A B C Day Nursery

Both of my children attended this nursery from when they were 9months old, dating back to 2020.

The staff/manager are all amazing and it was incredible to see how much my children were learning and growing whilst having fun.

All areas of the nursery are clean and they have a variety of different foods which is well balanced. The care in which my children have received is amazing and you can see the relationships between the staff and children are so close.

The staff/manager go above and beyond with the children and always at pick up let you know how their day has been.

The children have a variety of activities and have such fun in the summer with staff having water fun ! I am sad to see my last child leave this nursery :(

This nursery has felt like an extension of family life for my daughter. The staff are so in tune with each child and their unique needs. My daughter speaks often about how much she enjoys going. As a full time working mum it has given me such peace of mind knowing how well she is looked after. I see investment in the facilities for the children and creativity in celebrating their milestones. The staff are approachable, friendly and caring. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

This is an amzing nursery. Very caring, supportive and approachable staff. My son started at 2 years old and wouldnt interact with anyone, wouldnt talk or ask for help either. He has left this year to go to school full of confidence, made friends, and speaking to staff. The staff meet childrens individual needs, and put their all into what they do. The children do a great range of activities indoors and outdoors, and also provide them with fun days with splash pads and water play, graduation days, and parent stay and plays. They have outdoor people come in to do activities, such as disco duck, spanish, and mini athletics which my son loved doing. I honeslty dont think I could have found a better nursery for my son to attend. Staff always keep you updated on your childs progress, written and verbally, and provide photos of what your child has done throughout the week. Its 100% one of the best nursery's around!

Amazing nursery! wonderful staff and amazing management. my child blossomed so greatly with the help of this nursery. up to date setting and staff really put your mind at ease. children are well looked after in their care

My 4 year old has just left abc! I cannot express how amazing the staff are and how hard they work. My daughter has came on leaps and bounds since starting Abc. She had the best time there and loved going to nursery everyday. Cannot recommend this nursery enough! The rooms are spacious with all different kind of areas and the new outdoor area is amazing!

My son was admitted in this nursery when he was 2.5 years old. We continued here for an year. After that, we relocated to India as I got a job in India. This is an excellent nursery. My son has a problem in social interaction. The nursery helped him in all possible ways to overcome this and always supported him. Whenever we became worried about our son, they came up with valuable inputs. The staffs are excellent and very caring. My son used to enjoy his time there. Highly recommended.

My children have thrived here. Staff are warm, loving and genuinely delight in the children. They go above and beyond and individuality is valued and celebrated. They work really hard to provide a stimulating and educational environment whilst embracing continuous provision, curiosity and play. I felt like they really knew my children. Genuinely so sad that my era of nursery is over as ABC are a real staple of the community, but my girls have started school as happy, confident children who have been given the best start. Liz - manager - has always tried to accommodate individual circumstances and always goes above and beyond for her staff / the community. Can't rate them highly enough especially in a tough economic climate / chronic underfunding.

After a bad experience with both a nursery and a childminder, I was hesitant to send my daughter to another nursery. After meeting the staff at ABC I was put at ease. My daughter has additional needs and the nursery has supported her through the last 2 years bringing on her speech and confidence. My only regret is that I didn't send her there first.

Both my children have used this nursery with the youngest just leaving to go to school. The staff are amazing and so caring towards the children. The nursery is full of fun everyday. I would recommend this nursery one thousand percent. They put me as a mother as ease leaving my children knowing they are in safe loving hands. Thanks again ABC Day Nursery!

Highly recommend ABC Nursery, a lovely family-run business that cares immensely for the children and is always striving to get the best out of the children. I've used them from 2007-2010 and then from 2020-2024. Both were very positive experiences and wouldn't send my children anywhere else as they've given them the best start in life ready for school.

I have two children and both attended this nursery 7 years apart. This nursery is outstanding. They go above and beyond for your children and both have been ready for school by the time they have finished- they both started at 9 months old up until just under 5 years old. They have been extremely well looked after and have learned so much from their experiences and from the staff taking care of them. They have been taught, through play, all about numbers, shapes, and phonics- the nursery does its best to give children the best start in life and they ensure lots of fun is had too in all manner of different activities. Both my children have loved this nursery and have been very sad to leave.

Updates and photos via the online group are lovely, you’re made to feel part of their day- I’ll miss it so much now she’s moving on to school. They gave her such a lovely start - thank you!

My daughter has been here for a couple of years and she absolutely loves it, great place, lots to do, friendly staff and they always go above and beyond to keep the children happy with entertainment on special occasions, parties etc. Would highly recommend.

A superb family run nursery, with superb staff. I would recommend ABC to anyone, my daughter has excelled at this nursery and I’m sad she has to leave for school.

I'm so pleased with my son's time at ABC nursery so far! His social skills have come on leaps and bounds, along with all the experiences he has gained alongside his peers which is difficult to offer at home. I was very nervous leaving my son at 8 months old in the care of another but the nursery were absolutely wonderful in offering a settling in period before leaving him for a full day. The staff obviously care so much for the children and it is a lovely environment for the children too.

What a fantastic nursery A B C really is! My son has attended for over a year now and has come on leaps and bounds. My son really struggled with his speech when he first started, the staff have worked tirelessly with him to improve his speech and other things, and now he has a fantastic vocabulary and is so much more confident. The staff are all lovely and welcoming, the whole place has a family feel to it and is a lovely safe and clean place for your child to grow up in. A B C is by far the best nursery around. If you’re looking at sending your child to nursery then definitely give the manager and the ladies at A B C a thought.

I have nothing but praise for the A B C Nursery. The staff are not only friendly and polite but very welcoming to new parents. It can be daunting leaving your child at such a young age (mine was nine months old) but they made us feel very comfortable and secure. The activities that the children do are lovely, there are music lessons on a Monday that my son loves, along with lots of painting and creative activities. The outside garden area has recently been done out and the kids go out in it every day. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.
