The Nest Nursery Lime Tree

My son and I absolutely love The Nest Nursery Lime Tree! It is beautiful inside and out, there are always beautiful activities set up for the children to explore. The staff are always very friendly and happy to see us. My son is definitely thriving at nursery and comes home with a new word he’s learnt every time!

My son started at the Nest in April '22 just after his 1st birthday. It took him 3 months to settle in because it was a new environment but every single member of staff helped tremendously to help get him settled in. As a very anxious mum, they also helped calmed my nerves and we worked together to help my son settle in as quickly as possible. The staff are all so friendly, caring and loving towards all of the children which is so great to see. My son is so happy there now and I am over the moon he has settled in so well. I love the ethos of the nursery and the curiosity approach and actually, the nursery has taught me so much as well about parenting. I am a much more relaxed mum now my son is happy at this nursery. I love the nursery itself as well, there are two rooms for the babies which is great as they are able to move between the two rooms which offer different types of play, the garden is so big and has lots to explore as well! I would and have recommended this nursery to others!

Fantastic nursery - love the curiosity approach. My son is thriving there and seems to really enjoy himself. I love if he comes home in a different set of clothes then what I sent him in - love messy play! Independence is encouraged but also working together and helping others.

My daughter just loves this nursery, she learned many creative things here. The staff are really nice and helpful. All the teachers are really friendly and always help and focus each child to learn accordingly to their nature and learning abilities.

Amazing nursery. Lovely setting and my child is always happy when they are there. The staff are lovely and extremely accommodating. There are lots of activities for the children and I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son joined in January 2022. He attended a previous nursery but they permanently closed in December 2021. It took him a very long time to settle in at his previous nursery. He more or less settled in straight away at the nest. I put this down to the staff being so patient and attentive towards all the children. There is a family vibe as soon as you walk in and a homely feeling. We are provided with important updates always. It’s very difficult leaving your child to go to work but I feel reassured that my son is in the best hands. All the staff here are so lovely. Thank you all for your hard work.

I was desperate to get my daughter into the Nest as I'd heard great things and I really believe in the curiosity approach. On viewing the nursery, I was impressed with the beautiful resources and natural objects the children have access to. Since joining at 10 months, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds. Being a lockdown baby she hadn't spent much time with other children but within a few days, she was very comfortable and clearly enjoys her time at the Nest. Staff are very welcoming and approachable, always happy to listen to any concerns or answer any questions. It is clear they form lovely relationships and genuinely care! I would definitely recommend the Nest to other parents.

My daughter started the in June 2021. I was very anxious for her to start but everyone at the nursery were fantastic with reassuring me and my daughter. My daughter has settled in so well and really enjoys her time there. I love the curiosity approach and it’s perfect for my little girl. All the staff are friendly and lovely!

This is a lovely nursery. We have found the curiosity approach to be very beneficial. We especially like that the environment is not full of plastic toys and instead is filled with natural products. Children are free to explore and engage in activities that spark their interest. They spend lots of time outside playing and engaging with the garden. Lots of education happens outside as well as inside. The staff really make this nursery outstanding. All are extremely caring and very knowledgeable about all sorts of aspects in regards to child development such as toilet training, diet, teeth cleaning etc. They always have time for a chat or a phone call when there is something important to discuss. What I also really like is that it is not just a "little school"- this is a place to learn, but through play and enjoyment. Our son has really enjoyed his time at The Nest Nursery Lime Tree.

My son has been at the nursery for around two and a half years, and we have been extremely happy with the care and the experience that my son has received. All the staff genuinely care for all the children and obviously love working at the nursery. Staff turn over is very low, so the children have the benefits of developing good relationships with the all the staff. Facilities are great, and the outdoor space at the rear of the nursery allows for some great play experiences. The philosophy of the nursery, the curiosity approach, allows the children to have great experiences day in and day out. Relationships with parents are also great. I would recommend the nursery without hesitation.

He started in January 2021 and settled in straight away. I love the natural and forestry element of the nursery, and love that my son can explore his surroundings, developing his independent and social skills.

We love The Nest Lime Tree nursery. All three of my boys have been very happy there. Communication with key workers is great, and we all love the curiosity approach that they use! Resources are all natural, and food is great. Would highly recommend.

Really lovely and friendly staff at the nursery. My daughter's settled in really nicely. They picked up a lot from the teachers and other children. The app is very helpful and well updated with picture and assessment of my children.

Music and books also play a big role at Lime Tree, and both my kids really enjoy learn and sign and other music sessions.

The Nest Nursery Lime Tree is such a beautiful place for your little one to grow. With the curiosity approach, it offers a safe place to learn and take risks. We choose Lime Tree’s as it has a no plastic policy - we have enough plastic toys at home to play with. We wanted a nursery that would offer something different. The staff are very caring towards the children and always available to talk too. During Covid, the standards have remained high, and the level of support for the children and families have been excellent. They try to fulfil last-minute extra day requests, which has been very helpful during Covid.

If you are looking for a nursery, a tour is definitely recommended!

From the moment I walked into this nursery with my son, we fell in love with it, and it's 'home from home' feel. The nursery environment is beautiful, and the staff are very caring and attentive. When my son started at 9-months-old, I was so nervous leaving him for the first time, but the staff reassured me, and when I collected my happy baby, that reassured me further. All the staff are passionate about what they do, and this shows in how they care for all the children, and the quality feedback I get at the end of the day telling me everything he has been up to throughout his day. My son has been at this nursery for a year now, and we love it; highly recommended.

Excellent nursery. The main strength must be the caring staff and the activities provided to children. The decoration with natural colours and materials is also outstanding. We have been fortunate and satisfied with our choice.

I have two girls at the nursery who have loved their experience at nursery. Every day they are excited to explore new ideas and resources. As an early years practitioner myself I am continually inspired by the curiosity approach and the awe and wonder that is captured. The staff have been caring and nurturing and it feels like a second home and family.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery. I have no worries about leaving him as I know he will be well looked after by all the excellent staff. The ethos of the nursery means that my son learns so much through play and exploring his environment.
