Tops Day Nurseries: Mini Mariners Nursery

Love this nursery. The staff couldn’t make your child more welcome, my daughter loves going there and has settled in so well!

Amazing nursery and staff! Having moved my son from elsewhere we are extremely happy with everything. The free settling in sessions are worth their weight in gold as my son had quite a severe separation from the other playschool we tried, so he got to know everyone and how the nursery worked. We did this for two months at least once a week and having started properly this January, he's loving it! And I feel happy to know he's looked after whilst I am at work!

Mini Mariners has been great for my daughter, she has settled in really well at such a young age. The staff are always friendly, there are great activities for the children to do and I always feel as though they have the children’s best interests.

My younger get son struggled settling but in the first few weeks had so many cuddles to get him through. He now runs in shrieking and can't wait to play with whatever is out. I find this varies daily. Sometimes it's dinosaurs stomping in cereal, water play, painting and so much more.

I'd like to thank all the staff as they have really made my boys feel at home. I couldn't ask for kinder, more friendly people to look after them and help them develop.

Very good and went above and beyond to support our child with extra needs, the ey log is amazing for communication and the staff are always bubbly and happy. Two key workers have worked wonders with my son, thank you, would recommend this nursery to anyone

This nursery provides varied and interesting activities for my child to take part in. My child is never upset to go to nursery, although they get slightly upset when I leave them. The staff at the nursery use distraction to calm my child down and they are happy playing after 10 minutes at the most. The nursery always appears clean and tidy. We get sickness notifications and explanations of what will be done to prevent this sickness spreading.

The staff at Mini Mariners are excellent and I know my children are being very well cared for when I leave them - the varied programme is also excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery!

My nearly 4 year old has been attending Tops since he was 2 and a half and has had come on in leaps and bounds. Staff were concerned about his speech and put things in place to encourage him to talk whilst he was in nursery. Now, staff have told me he doesn't stop talking. He has made lots of good friendships with other children and he talks a lot at home about his friends and the staff. His younger brother is also just started at Tops and is taking a bit of time to settle, but he now does really seem to have a smile on his face when I go to collect him instead he would get upset. I can't recommend mini mariners enough my experience has been a positive one.

My daughter has a fantastic time at Mini Mariners - she does lots of fun activities and is very happy there. The success of the nursery is almost completely down to the very dedicated staff - our daughter has a fantastic keyworker who has made all the difference and the other staff are brilliant too. I feel that she is safe and that I can peacefully be at work without worrying about her wellbeing - she sometimes loves it so much she doesn't want to come home!!

I have recommended Mini Mariners to a friend who has since secured her son a space at the preschool starting in January. I find the environment very welcoming and the staff extremely well connected with the children. My two children love going to Mini Mariners. In particular, I like the eyLog system which allows me to see what they have been doing throughout the day.

This is a brilliant setting, my children are happy and love spending time here, the staff are amazing. They care for the kids as if they are their own, and there are always plenty of activities to keep the children interested. It's great to hear about how the kids are developing through the reports we receive (by chatting to the staff but also through an online system). The inside space isn't very big but it is managed really well for what they have available! I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

The nursery has been absolutely brilliant with regards to our son and his transition from the baby room to the toddlers. They have let us know using the EY Log that after a fretful drop off he soon settled and got stuck in with an activity. He is always happy and animated when picked up which is a sure sign of a really good day. Thanks Mini Mariners, you do a fantastic job.
