What really stands out is how well we know all of the staff, regardless of which room they work in. There's such a warm, consistent culture across the whole nursery, and every member of the team builds real, personal relationships with both the children and the parents. That sense of community is incredibly special and reassuring.
Our daughter is so happy there, and we honestly believe the team have played a huge role in shaping her into the confident, curious and happy little girl she is today. The care, attention and encouragement they give every day does not go unnoticed. We will be very sad to leave!
My daughter started nursery when she was 16 months old, she is attending Victoria nursery for more than 6 months now.
Overall, we had a very good experience, supportive, kind and caring team, very professional, nice facilities, big sunny rooms, many toys, a garden, happy creative vibe.
My child is happy to go in, she eats well and sleeps well in the nursery. She made a good progress in her learning too.
I get to see what she is doing and her photos through the frequent app updates and how she progressed through reports.
I am very happy and grateful that we found this nursery (or it found us). I do, whole heartedly, recommend it!
Victoria Nursery is an astoundingly brilliant nursery and we are so pleased with the care that all the staff give our son. He particularly loves the outdoor space and forest school ethos. I am thrilled to see the pictures of him taking part in such a range of activities each day and enjoy reading reports of how he is developing skills.
I had been driving past this nursery for years on my way to work, before I was even pregnant i always thought I'd love my child to attend this nursery. So when that did happen I new exactly were I wanted to send him.My son has now been attending Victoria Nursery since September 2023. The nursery is everything I hoped for and more. Although my son was reluctant at first I new straight away when I walked away he would be in safe loving hands.Every single staff member is amazing full of knowledge and care for the children as if they were one of there own. The time and patience they give to each child is unmatched. My son now hops skips and jumps into nursery and doesn't even look back. They do so many different activities with the children and my son absolutely loves the outside play, creating things playing in the mud exploring. When he leaves in September both me and him will truly miss being at this nursery. I highly recommend the nursery. My only wish is that my son could stay longer xxxx
Thank you for your kind words. We will miss him so much when he leaves!
I cannot speak highly enough of Victoria Nursery. Every single one of the staff is so warm and affectionate to the children and this creates a real family atmosphere within the nursery. Every staff member knows all of the children so no matter who you speak to they know your child and also know who you are, which gives a real personal touch. Our son took a very long and time to get used to nursery and everyone was so good with him that I never had any worries about leaving him there. Great facilities, great activities, great communication, great staff, great nursery. It's such a friendly place and it's a joy to chat to everyone at drop off and pick up. It's a wonderful nursery and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.
My son has just left Victoria Road Nursery and we can't thank them enough for everything they have done in his early years. He started off hesitant and not sure as a baby and by the end of his time there he was a confident little boy asking to go into nursery. This is all down to the nursery staff who create an incredibly nurturing environment. They gave lots of reassurance to us as parents and to my son who was struggling to settle and came up with lots of practical ideas such as visual timetable which really helped, they weren't afraid of giving him a big cuddle either which is exactly what he needed. The management are fantastic and take feedback on board from parents really well, you feel really listened to. I can't recommend the nursery enough.
Our daughter has been attending Victoria nursery since February 2024 and we couldn't be happier with our/her experience so far. She is super happy there and has learnt so much. She's had amazing key workers from the start, but all staff at Victoria Nursery is lovely and caring. We couldn't recommend this Nursery enough!!
My daughter has been at Victoria Nursery for nearly 2 years now and she absolutely loves it there. The nursery has a homely, nurturing feel and the staff are like a close-knit family. They have a great outdoor area which is always utilised and there are always interesting and fun activities which keep my daughter engaged. It's been a comfort to know that my daughter is being taken care of so well and that she loves being there. She has made great connections with the staff and her friends. The staff are really supportive and friendly and know all the children really well. Couldn't recommend it enough.
He was so sad to be leaving the nursery, as he has made some amazing friends and bonds with his peers and the nursery workers.
