Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school Cainscross

I'm so pleased that we are lucky enough to have such a brilliant nursery on our doorstep. My two children have both loved attending nursery here. The staff are very welcoming, dedicated and clearly care deeply about the children's wellbeing. I thoroughly recommend this nursery!

Such a lovely nursery. So much attention detail from the staff with the different activities they offer, lots of communication about how my daughter is doing every day, and accommodating for her needs e.g nap schedule. She settled really quickly and seems very happy. Has developed a lot since starting. My favourite thing is how much time she spends outdoors, and how much she eats! :)

I just love this nursery and everything about it. The staff are wonderful, caring, patient, welcoming, helpful, reliable, and professional. It is a calm place to come into after the usual morning stresses and my (sometimes anxious) child is confident coming in every morning. She has grown in confidence amazingly thanks to the steady, supportive care she has received. Staff turnover appears very low - I see most of the same faces month after month and this gives confidence in the continuity of care. My child has so much fun at nursery, playing in the garden in all weathers, crafting, dressing up, listening to stories, building and role playing. The communication with parents is outstanding, from admin tasks to daily updates and assessment points, we are always well-informed about what is going on for our child. The food provided seems healthy and my child enjoys meals such as chilli, curry, lasagne and soup, with lots of fruit and natural yoghurt. I highly recommend this nursery.

This is a brilliant nursery. The staff always greet you with a smile and a hello which can make a big difference to your day as a parent when you have just battled to get your children to nursery on time! My son started here at 11 months old and I did not hesitate to put my daughter's name down to start in 2026. Since starting, my son has grown in confidence hugely. He loves to go and find his friends. He adores the outside space available and in warmer weather, staff take the children out of the setting for walks. Staff are extremely caring, honest and positive. At pickup, they talk you through how the day has been. There are always books being read, activities being provided and fun to be had. They do dress up days, they have supported us with potty training, they ask how things are. I love that messy/paint activities that I don't always do at home are done here. I was amazed at Christmas when my son came home with a bag full of craft work, cards and even presents from this nursery!

I absolutely love this nursery. My daughter started when she was just a year, she will be leaving next August for big school. She really enjoys going to preschool, they are kind, caring and so person centred. I am so pleased I sent her there and will be sad when she leaves. My little boy starts in 3 weeks. So excited that he will be on a similar journey to my daughter, hoping he will thrive just like she did.

From the settling-in process to the daily updates, the team has been fantastic, making us feel completely at ease. The environment is nurturing, stimulating, and full of joy-we couldn't ask for a better place for our son to grow and learn.

Our child is so happy to go to Nursery here. She has a big smile going in every morning. The activities are brilliant that the staff set up. The staff are excellent. We really appreciate effort that goes into keeping us in the loop with the App and when we pick up.

Our son has been really happy here, and loves to see his key worker. He really seems to be thriving. Lots of fun activities, themed days, excellent communication including tracking his progress, and nice, newly renovated facilities. Highly recommend

Fabulous nursery, my eldest loved it and thrived there! And we are going through the nursery again with my youngest! Both my kiddies loved all members of staff and my partner and I do too! We really love this nursery/preschool.

We love this nursery. We have three children here and they love it. All the staff are amazing, so friendly and caring. The food is cooked onsite and there's a great focus on play and learning. Really recommend.

We love this nursery and recommend it to all our friends! The staff are all so welcoming, friendly and approachable. They have recently refurbished the nursery and it looks great. Our son loves coming here. They have an app which the staff update regularly, so I know what my son has been up to through the day. He enjoys going outside which they do most days. I have no concerns with this nursery and the care the children are given. I feel lucky that my son gets to come here and am excited for his baby sister to start soon!

Fabulous nursery with an established team of staff. They pack so much into a day. My son has made so many lovely friends there. They spend lots of time outside. Most importantly, they help kids develop and become ready for school.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Little Pioneers! From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcome and reassured. Our little boy is still settling in and we are so grateful for the kindness and patience of the staff. We are seeing progress every day and the staff are so supportive, keeping us updated and we're confident he will soon be running in with a big smile like his peers! It's clear the staff really care about the children and work hard to make each day fun and engaging. We are so glad we chose Little Pioneers and look forward to seeing our son grow and thrive here!

My child absolutely loves the setting, especially since it has been revamped. And the staff are outstanding. They're incredibly friendly and always take time out to pass updates on to parents during pick up.

A fantastic nursery with friendly, available and supportive staff. The recent refurb has really demonstrated the high quality care and thought that goes into this nursery and the place looks great. Management are considerate and caring and have dealt with any issues promptly and professionally. Activities are creative and engaging and there are a number of different areas that children can play and explore in each room. Our children get time outside every day, have a chance to play physically and creatively and activities are matched to children's interests or contexts. They are very happy here and will be sad to leave.

The staff at Cainscross are so kind and welcoming and our child has settled in really well. The updates are regular and the developmental reports are thorough and really helpful. I feel as though my child is really safe here.
