness

We are so pleased with our experience at Nellys - since viewing the nursery in 2022 to now with both our children attending the setting. Nellys has always been brilliant but we feel that over the last few months, it has just got better and better with really strong management (thank you Charlotte, Jenny - Joanne), a wonderful team of caregivers and regular & clear communication. Both our children look forward to coming to nursery & we are provided very regular updates on their routines and the activities they have undertaken each day. All the current staff members that we interact with are amazing but we must give a special mention to Kya, Sophie, Helen, Rachael & Wendy in Owls, Jess and Lisa in Robins (and Rachael before she changed rooms), and Megan, Brook and Becky in Wrens - these are the staff who have either been key workers for our children or who have recently looked after them. Our eldest in particular is always telling us how much she loves her teachers. Thanks Nellys!

Would highly recommend Nellys to anyone looking for a nursery in the area.

I am pleased to note that they offered first aid training and certifications for the parents alongside the staff, which feels like a step above.

So far I would say I am pleased with the nursery.

Nellys nursery has been amazing for our daughter who started her care with the nursery when she was around 10 months old. She is currently in the toddler room, and all the girls looking after her have been brilliant. She is so happy to go to nursery, and the pictures I receive during the day always show her to be having fun.

After a few months of difficulty with the change in management, we couldn't ask for any more from the nursery. The staff are wonderful with our child and we can see how much she loves going there.

The activities focus on different areas of the children's' development and it is so noticeable. The updates from the app are helpful and let us see what is going on during the day but we would love to see more photos of our child.

The food is a bit of an issue as our child doesn't really like some of the choices but it would be great if they offered a little more variety so that she continues to eat consistently.

The staff in the Owls School Room have been absolutely brilliant with our son. They are so caring, attentive and always go above and beyond to make sure the children are happy and engaged. They put so much thought into the activities they plan and really know what the children will love.

We really appreciate how hard the staff work and everything they do to make sure our son is safe, happy and well cared for. They have given us complete confidence that he is in the best hands, which means so much to us as parents.

We will genuinely miss the Owls team when our son moves on to school. Thank you for everything you have done for him - we couldn't be more grateful!

My daughters attended Nelly's for 2 full days each week for just shy of 12 months, and I can hand on heart say we've not had a single issue. The staff are all so kind and caring towards all the children I have witnessed; and my daughter thoroughly enjoys attending. She comes home chatting all about the staff and what activities they've done that day. It's lovely being kept up to date throughout the day, and nothing is too much trouble! Had great support recently with potty training. I feel very happy and comfortable leaving my daughter at nellys nursery knowing she will receive great care, particularly from her key worker, who she's bonded great with.

Our son loves going to Nelly's Nursery and I cannot fault them on their care and attention. Brooke is my son's key worker and he absolutely adores her, she is amazing with him, so caring, patient and you can really tell she enjoys her job. Everyone in Pod One and Two have been phenomenal.

We have had such a wonderful experience with Nellys. Our son settled in so quickly and loves going, sometimes even wanting to go back in when we pick him up! We love getting photo updates and seeing how often they get out and about. Its always lovely to pick him up and hear about his day and not feel rushed.

He enjoys the activities and always speaks to us about his friends. They go out and visit the local community.

My son loves his time at Nellys, I have no faults in our experience with them. They have been so supportive and encouraging with my son's learning and I know he always has the best time there. The staff have always been so welcoming and trustworthy, I'm my experience I have loved how much they communicate with us whilst he's there.

So please with how Taylor has settled into nursery! She absolutely adores Jess as her key person which is so lovely to see. When I pick Taylor up at the end of the day It's evident how much fun she has had, so much so she sometimes reaches to go back in with Jess which just shows the bond that they have forged. After a few months of being at Nellys Taylor has now also started to bond with Brooke and Meg and is evidently sees nursery as a fun, safe and happy place to be which is credit to the girls that care for her.As a parent I love the pictures and updates that I receive ,not only do they offer reassurance that she's ok and having a nice time but absolutely make my day. Taylor seems to really enjoy her time at nursery I feel like it's bringing her developmental and social skills in leaps and bounds. So far the nursery has been very accommodating and supportive in providing Taylor with the best care and meeting her individual needs however best they can,seeing her as an individual.

My child loves coming to nursery and comes out at the end of the day all smiles, excited to share what she's been up to. The staff have been lovely since day one and brilliantly supportive with all the ups and downs that toddler-hood brings!

Never had any issues. Always been supportive in helping us with her routines and different milestones ie potty training. Love they go on trips to the market and walk around the community. Only constructive feedback would be we personally would love ideas and activities to do together when at home but appreciate not all enjoy homework.

Overwhelmingly possitive in helping our child grow. Team are on hand to help with worries or questions. Team are pivitol in how our child has become a confident happy boy.

We literally adore Nelly's staff, especially in my child's current room. The care, compassion, love, protection and education they show to my child is remarkable. My child has learnt so much during his time at Nelly's and that's thanks to the staff. Huge thanks to two members of staff in particular for all the behind the scenes stuff. We love you all so much and owe you the world for loving our son, and us. Thank you for the chats and smiles at the door.

Our child loves attending nursery here. We can only speak great things about the staff and care received.

My daughter enjoys nursery and always comes home smiling. She can be a bit of a fussy eater so I asked that when she hasn't eating dinner they offer her some fruit instead of the usual sweet treat dessert which they have done. The app is great and I love getting picture updates when I am at work. The staff are all very friendly and great at keeping parents up to date with information

We couldn't ask for a better nursery. They go above and beyond to meet both my sons needs. They have created a warm and welcoming learning environment that makes learning fun. The boys love coming and are always excited to go and explore activities and see all the staff as they have great relationships with them all.