They are amazing and have really prepared him to recognise letters and numbers, spell his name, learn about emotions and also have lots of fun and play. My girl is there now and she is very very settled, they have helped her settle in smoothly! i am very comfortable leaving her there knowing that she gets great care and lots of learning and also a chance to explore with different mediums, toys, stories and songs.
We couldn't be happier with the care our little one receives at Victoria nursery . From the very beginning, the staff have been so warm, welcoming, and supportive, making the transition so much easier for both us and our son. He has settled in beautifully and absolutely loves his time there. We've really noticed how much he is learning and growing every day, and it's wonderful to see how excited he is to go in. The team are fantastic at keeping us updated and always happy to chat through his progress. We feel reassured knowing he is safe, happy, and thriving. One thing that has really stood out to us is how attentive the team are to his allergies. They are completely on top of it, always careful and reassuring, which gives us such peace of mind. Baby room are doing a fantastic job , thank you x
I highly recommend Victoria Nursery. My daughter is very happy there; staff care for all the children (not just those in their rooms), there is a range of activities and an end of week summary including photos. Great nursery in the Harborne area.
My daughter attends Victoria Nersery since November od 2023 and she just loves it. Teachers and assistants are highly professional and very friendly. And their food are so yummy my daughter says. My daughter attends 3 days a week and the days she is at home she misses nersery and always wonreding why she is not going to play with her friend to nersery. Nersery has very lovely garden and lots of activities for kids. Very clean inside, toilets, bathrooms, garden. We have very positive experience being there, thank you!
My son has just left Victoria nursery to start school and was here from the age of one and my daughter has been here for over a year. I have continually been pleased with the care that both have received. The staff know all the children as it is a small setting. Both my children love the outdoor areas and enjoy the forest school sessions. Staff are very supportive to my children's needs. Whether it be potty training or teaching them how to hold a pen. Staff will tailor sessions to the children's interests- e.g making volcanic eruptions or looking for bugs and researching them. The staff are always enthusiastic and will provide time for feedback on your child's day. Victoria Nursery is a lovely setting and I highly recommend it.
We've sent my son Miles to Victoria nursery since September 25. He seems very happy and has been looked after very well through his first settling-in month.
We love the nurturing environment here, and the staffs are super supportive and warm friendly, all the staffs in his room knew him well, and can give us detailed feedback daily during the pick-ups.
Thank you Victoria Nursery xx
Activities are varied and fun, nutrition is great and my child is thriving and happy.
Management has also been excellent!
The staff genuinely adore all of the children, whether they are in their direct rooms or not. It's the friendliest environment you will ever find, with happy staff and happy children. I couldn't recommend it more.
My second child has just graduated from Victoria Nursery, and honestly, it's the end of an era for us. Both of my kids have been there from the baby room all the way through to preschool, and I can't speak highly enough of the place. The staff are just incredible - so kind, so welcoming, and they've made the nursery feel like a second home for my children.
Vic rd has been such a special part of our lives that starting school starting has actually been tough for my son. When I asked him why he didn't want to go, he said, "Because I've been at Nursery I was a baby and I miss it." That says it all, really. What more could you ask for?
I'll miss the staff too, it's been such a joy having these beautiful memories from my children's early years to hold onto and share.
Thank you for your kind words, Renna! We are missing both boys dearly!
Our eldest went to a different nursery, which was also generally very good, but we are happier with the smaller environment and the way in which the staff really get to know the children at Victoria Nursery.
My son joined the nursery at the beginning of the summer. We've been very pleased with the care the nursery has provided and how they have helped him settle in and develop. The staff are all extremely friendly and clearly make a huge effort to organise activities for the children. We've also been very impressed with the level of organisation, communication, and feedback about his day.
My 8-month-old son settled in really quickly and easily and he formed a good bond with the baby room staff; he seems to enjoy his days at nursery and comes home happy and stimulated. The care and attention are great and provide me with reassurance that he is well looked after. I receive constant updates via the app on what he is doing during the day which also helps with my 'separation anxiety'!
Thank you for your kind words! We love having him here!
