I love this nursery because 1) My children are happy and settled there. 2) They give lots of feedback through the app, including what your child has eaten, nap times and nappy changes. They also seem very switched on about each child and give feedback at pick-up. 3)They have a lovely outdoor space and
the children are always doing fun activities. 4) Food is prepared in-house. I am impressed at what my children will eat given how picky they are at home. 5) My children have allergies, I have never had any issues with the nursery about this. Other notes: they accept tax-free childcare and funded hours. You can spread the hours over the calendar year. So 30 hours term time funding actually pays for 2 full days a week (each day is 10.5 hours and covers school holidays). You pay a flat fee for food/other consumables on the days that the childcare is paid for by funded hours. This is fairly standard between nurseries. Overall a fantastic nursery that is competitively priced for the care provided

My daughter enjoys Victoria Road Nursery. The staff are very experienced and create fun activities for the children. We are kept up to date using the app which is always very detailed. The play areas are great. The team work well on providing a range of different activities.

Our daughter has recently graduated from Victoria Nursery and we have been so pleased with the level of personalised support and development she has had over the past three years. The team are so positive and show such genuine care for the children. Our eight month old has just started and it was such

Our son has been going to Victoria Nursery since May 2021. As soon as we walked into the nursery on our first visit, we were put at ease and knew this was the nursery for us. The staff are very accommodating, while being very professional and they take very good care of individual needs and learning
for our children. The garden is amazing which my son loves. He struggled at the beginning and it took him some time to settle in, but he has been very happy with his key workers and created a very good bond with them. We would highly recommend it to all the parents looking for a warm atmosphere and the daily updates on the app, that makes you feel like your child is still with you, all day.

Both of our children have attended Victoria Nursery. Our 9 year old still talks about it fondly now, and our 3 year old loves going. I wouldn't choose any other nursery and can't recommend it enough. A real family feel, where every child is treated as an individual. All of the staff treat the children
as if they were their own. The children have a wide range of experiences, following the EYFS to encourage them in their development and have a whole load of fun! 11/10. Wonderful.

We have used the nursery for both our children over the last 5 years. We wholeheartedly recommend them! We love the staff! It’s clear they care about the children and enjoy their roles. They have been engaging from day one! The app they have started using is very informative. It gives you a fantastic

Wonderful staff, lovely environment. Our son obviously loves his time at the nursery. They are very supportive and help us/support us with his development day to day. We would like to get more frequent updates on his general development and learning as we only get the folders every 6 months or so currently.
As he is now nearly 3 we feel it's important, given potty training, speech, real-world understanding, numbers etc.

I asked my daughter what to write about nursery and she immediately replied "I love nursery." We feel Victoria Nursery provides an exceptionally high level of care for our child. They are gentle, sensitive, nurturing and manage a wonderful balance of play and learning. There is good communication between
staff and parents and nothing is too much trouble. Most importantly, they have a great connection with our daughter and really care about her. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We love this nursery! Both of my girls have attended Victoria Nursery and I know that, whilst she really enjoys school now, my eldest would love to go back! It’s so important to know that your little one is happy at their childcare setting and this has always been evident with mine! My little one practically
skips all the way there in the morning! The staff are lovely and so approachable, communication is excellent and all the children really do seem so happy!

Hello, my name is Abbie, and I started out at the nursery in 2017 as a level 3 apprentice and am now a fully qualified level 3 practitioner. The environment at the nursery is very lovely, the nursery has a homely atmosphere, and we are all one big family. We work together and support each other.


During my time at the nursery, I have worked in all rooms with all different age groups, and currently I am working in Little Bears II room - with children aged 2-3 years old.

Throughout my time at the nursery, I have built my confidence, enhanced my knowledge and gained new skills, which have led me to my role as a deputy manager.

My name is Carrie Anne, and I have been working at Victoria Nursery for over 20 years! In my time here, I have worked in all the rooms, and currently, I am based in our lovely Cabin, which is a standalone classroom for our youngest children. I love working in this room and watching our oldest children grow in confidence and achieve their goals, especially as they are preparing for school and developing more and more independence.


The team at Victoria Nursery is like a tightly knit family with everyone working together and supporting each other. Working in such a lovely environment has enabled me to develop my skills as a practitioner and further my career. I started working at Victoria Nursery in February 2020. I moved to Birmingham away from my home, and when I arrived at Victoria Nursery, I felt so welcomed by all the friendly staff.


Victoria nursery has such a wonderful, homely feeling. I have worked here for over a year now and really enjoy my job. I have a level 2 & 3 Childcare qualifications, an understanding of autism certificate, I am also first aid trained and do frequent online training to help improve my practice.

I have always been passionate about supporting children’s early development in a nurturing and stimulating environment. I enjoy creating engaging activities that spark curiosity and encourage independence. Watching children grow in confidence and reach new milestones is the most rewarding part of my job. As an apprentice nursery practitioner, I love learning and growing alongside the children. I work in Little Bears, where I create fun and engaging activities that encourage exploration. Every day is different, and I enjoy watching children develop confidence and independence. The team at Victoria Nursery is incredibly supportive, and I am learning so much. I am excited to continue developing my skills and knowledge in early years education. I work in the Baby room.
