Little Trees Lansdown offers a fun, safe and clean environment for children to play and learn.

Friendly, highly-skilled staff help children develop skills and confidence.

As well as a wide variety of activities available at the nursery there are also additional activities offered including specialist Music classes, fun French class and weekly swimming lessons along with other services such as professional photos and haircuts with an in-house hairdresser.

Menus are designed to offer a varied, nutritious and well-balanced diet, with food freshly prepared daily on site. Meat comes from local butchers and the children are offered the recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables each day.

Staff aim to introduce children to different tastes and textures whilst encouraging good manners and a happy atmosphere when children sit down for mealtimes. Staff are happy to discuss any special dietary requirements and cater to their needs.

I am so pleased with the care my son receives. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and I can see he has genuine bonds. It was an anxious time sending him to nursery but they made the process easy. He is so happy to go in the morning and happy when I collect him. I always get a full handover and
updates in the day so I know how he’s been and what’s going on.

Our daughter loves Little Trees Day Nursery Lansdown, we were worried if she would settle well as she is only going once a week but she loves it. We have a 15min drive and she chats all the way home about her day. The staff are lovely and care so well for her. She happily waves me off each day which
is comforting. We get fantastic weekly observations, showing how important her development is to her key worker. We love the daily updates and pictures of what all the children have been up to for the day.

Our daughter has attended Little Trees Day Nursery Lansdown since September 2022, she started just after turning 1. The staff are absolutely fantastic with her and helped her (and mine!) transition from home to nursery go as smoothly as possible. She asks for a cuddle as soon as she sees any of them
and seems happy to be there! They are great at updating us through the app, we get plenty of photos and updates about her day, which is invaluable. Would 100% recommend Little Trees Day Nursery Lansdown to other parents, especially anyone nervous about their baby starting nursery for the first time!

We’ve been nothing but impressed since our little boy started at Little Trees Day Nursery Lansdown. Even from the early ‘Settling In’ sessions when he struggled to adjust, the team have given us nothing but confidence that he couldn’t be in a safer or more encouraging environment. Despite challenges
with his sleeping and eating during the first few months, the team consistently kept us updated and were keen to catch up with us at the end of every day to discuss his progress and how they were constantly revisiting their approach to find what worked for him. We also had regular updates throughout the day thanks to the Famly app that they use to provide feedback on his development and share photos from the day’s activities. Thanks to all of the team’s efforts and patience he’s now fully settled in his nursery routine and we’re looking forward to how he continues to grow at Little Trees over the coming years.

Both my children have gone to Little Trees Day Nursery Lansdown since they were babies (one is now in pre-school and one is in toddlers) and have had a wonderful experience. It is a really caring environment and all the staff know all the children across the departments, which is lovely. They've really
built up the confidence of my oldest child in particular and supported him when he was having difficulties. I love how much they prioritise outside play - they always get the children out as much as possible in the fantastic garden.

Little Trees is absolutely brilliant. Committed to my child's development and always put the children's needs first. The team genuinely adore my little one, and the feeling is mutual. Their key workers' names are a mainstay in our house and my little one can't wait to go to nursery. What I particularly
like is the breadth of new experiences they have, indoor and outdoor. Lots of things I don't have time to do at home or simply don't have the resource for. They provide plenty to eat too for a happy child!
The office staff are brilliant too. Very flexible and accommodating and they know every single child.


This has been the same at every stage of nursery - The ladies in the baby department, and the rest of the team in the toddler department. I genuinely can't fault them and my child is learning a lot!

My three-year-old has been going to Little Trees since she was around 15 months old. She's always loved it, and as parents, we've always been very happy with the nursery and how she's cared for. Regular updates and observations are provided via the app.
The building is spacious and light, with lots
of room for the different age groups, and the outside space is brilliant - the children get to play outside virtually every day. The menu always looks varied and appealing.
Would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents.

The staff are always brilliant with the children. We get daily updates of what our daughter is up to and observations throughout the year to update us on her progress. There are also occasions for the parents to go in and spend time with their children (e.g. Christmas party).

