A B C Day Nursery

A superb family run nursery, with superb staff. I would recommend ABC to anyone, my daughter has excelled at this nursery and I’m sad she has to leave for school.

I'm so pleased with my son's time at ABC nursery so far! His social skills have come on leaps and bounds, along with all the experiences he has gained alongside his peers which is difficult to offer at home. I was very nervous leaving my son at 8 months old in the care of another but the nursery were absolutely wonderful in offering a settling in period before leaving him for a full day. The staff obviously care so much for the children and it is a lovely environment for the children too.

What a fantastic nursery A B C really is! My son has attended for over a year now and has come on leaps and bounds. My son really struggled with his speech when he first started, the staff have worked tirelessly with him to improve his speech and other things, and now he has a fantastic vocabulary and is so much more confident. The staff are all lovely and welcoming, the whole place has a family feel to it and is a lovely safe and clean place for your child to grow up in. A B C is by far the best nursery around. If you’re looking at sending your child to nursery then definitely give the manager and the ladies at A B C a thought.

I have nothing but praise for the A B C Nursery. The staff are not only friendly and polite but very welcoming to new parents. It can be daunting leaving your child at such a young age (mine was nine months old) but they made us feel very comfortable and secure. The activities that the children do are lovely, there are music lessons on a Monday that my son loves, along with lots of painting and creative activities. The outside garden area has recently been done out and the kids go out in it every day. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son has been in the nursery for a year, starting as a 2-year old. He had difficulty settling in but the ladies helped him considerably to feel welcome and safe. Eventually, he started loving it there and during the summer break holidays, he was asking several times when he could come back. Now as a 3-year-old he enjoys it even more, although management could be more flexible with the hours offered. I do not like the system of 2.5 days a week. When I asked if this can be maintained, I was given an answer that yes but only if I want my 3-year-old to be staying with 2-year-olds :( not really a lot of choice. My second concern is TV and iPads. Are they really necessary for such small children? They have enough TV at home, I believe.

In spite of those two concerns, the staff is caring, kind and really dedicated. I always felt well-informed and most of all my son loves it. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I definitely recommend A B C Day Nursery, I've had an older child and 8-month-old who is now 2, attend and both thrived in the setting.

I find the staff caring and approachable, I love the venue and think they've got it right with the different rooms and age groups.

The garden has just had a refresh and is now an all year round space which is perfect.

Their daddy also attended the nursery 30 years ago and it's still run by the same family, proof that they're doing something very right.

Two of my children attended this nursery when we moved to Bearwood. All of the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and made great connections with the children and their older sibling. They really took the time to treat each child as an individual. Having used other nurseries previously I can definitely say A B C are the best by a mile.

I love this nursery and my son loves this nursery even though we have moved away from the area he still attends and won't be moving anytime soon! He is only 2 1/2 and his speech is amazing and has made so many good friends with the other children and staff I highly recommend this nursery.

Three of my children went to this nursery and were really well looked after, they had so much fun and took part in lovely activities. A brilliant environment. They were given healthy nutritious food and drink. The staff were always helpful and understanding and worked around my families and works needs, so very often.

A B C Day Nursery is a nursery I have and will continue to recommend. My first daughter went from 9 months and is now 6 years old and my second daughter has just started and I wouldn't have sent her anywhere else. The staff are all warm and friendly, they go out of their way to understand your child as an individual and support them throughout their time at nursery. The nursery is always introducing innovative play and educational sessions with babies and children. My daughter was confident, sociable and also learnt a lot at nursery and talks positively of her time there now. My baby daughter has settled in well and already seems to be enjoying her time there too.

My daughter has only attended the nursery for a short while, but the whole family has been made to feel so welcome. The staff are all really professional and have really helped and guided us with her settling in sessions. So happy with our choice to send her there.

Amazing nursery my son has been going since September this year and he's getting on so well there. Staff are very good especially at comforting him when he first started because he kept getting upset after me. I was worried about his speaking and communication when he started, however, feel he has come on leaps and bounds since starting there. Lovely nursery and staff!

ABC is a great nursery. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time here. She's learnt numerous things; making friends and growing in confidence are the two factors ABC has provided our daughter with.

It has given her the perfect start to her upcoming Pre School in Hampshire. I wish we weren't moving, otherwise she would have happily stayed at ABC :-)
