Poppins Day Nursery St Johns

Since our daughter started at Poppins in the toddler room, we have been so very grateful for the care and nurture she has received. All the staff are friendly and kind and will go above and beyond for each child in their care. The nurseries facilities are outstanding and they always provide interesting and exciting opportunities even from a young age. This ranges from Forest School, Mindfulness, walks out in the local community and cooking. Communication is great through an online app and staff are always available if you ever need to speak to them. We have been so blessed that our daughter has had the best possible start and couldn't be more thankful for all the work the staff do at Poppins.

The staff at Poppins are wonderful, caring and attentive. I have sent both of my children to the nursery and they loved their time at Poppins. The provisions are excellent and the staff are knowledgeable.

Poppins Day Nursery is a wonderful, warm and safe nursery. The staff are very professional but also caring, loving and encouraging towards the children. The atmosphere within the nursery is happy but calm and organised and all of the children are surrounded by so much adventure. The snacks and lunches are outstanding. Poppins Day Nursery has given my granddaughter confidence and amazing social skills over the many months she attended, to enable her to move forward into school. A perfect choice nursery. The staff are fantastic and the facilities are wonderful. We are always updated on their daily activities and progress. They have also dealt with the current pandemic so well and we feel totally comfortable.

My son has been attending Poppins for just over 12 months now, I was a little nervous and unsure at first as my child had never been in someone else care. Poppins were great in reassuring me and made me feel so happy and comfortable to leave my child with them. Now he's been there over 12 months and what a 12months it has been! My child is an individual to them and they care about what he likes and his interests. He has developed so much, it's the best thing we have done sending him here! Nothing is too much of an issue for them and no concern is too silly! Through the pandemic they have been brilliant too, every staff member has really put themselves out there for the children. They have been COVID free which I think is fantastic and shows what they are doing is working.

I highly recommend this nursery to anyone, you will not be disappointed, it's a home from home for your little one.

My daughter loved spending time there. Education is at a high level. She had a very good start at Reception. Food is amazing and the communication with parents was outstanding.

I would like to give Poppins a 5 star rating for being like a second home for our children. They feel so happy ans safe here!

My son has attended Poppins from 9 months old. After looking at too many nurseries we chose to send him here, from the start recommendations and warm welcoming atmosphere. We have loved it ever since. I feel happy to leave him with the competent staff knowing he will have a day of fun. Baby number 2 will soon be joining also!

Our daughter has had lots of opportunities to explore new activities, skills and loves the outdoor play. A very professional team.

We have been extremely happy with the care and support our daughter received during her time in pre-school. We were amazed how quickly she settled in to Poppins making friends and having a lovely time (her words!), thank you to all the staff.

We have been so happy with everything about Poppins since our daughter started. The settling in period was well thought out and mindful of how she might be feeling, as well as being very considerate of how we as parents felt. The setting is lovely different areas for the children to play and explore learning, the outside areas are great and the amount of time spent outside is brilliant. Our daughter always comes home full of stories about what she has done and what she has been learning. I am particularly pleased with the end of day handovers; we get so much detail about her day from what she has eaten and how well she has eaten, to who she has been playing with, what they have been exploring that day. This really makes us feel that the staff are engaged with the children and know exactly what they have been doing. We will be sad when she leaves but safe in the knowledge that she is well prepared for school and has been given everything she needs to make a flying start in reception.

A wonderful home from home environment. My daughter adores the staff and always comes home shattered after a busy day.

My son loves the nursery and the staff have been amazing since day one. I could not ask for more attentive and caring people to look after him. It was difficult leaving him to return to work but they made it so easy and my little boy has thrived thanks to all the ways they are teaching him to explore and learn.

We are extremely happy with the care our daughter receives at Poppins Day Nursery. She loves going and is always happy at the end of the day. The staff are friendly and professional and always on hand to give advice. We love receiving our diary entry via class dojo at the end of the day which includes a photo of our daughters day.

We have two very happy children that attend Poppins. They love spending time there, and I can leave them knowing they will have a fun-filled day learning, playing, making friends and exploring. Poppins is a homely environment with home cooked food provided each day, healthy snacks and varied menu. We would highly recommend Poppins!

A friendly warm and welcoming place with caring and dedicated staff. They have cared e trembly well for both of our children and I would not hesitate to recommend Poppins to anyone.