My daughter has been at Little Trees for around 3 months, initially for 2 days per week and more recently, daily. The staff are very friendly and well organized. I get frequent assessments on her progress and activities during the day. She enjoys nursery so much that she asks to go even on weekends

Fabulous centre! Both my children have attended, having previously lived overseas. The range of topics, activities and resources the children are offered is impressive and the staff are always caring and attentive. Fantastic outdoor area also!

We have used this nursery for all three of my children. They have all loved coming here so much. The garden is excellent. They always seem to enjoy the food, and the activities they do with the children are lots of fun. In particular, the staff are great - I'm always impressed how even the managers
know all the kids names (it is a fairly large nursery) and how much the staff genuinely love the kids they look after. The staff are brilliant at updating the app with the activities the kids have been upto. My oldest two are now both at school, but they still talk about some of the staff and ask to see them if possible. I will be really sad when my littlest leaves. I really can't fault the nursery and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

All three of our sons have attended Little Trees, and the older two, who are six and eight, still talk about how they enjoyed their time there, and when on their school holidays, ask to come and pick up the youngest when they're off to see the staff again. We have over seven years of experience in sending
our children to Little Trees and would highly recommend it. Back when we looked at the various offerings in Cheltenham, we were impressed with the size of the outside space Little Trees offers. Another draw for us was the opening hours. Having made the decision to send our eldest there, we have been nothing but impressed with the care given to our children and the relationships they have built. In terms of preparing the children for school, the work they do is great, providing stepping stones into education.

My daughter started nursery not very long ago but from the first day at nursery, she was treated so well, was given so much attention, following the routine that we had at home. All the little details were taken into account and she definitely felt that she is in a happy and safe place.
Few months
down the line, Tree Tops is one of her favourite places to be.
Can’t thank the ladies enough for everything they are doing for my little girl.

I am really pleased with the care my 2 children receive from Tree Tops in Cheltenham.
The nursery organises such a wide range of activities that no 2 days are the same.
The menu probably contains too many sweet puddings for my liking but this is a small criticism of a really lovely, caring environment.

Tree Tops is a fantastic setting that makes great use of their space indoors and out.
Since starting with TreeTops in October 2018, my daughter settled quickly and always appears happy and eager to attend her sessions.
The staff there are always welcoming, with a positive and cheery attitude, whilst
maintaining a high standard of professionalism and focus.
The structure of my daughter’s days at the nursery and the activities they do are fantastic for her early development and we can really see what she has learnt.
We are so very pleased with the level of communication on my daughter’s progress and report on her daily achievements.
We would highly recommend TreeTops.

The nursery is great, the new nursery manager has really stepped things up and the management and organisation are much improved. There is a lot of thought put into what activities the children do, they offer cookery classes, french classes etc. The outdoor space means they spend a lot of time outside
doing many different activities, looking for bugs, getting muddy, going on the swings, bikes etc. The recent parent's evening reviews demonstrated that they know my child very well and are able to tailor content to what she likes doing. The staff are incredibly caring and friendly and my daughter runs into nursery each morning.

My 17 month old has been at Tree Tops since April this year and he has come on leaps and bounds since joining in terms of confidence, speech and socialising.
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive and the activities, facilities (particularly the outside space) and meals provided are excellent.

Vikki Gunn

Job Title: Little Trees Lansdown Nursery Manager

Vikki started her career back in 2006 as an unqualified practitioner but progressed quickly working towards gaining her NVQ 3, knowing she had chosen the right career path. Vikki started her Dean Close journey in 2021, beginning as preschool lead in Little Trees Hucclecote and then to Deputy Manager here at Lansdown.


Vikki thoroughly enjoys every single day and enjoys watching how the children learn and develop. It is truly wholesome watching the children go through their nursery life and then onto their next chapter. Children are incredible and it is truly rewarding to see them become independent, learn new skills and flourish. Working in a variety of different settings both in the public and private sector, has given her different experiences and opportunities.


To support her, Vikki has a highly qualified and experienced team. Her staff are dedicated to giving young children the care and attention they need to aid their social, emotional and intellectual development.


Our nursery workers are up to Level 5 qualified in Childcare and Education or are working towards or beyond this qualification. We offer training and continued professional development to all employees.


We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All our employees undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service. Every member of staff is trained in essential first aid and child protection, giving you added peace of mind.
