Sandhills Day Nursery Wombourne is a home from home setting at the heart of Wombourne, offering the perfect learning environment for children.

With local parks and amenities, such as the library, in walking distance, the children are regularly out exploring the local area whilst taking full advantage of both the indoor and outdoor nursery space.

The nursery has four rooms within the main building as well as an additional building adjacent to the main building; giving the littlest ones the space to develop their balance, confidence and independence in a safe and calm environment before moving to the main building.

The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

With several local primary schools in close proximity, they are able to develop relationships with these schools to be able to ensure that an effective and positive transition period takes place when the little ones are ready to move on to their next adventure at school.

Sandhills has been amazing with our beautiful little girl! She has come on leaps and bounds with social skills and everything! She gets her shoes and coats ready every Friday morning to attend! Can’t recommend it enough! And special thanks to two particular ladies.

Overall, happy with the nursery.
I know there is a lot for the staff to do, but we do love updates on the app and are looking forward to more of a detailed discussion/feedback about how he is doing at parents evening.
We joined in Covid, so have missed out on parents evening and seeing the room he
is in.

My son has been attending Sandhills Nursery Wombourne for just over 3-years now and has thrived in the care of the fantastic staff. Facilities and resources are excellent. I receive regular updates regarding my child’s development, and activities are well planned and varied. The premises are cleaned
to a high standard, and the food offered is plentiful, varied and nutritious. The communication I receive from the nursery is excellent. I feel that the staff really care about the children and truly engage with their parents/guardians. I am so grateful for my child having the opportunity to spend his early years here and believe the quality of service provided is excellent value for money.

My son attends once a week and started at the start of 2021. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in his speech and social skills since he’s started at Sandhills. He has now been in two rooms since he’s started, and each team member he’s been in contact with have been so lovely. I would definitely recommend
my friends and family for their children to attend here.

An amazing nursery. My little one loves coming here, and he’s always been reluctant with other settings. The staff are friendly and informative and engage with you and your child. My son really enjoys going and all the fun activities they do. He has also really come on since starting, learning his numbers and writing his own name.
All the staff are really friendly and excellent with the children.
The nursery has been brilliant throughout Covid making sure all children and

My son joined the Mr Smalls room in January 2021 and has thoroughly enjoyed it from the beginning. The staff assigned to look after him are absolutely lovely, really friendly and welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable. The facilities are really clean, bright colours, well maintained and inviting. The
communication through the app is fantastic, and it's lovely to see pictures of his activities throughout the day. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Sandhills Wombourne.

Our little girl has attended Sandhills Day Nursery (Wombourne) from the age of nine months. She is now nearing the end of her time there in the preschool room. The nursery staff are phenomenal and go above and beyond to ensure that the children are safe, happy and well. My daughter found being apart
from me very difficult for quite a long time but the staff persevered and worked with me to build her relationships and confidence in them. They have always ensured that she has a meal she can enjoy, often making a substitute for her as they know her likes so well. Reports are available for me to view on the app so that I can see how she is developing and I love to see the photos and videos that are posted of her enjoying time with her nursery friends. Sandhills Day Nursery (Wombourne) have worked hard to develop her confidence and I am so grateful for this. With my second baby due any day, Sandhills Day Nursery (Wombourne) will definitely be the place for her when the time comes for me to return to work.

Lovely nursery with lovely staff. My son has settled in very well, particularly considering he joined during the covid pandemic! The staff are very friendly and welcoming; it feels like one big family. The setting is the perfect balance of being homely, but also practical for learning, preparing the
children for a school environment. I particularly love how the children are encouraged to play outside most days, regardless of the weather (my son loves the outdoors come rain or shine)!
Another perk of the nursery is the variety of meals offered to the children - both healthy and diverse (menus are also changed each term so the children never get bored)!
Overall, a great nursery, which I cannot recommend highly enough - I can't wait for my youngest to start in the summer!

Wonderful nursery, which my little one absolutely loves going too. The whole team from day one have made my little ones time there enjoyable, and it is such a relief, as a parent, knowing they are having the best time. Our son has been at this nursery for a year now and coming from another nursery, we really saw a huge improvement. The facility itself is fantastic, new and engaging for the children. The staff have time for each child; a key worker is assigned to your child and send observations and reports every time
they are in nursery via an app. Cannot fault it!

Sandhills Nursery (Wombourne) has been a brilliant setting for my son since he started there in September 2018. All the staff of the various rooms that he has been in have been extremely helpful and made him feel comfortable. As a parent, I have always felt comfortable leaving him at the nursery in
their care.
He has always come back especially in recent classes telling us how much fun he had at nursery, and his development has become much more apparent. I feel that keyworkers do care about the children they look after and invest quality time in ensuring the children enjoy their time whilst at nursery.
Communications from the nursery have always been good, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic. Keeping the minds of parents at ease during these difficult times, ensuring we know where we stand at all times throughout these uncertain times.
