Kids Planet George Perkins

George Perkins is an excellent nursery for all children. Staff are friendly and work hard to help children learn and develop their skills from a range of activities at the nursery. This is our second child at the Nursery and we are satisfied with support provided. Thank you.

George Perkins is a great nursery with staff that are smart, kind and nurturing. You always feel welcome and the staff are invested in your child's development and wellbeing. Particularly the baby room and pre school are led well and have a great culture. The children enjoy the outside space and are very connected to the staff who are happy to tailor their support to your child's needs.

It's going to be difficult putting into words just how incredible this nursery is, but I'm going to try my best. When my son(age 2) joined in September he was non-verbal. He didn't even call me momma. Now? He calls me momma, asks for milk, blows me a kiss, says he's tired, and countless other words. After a settling in period the stuff quickly back to work on putting my son on a SEN Plan so that all the staff knew the best way of meeting my child's needs. I was so impressed at how they wanted to know about my child's background but also mine so they had a broad view of what our lives were like at home. Every staff member I've come into contact with that this nursery has been welcoming and kind and gentle with both of my child and myself.

Nasra, zainab and henna are the key people in my child's care. Each of these ladies were born to work in childcare. They take their jobs incredibly seriously and are focussed of the safety and happiness of the children.

Outstanding nursery.

Our family has been part of this nursery for several years now. Our son attended for three years, and during that time the staff were incredibly supportive of his SEN needs. They showed genuine care, patience, and understanding, and always worked closely with us to support his development.

Now our daughter attends the nursery, and she is extremely happy there. She settles well, enjoys her time, and clearly feels safe and cared for. The staff are kind, attentive, and create a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

We are very grateful for the support our family has received over the years and would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

Our child had a wonderful experience at Kids Planet George Perkins Nursery. From the very beginning, the staff were warm, attentive, and made him feel completely at home. The care and dedication they showed were exceptional-he was always happy, engaged, and thriving in their nurturing environment.

We especially appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing he was safe, learning, and enjoying his time there. The staff's enthusiasm and kindness are truly commendable-they create a welcoming atmosphere where children feel valued and supported.

The nursery's facilities are fantastic, with a great mix of structured learning and free play, both indoors and outdoors. The management is highly professional, communicative, and always approachable.

We love seeing the updates and photos-it's clear that the children are engaged, happy, and well looked after. The communication from the team is excellent, and we always feel informed and supported.

Experience of having my child at nursary was amazing all the staff is very polite,helpful and experienced in their roll of job,my son feels happy safe, learning and exploring new things everyday with an expert staff..I m very thankful to all of them much appriciated

All staff at the nursery are kind, caring and genuinely look happy to be there every day. They are extremely welcoming, enthusiastic and always smiling. They are really caring and nurturing with the children and do a good mix of learning activities and also allowing free play. Children are always engaged and happy. My daughter absolutely loves it there and I feel confident that she is safe and cared for - all her keyworkers have been absolutely fantastic and she has great relationships with all the staff. I would be absolutely exhausted from looking after little kids all day, but none of the staff ever seem tired!

The outdoor space is absolutely brilliant and the preschool indoor space is really large and nicely laid out.

The manager communicates really well and always answers emails. She is very present and approachable. She also really cares for all the children and gets involved with them.

Lovely nursery, care from staff members is absolutely brilliant. All key workers are very caring and diligent. I'm always very content dropping my daughter to nursery that she will be cared for very well. I also especially like the focus on healthy and fresh meals.

I can't rate this nursery enough. My first daughter has been here since she was 1 year old and left this August to start school. And she still talks about the staff and her friends she made there. She always loved going. My second daughter is now going here and she is in baby room currently and it hasn't taken her long to settle into nursery! She smiles when I pick her up. I have built up such a great relationship with the nursery staff and feel able to tell them how I feel about things. And they give back such detailed end-of-day reports of the children.

I am so pleased with Kids Planet Geroge Perkins. The staff are so kind and friendly but most of all they show great care for my child. I couldn't be more happy with it as a nursery.

Excellent nursery. Lots of variety of activities. Even a sports coach. Great meals and snacks. Kind staff. Long tenure of staff showing they enjoy their jobs on the whole. Kids are very happy at the nursery. Good at adapting to each child's needs.

The staff and management are amazing. This is one of the best nurseries I know. They do so much with the children, my daughter comes home every day learning so much, it shocked me what she picked up on a daily basis. They were really helpful and accommodating with a swap of days I needed for a family funeral and they were amazing and so understanding about it all.

They respond to the child's emotional and physical needs and provide care which is personalised - moving them into different spaces for sleep/play/comfort as the children require and will benefit from most. We trust them with our daughter implicitly and haven't hesitated to sign up our second child. Outstanding care.

We love sending our daughter to George Perkins Nursery, we know she is well looked after, cared for and learning to grow in a nurturing environment. She comes home fulfilled and worn out which is perfect! All the staff are so kind and friendly and they always take the time to explain what she has been up to during her day. The nursery always has a calm and pleasant atmosphere and we are very grateful to all the staff for looking after and helping to raise our daughter.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at George Perkins. They helped ease me and my 11-month-old into our new routine in August 2023. The ladies in the baby room are full of kindness and compassion and are wonderful with all the babies and come up with lovely creative play, getting them outside regularly and baking. I love seeing what he gets up to on the app and I always get a thorough handover at the end of each day.

Our son loves going to Kids Planet George Perkins, which is the most important thing. The staff there are caring and kind, and we have seen our son make friends and play with many different children. They are responsive to queries and emails. The premises are clean and there is a nice outdoor space which our son enjoys, and I like the proactive attitude of staff or taking the kids outside whenever possible. Well done Manager and team!

This is a great nursery with very friendly staff. My daughter loves it there and has learnt a lot. The facilities are very good, and they regularly update the app so parents can have updates on their children.

Our son has been going to George Perkins since June and full-time since October. He seems so happy and is thriving there. We get regular updates and pictures that document his activities and progress. He loves the nursery staff there and it seems such a warm and friendly environment when we drop him off/pick him up etc.
