Our eldest daughter has been at Poppins for over 2 years and our youngest will be starting next month. We cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are incredibly friendly, caring and supportive of the educational and emotional needs of the children. Our daughter has already had some
amazing experiences and is developing every day. We have found the team to be easy to deal with and accommodating of changes in our circumstances. One of the best decisions we ever made was to choose Poppins.

Poppins Nursery has been a truly wonderful experience for our family. It offers a genuine home-from-home environment, which made all the difference when my son first started. He took a little while to settle into a new setting, but thanks to the patience and care of the staff, he now absolutely
loves his time at Poppins. The team are incredibly nurturing and create a calm, supportive atmosphere, while also placing a strong emphasis on learning and development. I've been really impressed by how thoughtfully they structure activities to help the children grow. As a parent, I really value the quarterly meetings and the regular stay-and-play sessions. They give me the chance to see what my son gets up to, understand his progress, and feel genuinely involved in his nursery journey. It's clear that communication with parents is a real priority here.
Every member of staff is friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. I couldn't be happier with the care my son receives.

Poppins is fabulous for so many reasons; staff are kind, the environment has a family feel to it and the enrichments are rich and varied. Both of our children have thrived there. As our youngest is due to leave for school this summer, we will be saying goodbye but will remember their first
educational setting forever.

Our Daughter has been at poppins nursery since April 25 and seeing her confidence and skills grow over this time has been lovely. All the staff at poppins are friendly and attentive and it is very clear they all care about the children. The facilities and resources they provide are fantastic and
well thought out.
The communication from management and all staff is excellent and I feel she is safe and well supported at nursery.
The meals are well thought out and very clearly enjoyed.
I would definitely recommend poppins nursery.

Poppins has been such a special place for our family. Our daughter spent two happy years in the Nestlings room, and our son was there for three years in the Hatchlings and Nestlings rooms. They both loved their time at nursery and were always excited for their days there. The staff are wonderful -
so caring, supportive, and kind - and the facilities are fantastic. We've been especially impressed by the variety of activities, from sensory play and forest school to visits to a local care home, which gave our children so many rich and varied experiences. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better nursery, and we'll always be grateful to Poppins.

What can I say- Poppins Day Nursery is an incredible place for your child to start their journey, my little girl has loved it the past two years she's been there, the staff have brought out her confidence and determination to learn new things. They celebrate every achievement and share experiences
from home, my daughter has built the best friendships with other children but also the staff. The food is also amazing with such a wide variety and all freshly home cooked. I would definitely recommend this nursery. Both myself and my daughter will be very sad to say goodbye to Poppins.

We've had our son at Poppins for nearly two years, and we genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, the staff have been nothing short of exceptional - warm, professional, and incredibly dedicated to the care and development of every child.
It's clear that they
truly get to know each child as an individual. Our son has absolutely thrived here - not just in terms of learning and development, but emotionally and socially as well. The progress we've seen has been amazing, and so much of that is down to the nurturing, stimulating environment the team provides every single day.
The facilities are fantastic - clean, safe, well-organised, and thoughtfully equipped to keep the children engaged and happy. The range of activities is brilliant, and the communication with parents is consistent and reassuring.
We're so grateful to have found a place where we've felt confident and at ease leaving our son. Thank you to all the staff at Poppins!

My little one joined Poppins when he was 8 months old. He's now 3 and there's not a single day where he hasn't enjoyed going. Every day, they come up with creative, engaging and educational concepts for the kids. They truly care about the children, celebrate their achievements and guide their
development.
I couldn't be happier and I will be quite sad when my child starts school next year and we have to say goodbye to Poppins.

We could not be more grateful to the Hatchlings team for how they have welcomed our son into Poppins. The care and love that they show him is so greatly appreciated and has made his time settling in super smooth. He adores the team and seems to be really thriving in the wonderful environment that
they have created. There is such care and thought put into all that they do and this has been a huge reassurance to us as new parents. The activities are brilliant and so enriching. The updates are regular and gratefully received. We can't think of a better team to help him flourish during these such formative years and are truly grateful to the whole Poppins team. It's no easy task, but the positive impact the team has on him, us, and the other children does not go unnoticed. Thank you!

We love Poppins and everything it has to offer our son. He's been going since he was 11 months old and has been there 11 months now and you can tell he absolutely loves it! He comes out smiling and happy every day and has no problems at drop-off.
We chose Poppins because of its smaller, cosy, and
home-like setting with fewer children in the baby room than in other local settings, we loved the feel that we had from the staff when we first went in, we could see how happy the other babies and team were. The kind, caring nature of the team is obvious.
The facilities they have are great, the garden and forest school are brilliant and they try to get the children outside playing as often as possible. Going on walks and getting out of the setting where possible is something he really enjoys.
We can't recommend Poppins enough and we're so pleased that we made the choice to start him there.

