Orchard House Nursery

My daughter has attended Orchard House nursery for 2 1/2 years and we'll be sad for her to leave! Lovely nursery, staff are friendly, caring and communicate well. My daughter loves going to nursery and has formed fantastic bonds with both children and teachers. They cover a wide range of activities and use being close to the town centre as an advantage; being able to visit the church, feed the ducks and go to the playground. The home learning booklets are sent to us every month which helps parents carry on with the activities they are doing at nursery and helps us feel even more involved with their nursery experience.

My daughter has been attending Orchard House since January. We are so pleased with the progress she is making and we can see she loves to attend! She has made a strong bond with her key worker and the other children in the setting. We enjoy reading about the activities she has been participating in and food she has been provided with in the diary you are given on a daily basis. We attended an Easter Bonnet Parade a couple of weeks ago and it is lovely to see how happy and engaged the children were. The monthly home learning booklets we are emailed are very useful and jam packed with activities and ideas we can do with our daughter at home!

Our 17-month-old has been attending Orchard House since February, he has made lots of developmental progress in his short time there and has formed a very close bond with his key worker. He is very content leaving our care and goes into nursery happily every morning that he is there. We are provided with detailed updates on his day via his notebook, including what he has eaten, his nappy changes, nap times and things he has done during the day. His key worker also takes the time when we collect him to personally update us on how his day has been and any other info we may need before he leaves. We also receive regular updates from the nursery via email, including a monthly home learning booklet. We are extremely happy with the care provided, all correspondence, and couldn’t have chosen a better nursery!

My son has been going to Orchard House Nursery for 4 months and he loves it there. The staff really care and are so thorough with relaying what he has enjoyed doing throughout the day, what he’s eaten and how long he’s slept.

My son has been going to Orchard House Nursey for almost two years and loves it. The staff are always approachable and friendly. We have been especially impressed with how accommodating the team have been regarding my son's dairy allergy. We get regular communication regarding what the children are learning and feel that we can always contact someone if we need to. Our experience continues to be positive and we are assured that our son is in the best care. Would definitely recommend.

We attended a wonderful Easter bonnet parade and it’s perfect being able to join in and engage with the owner and staff who take great pride in their work and the children. Couldn’t ask for more!

Couldn’t recommend a better nursery for all of my children. I’ve used the nursery since 2015 for all three of my children, and they all enjoyed it and loved it! The staff are lovely and very welcoming. I have loads of respect for all the ladies and their hard work. Keep it up!

I cannot praise this nursery enough! My little girl has come on leaps and bounds since being here (she was previously elsewhere). It was the best decision I made to move her; she will now happily walk into the nursery and cannot wait to get in there, whereas before, we had a lot of upset. It makes it much easier knowing my girl is happy and settled. All the staff are friendly, caring, and professional, and she has a very close bond with her keyworker Shannon. They have also been very supportive of her learning needs (recently diagnosed with autism, nonverbal), and they are constantly working with her and me to help her progress; they have also brought resources to help her develop. I 100% recommend it.

My son has attended the nursery since 2017, and we couldn’t be happier! The staff are amazing and very welcoming, and they provide a fun, safe and happy environment for the kids. When the time comes, my youngest will be attending for sure!

The staff at Orchard are very friendly and professional. Our daughter has been at the nursery for nearly two years, and I can say with confidence that she is happy being there. She has really developed and grown in her speech, literacy and numeracy. Thank you to all the staff.

My little one has been in the nursery since she was four months old. She couldn't hold her head up at that time. The level of care provided is incredible. They are flexible in supporting your kid's growth. Their communication is very effective too.

I have used this nursery for the past 5 years, it is a really lovely nursery. The staff are very friendly and caring. Both my children enjoyed/enjoy going there. There are lots of opportunities for the children to develop and I feel confident and happy with the care my children received/receives.

The staff at Orchard House Nursery have done an incredible job with my daughter, who has attended since age 2. She has achieved all of her targets and has often been working at a higher age bracket thanks to the hard work the girls put in! Would recommend the nursery to anybody, I never have to worry if my daughter is being looked after as she’s in brilliant hands and is always excited to get there in the morning!

Our daughter loves attending Orchard House, as soon as we pull up to the building she's off and can't wait to get in. The staff are friendly and caring and fantastic with the kids. You get daily diary sheets which are great for seeing what your child has been up to during the day, including activities they've done and what they've eaten. The staff really encourage the children in their development and we would definitely recommend sending your child here.

Orchard House is a wonderful nursery that truly cares for the children they look after. Our daughter loves going there and has really thrived there. Her communication and confidence has improved so much.

My son loves his time at nursery, the staff have attention to detail and the children always seem so happy in the safe and caring environment provided.

It has been a joy and comfort to see him running into the front door and flourish, knowing that his day has been filled with fun activities and yummy food!

Staff are fantastic with my son and he regularly runs in, arms up, asking to be picked up. He always comes home smiling. Staff are always polite, helpful and friendly. My son gets very personal care, you can see his key workers really look after him, not just tolerate him.

I would highly recommend this nursery.

My child loves attending the nursery he talks about it all the time at home and all of the staff. Even on the days, he doesn't attend he asks to go since attending Orchard House Nursery as he has become a lot more confident in himself as he used to be quite reserved. We always feel so welcome and are comfortable leaving him here.

A really lovely nursery. Staff really care about the children and my daughter really looks forward to attending. I was worried about her starting school but the nursery promotes strong links with all local schools and transitions are well supported. I'm looking forward to her graduating in July but we will be sad to leave.
