Snapdragons Nursery Atworth

The children are kind and considerate to each other and practice great routines, while also getting to explore what they are interested in. We can't recommend Snapdragons enough to local families!

Both our children have attended Snapdragons Atworth. The team are extremely friendly and helpful with any questions that we have had. They have been great with communication and changes that have taken place in the nursery during the past year. Our youngest is now coming to the end of her time at Snapdragons and has had a fantastic experience. The nursery has provided great meals, and she eats things we wouldn't imagine she would ever try at home! The activities that she does are varied, and she really enjoys them. We really like the curiosity approach that they use, and our daughter carries this on at home. The outdoor space is great, and we really like that she spends so much time outdoors. We will really miss the team and environment at Atworth, but know that they have gone above and beyond to ensure that our daughter is ready to move on to school in September.

My little boy has settled well despite difficult Covid restrictions. The staff were very supportive and looked after him brilliantly. He seems loved and cared for and is now happy to go in!

Snapdragons Nursery Atworht is the most wonderful nursery. The care our girls receive is second to none. The activities are varied, the food is excellent, and the staff are fantastic. We wouldn't have our girls anywhere else.

Snapdragons have taken all three of our boys, couldn't have wished for a better setting or staff to take care of them when they aren't with us!

My child loves Snapdragons. Each day she is able to participate in a wide range of fun activities. My child has really developed since attending in terms of her communication skills. The staff are amazing, and my child loves them. They are friendly and diligent, and I feel at ease knowing my child is in good hands.

Please note - due to COVID we have not been able to see inside the nursery, and so it is difficult to really rate equipment and facilities, but from the photos on the app it looks good.

I am so impressed with the staff at Snapdragons Atworth! They are so kind and caring, and I feel so happy to leave my child with them. It is so reassuring to know that they are having a fab time and feel loved in their "home away from home".

It would be nice to have a more detailed update of how the little ones are getting on in terms of progress, development of behaviour - there was due to be a parents' evening pre-Covid, which was cancelled and it would be good for this to be rescheduled. Also, parent-line has not been updated since before lockdown and it would be nice to see some more pictures and updates on there. Cleanliness could be improved.

Everyone has been amazing at dealing with return to nursery and helping my child settle in during Covid. Everyone is friendly and I feel comfortable leaving my child every time.

She loved going in and even after 3 months of lockdown she went straight in with no tears. I can’t thank the staff enough for her first experience of nursery. She loved it. Sadly we’ve moved away so she can no longer attend. If we could move the nursery with us we would have.

Both my (now) 3 yr old son and 1 yr old daughter attend Snapdragons. They were brilliant from the word go. Their communication is excellent and I really feel like our children are well cared for. The food is varied and locally sourced where possible. Any concerns we have had have been addressed and rectified immediately. They do a super job and we will all be sad to say goodbye in a year when school comes around!

We have been thrilled with the girls start to nursery. The staff have been attentive, supportive and really reassuring to all our needs. A huge thank you for making the start such a positive. The girls are very happy here - which is what is most important to us.

A lovely nursery, staff are very welcoming and approachable to talk to, they give a good review of your child’s day, and my little toddler loves going. Very good at keeping us informed particularly during COVID.

I have 2 grandchildren who both attend the nursery. Both girls are very happy and have settled well into nursery. Pre-school have very varied resources that extend the children's learning. The children have access to great outdoor spaces. Excellent food with lots of variety. Staff have a very good relationship with the children and we receive very good feedback at the end of every session. Management team friendly and readily available to answer any question or requests. I would highly recommend this nursery.

We moved to the area and Snapdragons was the perfect choice for us. The nursery has a lovely friendly family feel. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are more than happy to help with any questions that you have. I enjoy listening to the activities that my daughter has taken part in and also love the garden, as does she! The food always sounds great - she certainly eats well when she's in the nursery. The staff are always so enthusiastic and there is so much detail when you come to pick them up at the end of the day.

Would recommend the nursery to any parent looking in the area.

My daughter has been attending Snapdragons Nursery Atworth for around a year and the care that she receives is exemplary. It is a joy to see her so enthusiastic to come into the nursery and the staff that care for her have an excellent connection with her. The communication and information that we receive are clear and complete and she is developing into a confident young lady who is keen to learn new things. The nursery is homely, the food is excellent and the care is second to none.

We have found Snapdragons Atworth amazing. The staff are attentive, fun and creative and always friendly. I tell everyone what an amazing nursery this is and how nothing we have seen compares. The children are always engaged and happy, a wonderful place to send you child.

I always feel welcome and my child is happy each and every time she is at nursery. They do a wide range of activities which are fun, and educational.
