Cuddles Day Nursery Ltd (Canford Heath)

Both my boys have been here. The facilities are amazing, the staff are so friendly and nice. They really cared for both of them.

Shoutout to two staff members in particular who always take the time to chat with me and let me know how he has eaten, if he's been sad etc

Every day they enjoy time outside, there are different activities set up which the children can choose from each day but there is also structure to the day which my daughter benefits from. I have no hesitation recommending Cuddles and will continue to use them for holiday clubs once my daughter starts school.

Although we are never far away as the holiday club is also fabulous and the kids have such fun and outings.

My little girl started at Cuddles in September for her final year before starting big school. She has come on leaps and bounds with her friends and teachers in the Conchitas room. She is always so excited to go in and even asks to go in at the weekend! This just shows me how well looked after the children are. My daughter has a great bond with her key worker, who has made us feel so comfortable. She loves it here, we will be sad to see her leave! Thank you to all the girls who have helped my little one grow and flourish!

Additionally, the nursery organises far fewer outings; perhaps only two annually compared to the almost daily trips our daughter enjoys with her childminder.

I am a mother who has been using the nursery for the past 3 years. I can say that the preschool rooms have been absolutely fantastic. My children have had so much fun in the preschool rooms and gardens, especially Hetty Hornets! The staff of this age group has been a great support to my children and myself I could not have asked for a better setting for them to attend. They have developed and learned so much, with so much to constantly do. The room leaders and key workers go above and beyond to ensure every child's needs are catered for individually. They have shown my children love, learning, and happiness. Thanks for everything you do, especially to the hornets who have cared for 2 of my children, you deserve so much recognition for all of your hard work and dedication!

My daughter has been with Cuddles for just over a year now and it has done wonders for her confidence and social skills. The staff are amazing and take great care of the children, going above and beyond to help with their personal development and get them ready for school. I've been extremely impressed with the facilities, events and activities that the children get the opportunity to participate in; most recently the class nativity, which 9 months ago my daughter wouldn't have done in front of all the other parents! A big thank you to all the staff in the Conchita's room, you're fantastic and I hope my daughter is fortunate enough to have similar experiences when she starts at school next year!

Staff at Cuddles were great, my daughter really came out of her shell and built so much confidence thanks to everyone. She really enjoyed going to cuddles and playing whilst learning, so much so it was often hard to get her to come home! Not only that, but my eldest also thought it looked great and asked to use their wraparound care this year rather than the school's.

Best place that I’ve send my children to, my daughter loved it and my son has settled right in and loves coming! Definitely recommend, the staff are friendly and very accommodating and understanding.

Fantastic, happy and safe environment for my child. All staff became my son's friends and he was so well cared for. Great foundation to prepare them for school. Lots of different gardens for them to play in and taken for regular woodland walks and little trips out and about.

Cuddles Canford Heath have been amazing for our daughter. Their outside space is incredible, varied and well maintained. The staff are consistently friendly and approachable and give their everything to the children. I would have liked to see more variety of food at breakfast, such as additional fruit or yoghurt, but otherwise it's great. My daughter was so ready for school and the transition has been so smooth, I know that was down to the hard work of the Cuddles staff. Thank you!

My daughter enjoyed spending time in Cuddles for two years, couldn’t ask for better people and setting. Thank you very much for everything, she is a confident little girl who is very happy now at school, but missing her dress up and lipstick times! Thanks again.

I was recommended Cuddles Canford Heath by another parent, as I was looking to change nurseries due to having issues with my little one's nursery provider. I only wish I had known about Cuddles from day one! I could not fault my child’s transition process to the new setting and within a short space of time she felt very much at home. The staff were always very friendly and welcoming. My daughter always enjoyed her day at nursery and often complimented the food (usually going back for seconds!). The nursery offers a number of rooms and gardens and she thoroughly enjoyed time in the garden, whatever the weather! My daughter has now started school, but still talks about the nursery and the staff on a regular occurrence. Thank you Cuddles for the fantastic care you provided.

The staff at Cuddles have looked after all three of my children, spanning almost nine years. I cannot fault the teams at all! The children have always enjoyed their time at Canford Heath Cuddles and have been well looked after and supported to learn and develop at their own pace. Some of the staff have become like family over the years and I cannot recommend them enough!

My daughter has been going here since Covid. The nursery she was previously at seemed like it was 'better' on paper, with more grass outside space and slightly smaller groups etc., but she was never as happy there as she has been at Cuddles. She has really thrived here, they spend lots of time outside and she has made some really good friends. She has now started in the after school club and found it a bit tricky, but has had lovely support from staff and is settling into the new routine really well. I think that it would be nice to see slightly more on the app as to what they have been up to or have it updated slightly more often, but I would rather the staff were playing with the kids than updating paperwork so not too worried.

I can’t praise Cuddles highly enough. My daughter started there when she was less than a year old and has just begun after school sessions now she’s started primary school. Cuddles have been a huge part of her journey so far, they’ve helped her learn, developed her confidence and independence and supported her throughout. It genuinely felt like we were leaving her with family.

We have been using Cuddles for over six years and we are so happy with the care they have given our children. The staff are happy, caring and well trained and the nursery is very well organised and resourced. We could not fault them!

I've found Cuddles Day Nursery to be a top-rate nursery. The facilities are excellent with lots of space and activities for the children and they take a deep interest not just in their physical wellbeing but also in their development and education. I couldn't be happier.
