Farley, Salisbury Outdoor Nursery School

Our daughter absolutely loves Farley Nursery School, and we love their approach. All the staff have been amazing: supportive, fun, caring, creative, the whole lot. They nurture qualities we really value in a sensitive and encouraging way.

Farley Nursery is just the most magical, amazing place we have ever come across, the setting is brilliant being based outside and the staff are just incredible. Our daughter always has the best days being outside and always comes home with a big smile and lots of fun stories to tell.

I couldn’t recommend Farley Nursery School more highly! Both my children have been so happy there since day 1! It is such a special place and there is nowhere else I have seen like it! The setting is so unique! The staff are so kind, nurturing and passionate, and encourage children to flourish and develop. They are full of energy and enthusiasm, and put so much thought into coming up with the most imaginative and exciting activities for the children, making use of different resources from nature and the great outdoors!

We absolutely love Farley Nursery and have done since day 1. Our daughter has been at Farley Nursery since she was just 1 and is now 3 and a half. She settled in quickly and has absolutely thrived in such a fun, friendly and supportive setting. She has made a lovely group of friends and just has such a good time whenever she is there. She truly embraces the outdoors and everything about it, which is evident outside of the nursery too. We will be sad when she leaves to go to school later this year but are quite sure Farley Nursery will always be a big part of who she is. Our son was signed up before he was even born and we're looking forward to his Farley Nursery journey.

Farley Nursery is the type of nursery I wish I had been able to attend when I was that age! The joy on the children (and staff) faces every day, rain or shine is a testament to the brilliance of this nursery.

My youngest attended from 10 months till he started school. And will return as a “ranger” during school holidays.

When I’m asked to describe Farley Nursery to other parents, I say imagine a massive field, full of mud and space to explore, run, jump, find bugs and be kids! This is what Farley Nursery is. It’s cold winter days sat around the fire eating baked beans or porridge cooked on the fire. It’s hot summer days on the slip and slide. It’s turning rain into rivers and creating a dam. It’s the love and attention the staff show the children. It’s family.

Both of my children have thrived in the environment at Farley Nursery School. They have developed a great love for the outdoors which has been fostered and encouraged. The natural environment has provided the stimulus for a solid introduction to learning which they have gone on to benefit from at school. Confidence in the facility and team who care for your children is one of the biggest obstacles to life as a working parent. Farley Nursery School has made each drop-off and transition as easy for us as possible and supported harder moments with compassion and most importantly kindness. It is a really wonderful environment for children to grow, learn and develop.

Our youngest son currently is in the youngest group at Farley Nursery and our oldest son left last year and now attends the holiday Rangers club. Both love Farley Nursery! There is nowhere I would feel more comforted in the knowledge that our children are having fun, being cared for, safe and doing amazing things. Farley Nursery is a family community, the staff are extraordinary, there is nothing too much trouble for them. The grounds are beautiful and they are taught to love and care for the nature surrounding them. You never feel like just another parent at Farley Nursery, the staff care for your child as part of your family unit, and look after you too! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Simply the best! My son has attended Farley Nursery since September 2020 and what a lucky boy he is. He is so happy, learns so much, spends so much time outside and has the time of his life. I wish I had been lucky enough to attend a nursery like Farley. It really is a magical nursery to attend.

Anyone you speak to in Hampshire/Wiltshire knows of Farley Nursery School - it has an outstanding reputation and it deserves to have this. It sits in the most amazing setting - surrounded by fields, a yurt in their own field where they have a fire and sing songs/read books, sandpits, tractor, fort etc. What more could a child want in their first few years attending a nursery?

The staff are amazing - so caring, thoughtful, warm, friendly and all the children are so happy and eager to go through the doors in the morning. I leave my son with peace of mind that he will have the best day.

I can't thank Farley Nursery School and their staff enough for all they do. If you can send your child here you must.

Both our children have attended Farley Nursery School, my youngest being in his last year. The Farley experience is second to none, the ethos and day to day running is outstanding. Every child is made to feel like an individual and is catered for. The staff are always welcoming with a smile. Our daughter has special needs and they played a huge part in her hitting her milestones, something we could have only dreamt of when we had her diagnosis.

Our son has flourished, he loves to be outdoors and to learn whilst running around! If he comes back covered in mud we know it's been a particularly good day! We have always felt safe in the knowledge that our children have been given the best care and start to education they possibly can. I recommend Farely Nursery School to everyone!

There are no words in the English dictionary strong enough to describe how amazing Farley Nursery School is. I have the utmost confidence in them when it comes to them caring for my children. They are our extended family.

I am a first-time mum, whose first 10 months were in lockdown. Having spent the best part of a year with my little girl, I was nervous about her starting nursery and handing the reins to a complete unknown. As soon as we walked into Farley Nursery School, all anxieties dispersed immediately and our little girl was more than happy to go with the amazing staff. Since then we have never looked back, our little girl knows when we drive through the gates and gets so excited.
