The nursery is a small 52 place settings split between 3 rooms and a large outdoor classroom and garden. The grassy garden is perfect for learning about nature, and the large undercover area lets the children play outside whatever the weather. Children are encouraged to explore and spend as much time as possible outside. The team run forest sessions and regular walks around the village.

I am a mum of 3 boys, and I have worked in the early years sector for over 15 years. I strive to support our staffing team to be the best they can be, providing learning opportunities and thriving to support our staff’s continuous professional development within the organisation. I work closely alongside our setting managers to develop their settings and help them to ensure we are maintaining to high standards and quality care and education through play we aim for within the company.
My name is Nina and I’m the Nursery Manager here at Willow Tree Nursery. Here is a little bit about me. I started my childcare journey around 20 years ago and have always had a passion to shape little minds, I’m a keen believer in children learning through play and being creative allows both children and adults to express themselves freely, making each day dynamic, exciting and hugely fulfilling.
My name is Etta I started working for the nursery as an apprentice in 2018, straight after I finished school with no experience of working with children. Over the years I have learnt through experiences in lots of different rooms, after lockdown I was placed into the baby room which is where I stayed for a couple of years and really enjoyed doing lots of sensory play and watching little babies grow into their characters and forming unique personalities. In 2023 I became Deputy Manager of Willow Tree Nursery which has been a good learning experience for me.
