Honey Pot House Day Nursery (Shirley)

My daughter attended this nursery for 7 months. She settled in well and bonded with the staff quickly. The room leader was caring, understanding and provided comprehensive feedback on my daughter's development. They guided me through potty training - constantly reassuring me (as a first-time mother, this was daunting for me). The staff were genuinely concerned about my daughter's well-being, over and above what was required of their jobs. Recently they advised me on sleep training too! My next child will certainly attend Honey Pot House!

Always had a very pleasant experience, they have been fantastic with my daughter and she has developed in every way since being there. Staff are great and very thorough. Management are very hands-on and also very good. My daughter always has a variety of fresh food, the credit has to go to the chef they have.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery since she was 9 months old, she is now nearly 3 and absolutely loves it, all the staff are fantastic and do a brilliant job, they are always doing different activities with them. I highly recommend this nursey.

We have only high praise for the team at Honey Pot House. Our first born attended from just 9 months. Seeing how our baby was growing in confidence and ability was amazing and this was purely down to the dedication and support offered by all at Honeypot House. Our second little girl now attends and we have seen the same great results, which is fantastic to see that the consistency is still there. I would always continue to recommend Honey Pot House to anyone who wants their child to learn and gain confidence from a young age and not just to be child minded. Leaving our children with the team at Honey Pot has always felt like leaving them with a trusted family member. My son has attended Honey Pot since he was 8 months old. He is now 2. When my daughter was born, I knew that Honey Pot would be perfect for her too. Friendly, kind, helpful and supportive, the staff go above and beyond for the children in their care. Both my children have flourished at this nursery and I have nothing but praise for Honey Pot. I love knowing that my children are not only looked after but safe, educated and loved. Thank you Honey Pot.

Our little girl has been since she was 9months old and absolutely loves it. As a teacher myself, I spent months trawling Ofsted reports and there was no need. I knew on the first visit this was where I wanted her to go. The staff are absolutely brilliant, kind, warm and have caring hearts. Not only to the little ones but to the parents too. They always help and advise you whilst always leading care, lead by the parent's wishes.

The range of activities our daughter does amazes me and are fantastic. The food is brilliant, all made fresh on site and it offers a healthy balanced menu in which my daughter has tried things she hadn't at home. Parent communication is outstanding with written and verbal feedback given daily, with the use of an app and tapestry, where you can view photos and videos of your child, seeing what they have been up to day to day. There isn't enough space on this to truly give Honey Pot the endless positive comments we have, so we advise to go and see it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

My little boy is two and has loved going to Honey Pot House Day Nursery since he was 9 months old. I always feel guilty working fulltime but seeing how much he loves going to nursery really helps. The food's freshly cooked every day. Staff are like a little family and the kids get up to so much fun every day. Couldn't be happier.

Our child has been attending Honeypot since she was 13 months old. The staff are kind, friendly, approachable and great fun and you can tell they share a special bond with the children they look after. She also gets to experience things at the nursery which she cannot do at home. She has made lots of friends and is always telling us all the fun things she has done at the nursery. We are thrilled in how she has come on and is developing. Her speech and new phrases/words amaze us. Our child has thrived in this very well-resourced nursery and makes rapid progress in all areas of learning and development due to the well-planned activities and enthusiasm provided by staff. One thing I would like to emphasise is the flexibility this nursery offers which other nurseries may not provide. When there are times we need to swap our child's nursery days or request additional days, the owner has always tried her best to accommodate our request.

Honey Pot House exceeded all my expectations. It was clear to me from when I looked round that it was extremely well run and a wonderful environment for children. The range of activities provided for the children is varied and excellent - so much so that my older child wants to join in when we go to pick up my younger child. The food is all made on site and also excellent - this is a big bonus for me. I am so glad I chose this nursery.

This nursery is a wonderful nursery and they always listen and try to make your child comfortable and attend to their needs. My daughter attended for 3 years and now my son has been there for a year so far. They also ask if there is anything they can do to help your child with any concerns you may have. My children have learnt a lot and my son has even learnt a little sign language and french! The managers are great and the nursery staff are lovely. It's a homely nursery and the kids have fun as well as learning day to day.

We are confident we made the right choice and we are impressed by the range of activities and continuity of staff. Our child is treated as an individual and the staff have helped them to blossom and develop. Our child is inquisitive, happy, confident and Honey Pot staff have contributed to this.

Honey Pot House is a fantastic nursery. As well as great activities to keep children entertained and help with their learning and progress the best and most crucial part of this nursery I feel is the staff who have a genuine care and interest in the children. My daughter has been coming to this nursery for over 2.5 years and has a real fondness of the staff. The nursery has lots of space and a great outside area, plus the food they provide is another great attribute to the nursery.

Our son spent a wonderful 3 years at this homely and caring nursery. The staff are very approachable as are the owners. They made the transition to the local school very easy and equipped our son with all the social tasks to cope with his new adventure.

Honey Pot House Day Nursery is an amazing environment for a child to grow and develop. All staff are fantastic. They create a safe and friendly space for children. Our son loved every day at Honey Pot House Day Nursery and it was very difficult to say "goodbye" once he was ready to go to "big school". Facilities and outside space are very good, children have many toys to choose from and all activities are planned ahead to make sure children have fun and thrive becoming more confident.