My son started at Poppins 6 months ago when he was 9 months old, and right from the beginning all the staff have been welcoming and wonderful and so engaging for my son. I was so attracted to this nursery because of their warm and homely approach that was very clearly based on a huge amount of
experience and knowledge, they have exceeded my expectations, and my little boy is so happy for his nursery days, I love receiving updates in the day of what they have been up to! I've been amazed at how much my son has learned and developed being in this setting - so happy we chose this wonderful nursery!

Poppins is a wonderful nursery filled with great staff who love what they do. It's evident in the level of care children receive there, staff are warm, gentle, welcoming and loving. Children are encouraged to explore, be curious and there's always so much learning around various topics (ie culture,
society, arts etc). The staff are always on hand and welcome discussion in order to foster a seamless experience for the children. We can't thank the staff enough for the level of care our daughter has received there. She's come on leaps and bounds and that is truly a credit to the team there.

Our daughter started Poppins in September after a house move to the area. We were feeling slightly apprehensive about her moving as she had been so happy at her previous setting. However, we needn’t have worried at all - the staff at Poppins have been absolutely incredible; they made her feel so
welcome, got to know her so quickly and all aspects of her learning and language have undoubtedly come on leaps and bounds since she started. It is a very homely setting, which we absolutely love, and the relationships the staff form with the children are second to none. On the days our daughter isn’t at nursery, she quite often mentions the staff’s names and is always so happy to see them all. The rooms, resources and learning opportunities planned for the children are so well thought out and linked to the children’s own interests which makes them even more impactful. We are incredibly happy to have found Poppins for our daughter and would highly recommend it to any other parents. Just the best!

The loving and caring nature of all the Poppins team members has never gone unnoticed. My son has been attending for 2 years now and speaks so fondly of all his amazing days that he has at Poppins. Poppins create a nurturing environment which has made such a significant impact on my son's
development and I love hearing about all his experiences, activities, and friends that he makes at nursery. We feel blessed to have such a wonderful team caring for my son during this crucial stage of his development. All the staff are amazingly empathetic which has really helped my son feel secure in the nursery setting. It's evident that all the staff go above and beyond to connect with each child on a personal level, and for that, we are truly grateful.

My son absolutely loved it here. He has become a confident, kind, nature-loving little boy. The staff were all great with him and got him more than ready for school. Food cooked on-site and a great selection of meals, catering for all dietary requirements.

My son attended Poppins for 18 months before starting primary school and I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful nursery and the staff that work there. All the staff were friendly, polite, warm and welcoming and this helped my son to settle in quickly. The resources were fantastic and always
seemed well looked after. There were opportunities for trips out to local farms, walks down to the river, Christmas visits from Father Christmas etc, and we were always told well in advance of these through monthly newsletters. The forest school was brilliant and a real bonus for my son, it's rare to find nurseries with forest school-trained members of staff. The online Tapestry system for observations was easy to use and was also used to communicate with us how much our child had eaten throughout the day, which was very useful for me as my mother-in-law did the pickups! The staff were calm, professional, and the nursery felt like home from home. My son always came out smiling!

Poppins is the best, a very good nursery. It definitely has a home-from-home feeling, the staff are kind and caring, and go above and beyond. Would definitely recommend this nursery if your looking for a place to send your little ones, and know they are in safe hands. Can't thank them enough for all

We have always been very happy with the care that our son has received from Poppins, and very impressed with how the staff have worked so hard to get him ready for his move on to primary school. We also feel that the subjects that they have learnt about are imaginative and interesting for the
children. The food on the menu was nutritious and appealing. The staff were very supportive with issues such as potty training, and for us, the peace of mind that he was always so excited to be there meant so much. We highly recommend Poppins Day Nursery.

My son has been with Poppins from the age of about 15 months to leaving for reception and his time has been wonderful. His communication skills, numeracy and literacy are well ahead of where he needed to be for preparing for school and his teacher has commented on this too. The learning alongside
play at Poppins is so well balanced that they make learning fun without an easily distracted boy becoming distracted. My son has made great friends with the staff who he often would talk about and enjoys seeing each day. I personally felt supported by the staff too, who took an interest in us and how we were as well as the children, I'll be sad not to chat to them at pick-up and drop-offs now my son has left. Keep up the good work guys!
