Footsteps Stafford Nursery & Pre-School

Staff have always been more than amazing helping my daughter come out of her shell. She loves going to nursery. Have already recommended and will continue to do so.

Enjoyed watching how my child enjoys and plays at nursery, playing with her friends and enjoying all the activities around her. Had a great time interacting with the day's activities, lots of fun and smiles everywhere.

I attended the Harvest Stay and Play where I got to see and experience my little girl's happy little face. It was so reassuring that I'd made the right choice to not only send her to nursery but to attend Footsteps.

She always seems happy when we pick her up and we get a daily update of what she has eaten and been doing that day.

The extra classes such as Jo Jingles and yoga are always a favourite too. Since the change of management and staff changes, the stability of familiar faces has helped our son settle quickly during room changes. The ladies in PreSchool are exceptional and express genuine interest and concern in the development and wellbeing of my son. They have always gone out of their way to listen to concerns and are continually supportive and caring and my son has gained lots of confidence with their support.

We have enjoyed watching our son develop in many different ways, the nursery has provided him with many learning opportunities. The staff have given me peace of mind knowing my son is in the best nursery in Stafford, they deliver high standards of care day after day. Each night staff give a brilliant insight on what he has done during the day. Management are quick to answer and reply to any questions such as adding extra sessions at short notice. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. All staff so kind and polite.

The staff are very friendly and bond well with the children but the communication from the nursery isn't good. I wasn't informed where to look for different notices so missed a lot of events and information. Previously wasn't informed about students caring for my child. I haven't received any information on my child's development for over a year (I was told it was due to staff changes, my son's key worker changed twice in a few months). I also noticed the hygiene slipped quite a lot lately, which may explain why my son gets ill a lot. Sadly it's not the standard it was up to last year.

The food provided is nutritious and I appreciate the healthy eating messages that are given to the children.

From the activities I have seen in the rooms for the older children when collecting my son, I think he is going to have a great time as he grows.

Only thing is, I expect to have more variety in her meals. I understand it is not easy since she is a vegetarian.

Excellent facility and staff has meant our son settled in really quickly. Very happy.

All is fine.

The staff at Footsteps in the babies room are absolutely brilliant. Caring and attentive with the babies. My daughter loves coming to nursery and I can already see a change in her behaviour and development in just 3 months since she started. There is always so much for the babies to do and the room is so interactive and fun. I especially love all the extras like Forest School and Jo Jingles. And the baby room is wonderful.

She is developing well and growing in confidence daily, thanks to the efforts from the baby team.

The rooms are set out with lots of activities and he clearly enjoys it.

Our son could not have been placed in a better nursery to aid his development. He thoroughly enjoys every day he spends there. From the attentive, caring nature of the staff that look after him right through to management, they are a delight to deal with. Leaving your children with others is very difficult but necessary at times, Footsteps make it much easier. The sheer variety of activities provided for the prices paid are incredible. It’s cleanliness and the facilities used outweigh anything in the local area. I would highly recommend Footsteps to anybody looking for childcare in the area.

My child has attended Footsteps since August 2018 and thoroughly enjoys going each day. The facilities they offer are fantastic, especially the garden. The staff within the baby room have been brilliant at catering for my child’s needs, my child who always comes home with lovely artwork he has enjoyed doing. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone!

The office and management are equally always helpful.
