Poppins Day Nursery is situated in a spacious detached bungalow, benefitting from a corner plot. Having been awarded as an Ofsted 'Outstanding' provider twice in August 2017 and in May 2023, Poppins provides a home from home environment.

Inside, the nursery offers a range of spaces to suit children of different ages and stages of development; the Baby Room, The Hatchlings, and the 2-4s room - The Nestlings.

Limited spaces mean that the team are able to provide children with individualised attention, ensuring they receive the care and support they need; promoting their emotional development as well as offering exciting learning opportunities for all ages through adult and child-led experiences.

In keeping with a traditional homely environment the nursery provides nutritious nursery cooked meals prepared daily by a nursery cook.

The team at Poppins adopt a holistic approach, recognising that children thrive when they, the nursery setting and the team work together. They also value parent and family collaboration and work hard to ensure that you never miss out on key moments or milestones and always feel included in your child's time at the nursery.

My son has been attending Poppins for just over 12 months now, I was a little nervous and unsure at first as my child had never been in someone else care. Poppins were great in reassuring me and made me feel so happy and comfortable to leave my child with them. Now he's been there over 12 months and
what a 12months it has been! My child is an individual to them and they care about what he likes and his interests. He has developed so much, it's the best thing we have done sending him here! Nothing is too much of an issue for them and no concern is too silly! Through the pandemic they have been brilliant too, every staff member has really put themselves out there for the children. They have been COVID free which I think is fantastic and shows what they are doing is working.


I highly recommend this nursery to anyone, you will not be disappointed, it's a home from home for your little one.

My daughter loved spending time there. Education is at a high level. She had a very good start at Reception. Food is amazing and the communication with parents was outstanding.

My son has attended Poppins from 9 months old. After looking at too many nurseries we chose to send him here, from the start recommendations and warm welcoming atmosphere. We have loved it ever since. I feel happy to leave him with the competent staff knowing he will have a day of fun. Baby number 2
will soon be joining also!

My husband and I have been extremely pleased with this nursery. Steps were taken to help our daughter settle in and they have really got to know her well.
Staff are always very welcoming, friendly and ready to give our daughter a cuddle if she gets upset.
Our daughter has had lots of opportunities
to explore new activities, skills and loves the outdoor play. A very professional team.

AMAZING! The time that our little man spent in baby room really was first class. The girls in baby room were fantastic with him. They made it super easy for him to form a bond with each of them and, although there were tears at drop off on most days, they didn't last long as he soon felt at home with
all the girls. All activities were great as well.

We have been so happy with everything about Poppins since our daughter started. The settling in period was well thought out and mindful of how she might be feeling, as well as being very considerate of how we as parents felt. The setting is lovely different areas for the children to play and explore
learning, the outside areas are great and the amount of time spent outside is brilliant. Our daughter always comes home full of stories about what she has done and what she has been learning. I am particularly pleased with the end of day handovers; we get so much detail about her day from what she has eaten and how well she has eaten, to who she has been playing with, what they have been exploring that day. This really makes us feel that the staff are engaged with the children and know exactly what they have been doing. We will be sad when she leaves but safe in the knowledge that she is well prepared for school and has been given everything she needs to make a flying start in reception.

My son loves the nursery and the staff have been amazing since day one. I could not ask for more attentive and caring people to look after him. It was difficult leaving him to return to work but they made it so easy and my little boy has thrived thanks to all the ways they are teaching him to explore

We are extremely happy with the care our daughter receives at Poppins Day Nursery. She loves going and is always happy at the end of the day. Since starting Poppins at 8 months old, our son has thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The open plan nature of the nursery means children mix with others so they all know each other and all of the members of staff.
Poppins offers simulating activities which are child initiated, responding to children's
interests. Our son loves the outdoor spaces, especially the sandpit!
I would recommend Poppins to any parent.

Poppins, in my option, is by far one of the best nurseries in Worcester. My child has flourished since coming here, she has been supported and nurtured on every level and watching her learn and grow in knowledge and confidence over the last 16 months has been so rewarding as a parent. The girls are

My daughter is always excited to get into Poppins Nursery on a morning! She thoroughly enjoys her time there and all the different activities they have to offer. She has a great relationship with all the friendly and caring members of staff, especially her key worker!! They offer a great range of healthy

My children have blossomed at Poppins. When they first started, staff were wonderfully skilled at bonding with them and providing exactly the right care and nurturing they needed. From helping with toilet training to encouraging literacy and preparing them expertly for what they will do at big school,
I could not have asked for more from Poppins. Highly recommend the nursery and all the lovely staff who genuinely love children.
