A B C Day Nursery opened in 1987 and is a 50 place family-run nursery.

The nursery has three large playrooms over two floors and follows the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

A B C offers parents a flexible and friendly childcare service, from a professional team who combine the benefits of an organised and secure setting, with fun and stimulating play in a learning environment which children can develop in a positive manner.

Staff are pleased to discuss parents' concerns with them and look to provide an open service based around developing each child's potential, health and well-being.

  • We offer shorter days from £235 up to £270 per week, £65 per day otherwise
    Funding places for 15hrs can be used over a minimum of 2 days, 30hrs over 3 days
    We offer sessional care and full time term time only spaces also, a charge is made for food
    Funding only sessions with no charges are limited children who have non working codes, or a golden ticket and depending on circumstances

  • We offer 15/30 hour sessions from 9mths, 2, 3 and 4 year olds, parents must obtain codes from childcare choices before any fees can be reduced
    Funding is offered as a stretched package unless you are using it for sessional or term time only. Although these places are limited
    Fess can be paid via tax free childcare, universal credit, student grants or cash

Three of my children went to this nursery and were really well looked after, they had so much fun and took part in lovely activities. A brilliant environment. They were given healthy nutritious food and drink. The staff were always helpful and understanding and worked around my families and works needs,
so very often.

A B C Day Nursery is a nursery I have and will continue to recommend. My first daughter went from 9 months and is now 6 years old and my second daughter has just started and I wouldn't have sent her anywhere else. The staff are all warm and friendly, they go out of their way to understand your child
as an individual and support them throughout their time at nursery. The nursery is always introducing innovative play and educational sessions with babies and children. My daughter was confident, sociable and also learnt a lot at nursery and talks positively of her time there now. My baby daughter has settled in well and already seems to be enjoying her time there too.

My daughter has only attended the nursery for a short while, but the whole family has been made to feel so welcome. The staff are all really professional and have really helped and guided us with her settling in sessions. So happy with our choice to send her there.

Amazing nursery my son has been going since September this year and he's getting on so well there. Staff are very good especially at comforting him when he first started because he kept getting upset after me. I was worried about his speaking and communication when he started, however, feel he has
come on leaps and bounds since starting there. Lovely nursery and staff!

ABC is a great nursery. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time here. She's learnt numerous things; making friends and growing in confidence are the two factors ABC has provided our daughter with.


It has given her the perfect start to her upcoming Pre School in Hampshire. I wish we weren't moving,

otherwise she would have happily stayed at ABC :-)
